Consumer Beware! I took my rzr in for warranty work at the end of August. Thry called me and said if I wanted the work exoedited, I needed to buy the parts up front and they would reimburse me. I paid them $1800 for parts to expedite the work, warranty paid them the full amount, $32## around September 16th. Mile High Offroad never reimbursed the $1800. They have dragged their feet and made excuses. I have called and gone in. They Finally wrote me a post dated check on the 18th of December for $900, and after waiting for the date to cash it, turns up Non sufficient Funds. they have at this point blocked my calls and will not return them. Not BBB accredited for a reason. If you need your side/side, jeep or truck repaired DO NOT take it to Mile High Offroad LLC. This advice comes from a former employee/customer. I worked at this shop and left due to health issues. During this period of time I watch no less than four employees quit/leave this shop. Of course the owner and the manager will tell you the employees were fired. Unfortunately I found all this out too late after I brought a 2012 Polaris Crew 800 side/side in that had a seized motor to have the motor replaced, over two months later and every excuse in the book I picked up the side/side with a reman motor from Rev 6 installed that still do not run (No compression in one of the cylinders). I then had to take the side/side to Outdoor Sports repair shop to fix the problem. Mile High Offroad would not release my warranty to me that I paid for with the motor from Rev 6 so I had to pay for Outdoor Sports for another reman motor from N-Flow. I took the owner of Mile High Offroad to small claims court to try to recover the monies lost. I was granted the judgement by the Prescott Small Claims Court division, case #J1303CV2024002290 (look it up public record) but of course due to the lack of integrity, fraud form Mile High Offroad LLC they have not paid the legal judgement issued by the Small Claims Court. I can go on and on, In conclusion DO NOT TAKE YOUR SIDE/SIDE, JEEP OR TRUCK TO MILE HIGH OFFROAD! PLEASE. This business is LESSS THAN TRUTHFUL! LIES LIES LIES! Mile High Offroad installed my 40 inch Baja Designs light bar onto the front bumper of my Ram Powerwagon. From start to finish the crew at Mile High Offroad were outstanding to deal with! I spoke with Bobby the tech and French (manager) and I explained what I wanted to be done and they "got it" right from the start (the owner introduced himself and made sure I was taking care of as well). The bracket they fabricated will last a lifetime and looks great on my Ram PW. Electrical Wiring was installed perfectly. Keep in mind electrical work is an art form. Not too many companies know what they are doing. Bottom line: MILE HIGH OFFROAD in Prescott Valley is an OUTSTANDING 4x4 company and they know what they are doing! As of writing this post I have still not received a refund requested on April 30th, Mile High had my suburban for over 2 months for a simple regear on the rear axle, this is a 6 hour job topps, I have been lied to and mislead and after finally taking my suburban back i have still not been refunded for the work that was not preformed. Great customer service! The rental process was quick & easy. The drive from Prescott Valley to Jerome was beautiful. The SxS is equipped with a GPS map, which worked great. Upon return, the staff provided an air hose to blow off dust from your clothing. MUST DO! So much fun. read more

I had a great experience with Mile High. Needed my side by side serviced and wanted to supports a local small business. They answered the phone the first time I called and were polite and professional. They were able to get me in quickly which was nice since we had a big camp and ride coming up the next weekend. When I dropped it off in the morning they took the time to answer my questions. Afterward They sent me home with a 22 point Maintenance/inspection checklist which printed out everything they did. They pointed out one small item that is showing signs of ware and should be replaced before too long, but they assured me it was not a safety issue. There was no pressure. I feel they did a honest job for a fair price. My 2015 RZR is ready to hit the trails again I Will definitely be using their services again in the future. read more

The customer service is terrible. We really thought we found a good place to take our SxS for service but the issues started when we had an incident and the machine needed to actually be fixed. They assured us they could handle it but 3 months later we still didn't have a machine. So much unneeded drama for an easy fix. When my husband said just get it done and we will part ways the owner called and said I don't care what happened in the past only the future and you said you weren't coming back again so we don't want to fix your machine now. I really feel like they didn't know what they were doing because it should not take months and months to get the machine back. read more

