My H2O heater sprung a leak. UGH!!! I had quotes that were sky hi and the wait time was long. Luckily I found MILEHI HVAC. I contacted them at 10am and by 12:30 PM same day I had a new industrial grade H2O heater. I cannot believe how quickly this all happened. Yes I was offered the run of the mill heater. Big box things that reviews made me think I was going to buy the wrong one. Well I sent photos of what I had and it turns out it was an industrial heater. That's why I had so many years of use. For a few more dollars MILEHI HVAC installed the best heater I could buy for my home. LOOK...everyone else was incredibly high priced for what I considered was a basic heater that too many people were complaining about breakdowns. I got a great industrial H2O heater installed from phone call to install in around 3 to 4 hours, all for less than $1500. I am extremely pleased With MILEHI HVAC. The technician showed up with a nice box truck. It was very nicely organized. He was finished in about 45 minutes. Showed me how to operate the new heater and took away the old broken heater. Stop searching around. Call MILEHI HVAC! Not kidding. They will provide great service and you will get every penny of your monies worth. Oh the H2O heater I bought is a 50gal. It works great. I've never reviewed anyone on Yelp before but I thought this experience is worth sharing. I shopped around and had 3 reputable HVAC companies come to my house and look at my Heater and AC systems and provide bids. While all 3 had nice representatives come to my house, Shaun from MileHi HVAC was the most thorough. Here's the kicker...they were SIGNIFICANTLY lower priced than the other two bids. That raised a red flag to me that something was off...like perhaps they were quoting inferior systems or might have some hidden fees. That said I reached out to Shaun with questions about his bid, he responded back quickly and spent good deal of time making sure everything was answered and that I was fully comfortable moving forward. He was professional, friendly, patient, and spoke in terms I could understand (I don't know much about HVAC systems). When I chose to work with them, their scheduler and the technicians (installer and electrician) were both extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and communicated well. Chris, went out of his way to set up my new Nest thermostat for no additional charge and showed me how to use it etc. All in all they went above and beyond my expectations for a great price. If you need a WATER HEATER, Call these guys first! Due to wanting to keep our "social distancing" I used the THUMBTACK app to help me find contractors, and that got me several emails with (and some without) prices to pick from. (Be sure to specify the Size you want, otherwise, you'll get phone calls as well) So, most places quoted prices in the $1500 Dollar range, a few much higher. But these guys BEAT THE REST BY HUNDREDS OF DOLLAR$! The price they gave over the phone was not only the lowest, it was exactly what I paid when the job was done! Not only that, they provided every thing required to meet the latest codes, AND a RHEEM Water Heater. Including a full one year parts and labor warranty plus a 6 year parts warranty! Tracy was the one I spoke with and Vladimir was the tech. Vladimir was very fast and thorough, and, of course, he followed proper "COVID-19" practices. I am very pleased with the work done, the Water Heater itself and, for sure the no "once we get here we will upsale you all kinds of stuff" transaction. So far, so good. The estimate process was fast, friendly, and honest. The pricing was among the best - and I sought 7 separate bids. The equipment installed was a premium brand. Mile Hi's bid for an upgraded furnace and central AC package was the same as - and in a couple of cases, less than - the bid I received from other HVAC companies for their standard/basic line of equipment. Shaun did not try to "wow" me with shiny portfolios, but instead had a conversation and gave me straightforward answers and recommendations. The installation itself was handled in a professional manner by Chris, within just a few days of receiving my bid. He installed everything to meet or exceed code, making adaptations to my system to update to new regulations and the new system. He even took additional time to re-wire and reconnect my humidifier, staying later than usual to complete the job. So a follow up visit is scheduled in about a week just to check that everything is (still) running smoothly (for example, testing the function of the A/C on an upcoming warmer day) - and I will update my review after that. We are selling our house and getting a new water heater as well as cleaning, servicing, and certifying the furnace is a big plus for potential buyers. After getting a quote of $1,600 for an entirely ordinary/straightforward water heater replacement and another company who wanted to charge $75 just to give us a quote, I found an ad for MileHi HVAC. Geno answered the phone when I called and in addition to offering the best prices I had found for a water heater and furnace servicing, he was very friendly and accommodating. We had our new AC system installed by Jeddie and his son, Angel, yesterday morning and we have to say we give them an A++. They were on time and ready to go. Our AC unit broke in the middle of a hot spell last weekend. We noticed the fan and compressor were not turning on. I called around to a few places, and MileHi (answered by Joanie) were the first ones that could see us that day (they had a repair tech nearby). The service visit charges and general estimates were very helpful, since we were new to AC repairs. Joanie was very professional and understood when I needed to coordinate with the landlord to get the repair going. Dennis (the repair tech) came that day, diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed it in about 15 minutes. He already had the replacement part in his well stocked van. I'm really glad Joanie and MileHi HVAC could fit us in. Everywhere I called would not be able to see us for a few days or few weeks. Sometimes when you find a company with a really great price you wonder if you'll pay for it another way, like poor service or hidden fees that erase any advantage you thought you had...well, that was not the case with MileHi HVAC. The price for our new water heater was outstanding (much lower than the competition) and the service could not have been any better...and there were no surprises. I'm always a little nervous someone won't actually show up so when I texted Geno at 8:00 PM to confirm the upcoming installation, instead of hearing back sometime the following day, I received a reply a couple minutes later giving me two options on when he could have our water heater installed. Then on the day of installation, Vlad showed up a few minutes early and the whole process took under an hour. WATER HEATER Because our water heater was 20 years old, I decided to replace it before I had problems. I called a number of plumbing companies and several even came to give me an estimate- others accepted photos and gave me estimates over the phone. I was amazed at the estimates I got as the difference between the highest and lowest was close to double, for the same product. One of the companies I called was Mile High HVAC. Tracy was very pleasant and courteous and asked if I could send photos, which I did. I woke up about 6:30 am to find my basement partially flooded with water and it was obvious that the water heater had leaked. After an extensive cleanup, I started making phone calls to see if we can get a replacement installed. I decided to use Yelp and within 10 minutes I started receiving phone calls about our situation. Geno from Mile High HVAC responded and assured us he could fix it that day, and the price will be very competitive. My furnace went out during the great blizzard. A friend recommended MileHi HVAC and set up a service call. The technician arrived and after looking at the furnace (which was 40 years old) he suggested a new furnace due to the fact that the old blower motor would be hard to replace. After thinking things through I decided to have a new furnace installed which occurred the following day. The technician, Art, arrived along with a helper and spent a good part of the day removing the old furnace and installing a new one. The installation was done professionally and Art answered all my questions. It also needs to be noted that Joanie, who works at the office, was extremely helpful during this process. When we began making calls, they responded quickly and asked all the right questions to make sure we got the right furnace for our home. They were either too expensive or couldn't come for 2 weeks (one even said we would have to get a county permit???) Loved MileHI HVAC and the reviews I read everywhere. Stay away from these guys I needed a follow-up to our furnace replacement . Played phone tag with Shaun for weeks. I was specific with my broad availability. Finally reached him to have the A/C inspected as well. Still waiting for that promised callback from Shaun-- it's been over 6 weeks. Once they're paid, they don't follow thru with any problems or concerns. No problem with the hot water heater because there was no problem with the hot water heater. Otherwise, I'm sure it'd still be unresolved. Inexpensive but terrible customer service. Unreliable and dishonest by not keeping their word. read more
