Chicken Samosa, Shrimp Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Tikka Pasta

We ordered Chicken Samosa, Shrimp Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan, There was a promotion for a free Tikka Pasta. We thought the Tikka was a little sweet, and if the Tikka Pasta wasn't free, we wouldn't have ordered it. I liked the Chicken Samosa and Shrimp Biryani, but the rice was a little too wet for my preference.

We were staying nearby and this place popped up. Food was really good and if you like spicy, go for extra spicy. Cocktail was also good. Price doesn't break your back.

This review is long overdue. We ordered for take out on a Indian food craving night. This was between a 3-4 stars but satisfied the craving. It was first time ordering dosa and certainly has not been my last since then! The dosa was crispy and I liked the green sauce. I am always a sucker for butter chicken and this one was decent, consistency could have been a smidge thicker and asked for very spicy and wasn't spicy. The naan fell short for me being more thin and a little too crispy versus fluffy and a vessel to grab the curry.

Visited Mild 2 Spicy for an outing with friends and we had an excellent experience! The staff were all friendly and very accommodating for large groups. Since we there were a lot of us, we ordered a variety of food and all of it was delicious, very authentic. This was my first time having Indian food in the city and the experience was great!

We got the daal and paneer makhani and they were ok. I want blown away like some others are. The service was friendly and they were busy on a Sunday night!

A staple for us. Good butter chicken, matar paneer, and vindaloo. They also have bhature which is a million times better than naan, but they have regular naan too if you're not about that life. Quick and friendly service and good portions

mild 2 spicy has amazing indian food!! i got the chicken curry and i thought it was delicious, especially paired with garlic naan. they bring out huge portions of rice with all the curries as well so you don't absolutely need naan but id recommend it because who doesn't love naan? and their garlic naan was delicious! we came ~4pm on a friday for a rlly early dinner and ended up staying till 8. the restaurant wasn't busy so i wld assume this is a great dinner spot if you really want to talk to everyone you're with and also enjoy amazing food because i don't think they ever get too crowded! it's also spacious inside and they don't play loud music, guaranteeing that you can hear everyone you're with. i'd definitely come back to mild 2 spicy !

Waiting for out group to show up.

One of the best Indian Restaurants we have tried. We had a table of eight, with three 8 year olds, plus parents and grand parents. The service was excellent, very attentive and helpful. Which really helped us with ordering. We tried a lot of stuff! Eating family style and sharing across the tables. As expected the Buttered Chicken was a hit with everyone. The reviews we read ahead of time were spot on. We started with Mixed Pakora, the Spicy Pakora was just right and the potato Pakora was a big hit. Samosa Chat was good too. Saag Paneer with its creamy texture and full of spinach was better than expected too. We had several Curries, the Buttered Chicken and finished with Lamb Vindaloo which was nice and spicy. The Naan, Garlic Naan and Dosas were completely wiped out by our group. Great time and great food. I highly recommend you try this place.

normally I don't care to write reviews, but the food from Mild 2 Spicy was so bad that I feel obligated to share my experience. Everything I ordered was underwhelming and lacking in flavor. The samosas were undercooked and chewy. The curry was bland and so were the chutneys (howww???) Very disappointing and a waste of hard earned money.

Star of the show would have to be the fish basant, super crispy and with a little bit of heat. The vindaloo pork belly tonkatsu was so well cooked and crispy on the outside but light on the inside. Make sure to order garlic naan on the side, we wish we ordered a second portion to take home that's how good it was. Definitely check them out, it's being added to the rotation for us.

The lighting throughout the restaurant was warm and elegant, and both the interior and exterior created a very inviting atmosphere. From an ambiance standpoint, Basant definitely delivered. Service -- 5/5 The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. They checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Everyone we interacted with made us feel comfortable and well taken care of, and I have nothing negative to say about the hospitality. Food -- 2/5 Unfortunately, the food is where the experience fell short for me. I frequent Indian restaurants and one of the things I love most about Indian cuisine is the incredible depth and layering of flavors. Here, I just didn't experience that. The Gobi Manchurian was especially surprising. I'm accustomed to recognizable cauliflower florets, but these were minced and formed into almost meatball-like pieces. The sauce provided plenty of heat, but to me it was mostly spice without the complexity of flavor I was expecting. I was also surprised not to see a tikka masala option. I ordered a tomato-based soup and even tried adding rice to give it a little more substance, but it still lacked the depth of flavor I've experienced at other Indian restaurants. Ironically, the highlight of the meal for me was the garlic naan it was delicious. Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, but for an Indian restaurant, the food ultimately has to be the star, and unfortunately that was the weakest part of my experience. 3/5 overall.

The shank was medium sized, served over a rich, slightly spicy curry. My server told me the dish was already very spicy so I asked for mild. It turned out to be much less spicy than I expected so it was deserve trying even if you do not eat much spicy food. It was served with basmati rice. We also shared the Ghee Roasted Cauliflower. It was a whole cauliflower par-boiled then roasted. Topped with cheese and served with yogurt and mint chutney. The cauliflower had a distinct taste from cumin and turmeric, while the yogurt+chutney gave it some freshness and heat. Overall very interesting. However, the cauliflower could be boiled for less time so it could maintain some crispness.