Where do I start? I am a new member to this community, in fact I am still moving our things. So on this day we were on a ride led by Scott Porter, I started experiencing brake fade the last 10 miles. There was no noise just limited braking ability. So I slowed down and nursed it the rest of the trip. I got home bought some brake pads and pulled the wheels to start installing the brakes. After pulling the brake caliper on the left side I noticed that the hub was sloppy. I shook it and a piece of bearing race fell out. I had just gotten the front differential, and both front axles replaced at a dealer in Oregon. We guess what they neglected to install the cotter pin on the driver side. Troubled by the failure I called the local Polaris Dealer, Because I carry extended warranty through Polaris. They couldn't fix it for a few weeks! Worried about missing a big ride this weekend in Sedona I messaged a local friend Scott Porter. He said call Mile High Offroad, in fact when we met he told me if we want great service contact Mile High not Star Island the Polaris Dealer. I called Vern and he said give me 20 minutes to get back to the shop. I decided to load up and head that way. He looked at his schedule and said how's Thursday work for you? I said wow that would mean so much to me! Vern then proceeded to give my wife and I a tour of his shop, and he began to explain his service standards. He also spent time bragging about his employees and their skills and abilities. We learned so much about this man in a short time, and it became apparent he was extremely proud of his show and most of all his employees. We also learned some are veterans and all are Patriots! About 11am they started working on the RZR and shortly after I received a photo showing just how bad this bearing failure was. He warned me that it's badly welded itself in the hub, and Vern said he will try but it might be to bad. Somehow his guys got it out? I had them replace the right front seeing it had a lot of miles on it and I didn't want another failure. Guess what? The right cotter pin was missing as well! This would have failed on the next ride and it was already loosening up. I asked Vern do you think I should look at the rear bearings? He said we're here so we can look, and then he said that if the bearings are good he can repack the grease with a tool he fabricated. So I had him go ahead and do that. A few hours later I was notified the it was ready to go. We grabbed the trailer and headed out. Upon arrival to the shop, we were welcomed in by everyone we Shared great conversation with Vern and his employees. We paid the bill, and continued to the trailer. Upon lowering the ramp on the enclosed trailer the helper cable let loose. Vern herd the noise and came to the rescue again! He helped up hook up the cable and put preload back in the lift springs. Completely satisfied I left feeling as though I had just made a new friend. I definitely found my new service department! Thank you Vern! And Thank you to all your amazing staff! Worst service shop and worst business owner I've dealt with in 60 years in Az. Charged over 1 k for work, 100 percent definitely not needed. Had my Rzr for a month and couldn't fix a minor starting issue. Star Island fixed it in 2 hours. A simple ignition switch. I would never deal with Mile High off road again and never deal with this owner Vern Wallace again. Mile High installed a Roadmaster rear anti-sway bar on my '18 Ram 3500 dually. They were pleasantly professional in their personal interactions and work product. They were kind enough to answer my questions without equivocation. I'm rarely in Prescott Valley, but Mile High Off-road will be my go-to repair shop when I need their services. I feel I was treated very unfairly at Mike High off Road. Recently I brought my Rzr to them for full service to change fluids. I told Vern that I had occasional trouble starting and felt I may have an electrical issue. The Rzr was running perfect once it started but would stall when first started. After it was running it started fine. Mile High had it for almost 30 days. I was charged 1,000 for fixing the problem. They claim it was a valve problem. (It ran perfect other than starting) When I went to pick it up, it did NOT start! The same EXACT problem I asked them about in the beginning! They had it an additional 2 weeks and couldn't figure out the problem so they took it to Star Island. Within 2 hours Star Island said the ignition switch was not working and showed us where it was coming apart. They ordered the parts and fixed it within 2 days. We feel we paid 1,000 for something we did not need. It was the ignition switch from the beginning. We didn't have any trouble with it running rough once started. We went back to Vern, no apologies, no empathy, no price adjustment, nothing! You decide if this was you, if you would want to do business with someone like this! I will not! read more
