Great experience start to finish! We had a dual fuel heat pump system with furnace installed by MileHi. We did get multiple bids, but MileHi was the most knowledgeable and friendly. They made things pretty easy as they were more than willing to help guide us through this journey of trying to decide what's the best option for us out of all the options out there. He installed it in under 2 hours, cleaned up after himself, removed the old water heater, and all the trash. He even wiped down the floor and the door (the old water heater had soot on it!). Gas water heater replacement: I was lucky to find MileHi HVAC online. These water heaters usually fail every decade or two, so none of my friends had a "reference" for me that they could remember. I found the MileHi HVAC ad and the "$900" really caught my eye. I called Tracy, and the deal sounded good to me. I sent her some photos of the old leaking water heater and set up a 09:00 am appointment the next morning. By 10:30 AM, I was good to go. The new tank was in and the old one was gone. BTW, the old model that was leaking listed for $800 + $100 shipping on Amazon. That's just for the heater in a box delivered to the front door. Did I get a good deal with MileHi HVAC, for sure. I would recommend this company and give them 5-stars. read more

It's now been roughly two weeks since they have installed our new AC and we are now just waiting for our scheduled inspection. I will update how that goes as well. But let's start with our experience. Of course during the heat wave in July we ended up having an issue with an installation of an AC unit that was installed just prior to our closing on a new house. We probably called a half dozen AC installers and received quotes, had some no shows, had people try and up sell us, and some even tried to scare us into things we don't need. Here comes MileHi HVAC. First I spoke with the main office and explained what we needed, they asked about our schedule to have someone come out and take a look. Bonus points for working around my work and sleep schedule. We finally scheduled an appointment a few days later. The day of Shane the owner shows up. He was very polite, went over different options for the AC and what each option meant for us. He explained the 13, 14, 16 and 18 seer and explained what would be best and why. He never tried to up sell. He stated the facts and answered all of our questions. Even after Shane left he continued to stay in touch with us and answer more questions that we had before we even committed to the work. Once we committed to the work Shane continued to work with us and made himself available through text, cell phone and email if we had anymore questions or concerns. Shane and his team worked around our available times and made us feel like we were his priority with installations times. His crew showed up on time! They were very polite. One of them and I wish I would have remembered his name to give him credit actually walked through the entire instal and explained what they will be doing and how and asked us if that works for us and even have us options for placement of lines and what not, fantastic job and kudos to the install team. The day of the instal we did have a minor hiccup no fault to his crew. But Shane absolutely stepped up and went over and beyond to give us the best solution to get us AC. Trust me when I say this he absolutely did not have to. Now let's talk about pricing. After getting several quotes they were very reasonable. They weren't the most expensive, but they weren't the absolutely cheapest. But they were extremely competitive and fair. Based on how the front office manager treated us, how well they communicate and stayed on top of it all made us feel very confident in them. We are extremely happy with their work and especially how on top they are with their communication. If you bothered to read my entire review then I strongly urge you to skip all the "big name" places in Denver and give them a call. There's a different when people care about their work and their customers. I know we will be using them again in the future when we have additional upgrades we went to make to our heating and boiler unit when we are ready. Sometimes things just seem to happen all at once. You're out of work. Insurance drops your mom with Alzheimer's. Your truck breaks down and it's not worth the repair required. Then your 14 year old water heater kicks the bucket. That's when friends come in handy. Enter MileHi HVAC. I had another contractor look at my situation and he gave me a rather up-charged estimate, so I requested an online "second opinion" with MileHi. Before a week had passed we had a new, bigger and better water heater, and still saved hundreds. Geno (by phone) was kind enough to work with me on my payment after hearing of my financial situation. The only reason the installation didn't happen the very next day is that I needed to pull some funds together. Vladimir came out within 24 hours of my call. Super polite and unbelievably quick, he had the new one in and the old one out in an hour and left no other trace that he had been there. He was funny too! He joked that our water would get hot in a couple more days--really had me for a second. I am a friend of MileHi HVAC and will call on them as the need arises. read more

This company is extremely unprofessional. Joni is super rude, likes to name call and mock her clients, and can't seem to get her schedule straight and get technicians out when promised- then she likes to blame the missed or late appointment on the client. If the technician makes it to your appointment he will be late and its likely he will have no idea what he's doing and play on his phone for half an hour in your basement and then tell you he doesn't know what's wrong. (Yeah we all have cameras in our houses now, watched it all.) Then they will try to schedule a follow up appointment (I'm sure you see where this is going) and then you will go through this terrible cycle all over again. Save yourself from dealing with people of this caliber who obviously have no idea how to run a business or treat clients. Seriously- book someone else. read more

While MileHi didn't have one available, they did provide us with options for an immediate replacement. We went with a Bradford White which was reasonably priced, and was promptly installed. - Hired these guys back in Feb because my water heater stopped working for my rental home - They sent out someone and recommended that I replace the whole thing - I took their recommendation and paid them 1800 to replace everything as soon as the installation was complete, the flame goes out and they replace some parts - The next few days, the flames go out again. The tech comes back and checks it out. This time, the tech recommends bypassing a security/safety measure by rewiring this and that. I said, "No, bypassing security/safety is not an option. What if a fire breaks out?" Not sure why a professional would recommend such a thing. After more failed attempts, the tech brings up the idea of bypassing the security/safety again, but this time, to my tenant. My tenant called me with great concern. I told my tenant "that will not happen." I called the operator and helped her understand that if a fire breaks out, it will be very bad. Initially, the operator was being difficult about it but eventually understood my reasoning. She later apologized for it. - It's August and the problem is still ongoing. The operator told me that I have to call Rheem and deal with him. So I call Rheem and they're telling me that I have to deal with the HVAC contractor. I'm in a limbo here. I do a three way call, and Rheem agrees to send replacement parts. HVAC replaced the parts but the problem didn't get fixed. . - Flames go out again today. I called and spoke with the operator and the operator tells me that their work is no longer covered under the 1 year labor warranty. She said they did everything they could (replacing vapor sensors gazillion times) and told me I have to deal with the vendor myself. As soon as I called the operator to explain what was going on... she cut me off and explained that if I need their service, I would need to pay for their service. Why would anyone pay a HVAC contractor for the same repetitive failed attempts. Makes no sense to me. - Overall, the message I got was I'm on my own. This HVAC contractor will no longer help me. Up until this point, I was very calm and reasonable, but today, after a lot of back and forth yelling, not listening to each other, yelling over one another, the operator changes her tone a bit and says her boss will call me but he can't call me anytime soon because he's on vacation in Mexico. - At this point, I had enough. I have no trust in these guys. They don't keep their words. They're incompetent. I will be moving on and will have to take my loss and find a different way to fix this water heater - P.S. I won't go into the details about the multiple "NO SHOW" appointments. A time where I took a day off from work to wait for their tech. We are in the process of buying our rental and our inspector found a leak in the water heater. Tracy answered all my inquiries immediately and was patient while we worked out an agreement with the owner of the house. We texted pictures to make sure they had exactly what we needed, were advised that we needed a drip pan and expansion pack to meet code requirements for the appraisal, and the technician was there by the next morning.
