Fast forward 6 months later, the truck barely got used (3-4 times a month) and the transmission completely failed. I had to spend $4,300 on a rebuild!! When I called in August 2025 asking for the repair paperwork, they changed their story and claimed it was the engine that was repaired, not the transmission. It's been over two weeks and I still haven't received any paperwork whatsoever. Would not recommend this place at all. Dishonest and untrustworthy. Anyone that's had issues I would definitely recommend seeking legal help as I will do the same.

This review is not about the trailer being sold as-is. Before I bought it, I specifically asked about the brakes because I was concerned about towing it. I was told they worked, and that statement was important enough that the bill of sale states, "Brakes work, to the best of my knowledge." I was also told the trailer had been purchased new, used for storage, and that the last time it was used was to haul items from Arizona to Florida, after which it was parked. I relied on those representations and completed the purchase instead of having the trailer inspected first. After towing the trailer, I had a catastrophic suspension failure. An inspection revealed the trailer had no functioning brakes and a broken spring hanger. Those are major safety issues. I'm not asking anyone to feel sorry for me. I made the mistake of trusting what I was told instead of insisting on an independent inspection. My advice is simple: if you're buying a trailer from LA Vice Motors, have it inspected by an independent trailer shop before you buy it, regardless of what you're told. It could save you thousands of dollars and, more importantly, could prevent a dangerous situation. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions based on that experience.
