The NTB by Hungerford didn't have an opening until 1pm and I have to catch a flight at 5pm. I called Rockville Tire and Auto around 10am. He told me it would only take 30min, but a bay wouldn't be opened until about 11-1130am. I arrived at 11am and by 1122a, they found the culprit of the leak (stupid nail), patched my tire, and I was on my merry way! The price was very reasonable ($25.11 includes tax). The staff was very courteous. The inside of the shop is clean and has a 3 seater couch, a 2 seater, and a single chair. I can vouch for the comfiness of the three seater. There's a tv, an empty water dispenser, a Keurig (no k cups in there), and free wifi. While there were no K Cups out, you could certainly ask for them. I didn't come here for "amenities," so this didn't affect me at all. Hands down, I'll be coming here for future tire needs!

Doing some online research I figured it was due to the TPMS's battery was low and thus needed to be replaced. I have previously gotten one replaced at another shop for only $60 including sensor and labor. Only $25 for the labor if you bring your own part. Neely's tried to charge me $160 for just a 'diagnosis' which is literally a 1 min check with a diagnostic tool to find out the battery levels of each TPMS. And then they 'recommended' to replace all 4 sensors at once when that is totally unnecessary as all 4 TPMS's battery nearly never runs out at the same time. Then they want some more money for an OEM TPMS sensor when a universal Autel TPMS is less than $30 on Amazon. And Neely's will NOT install a customer provided part, even if it is brand new. Not to mention the mechanic I spoke with looks like some gang member and was super rude at that. AVOID these scam artist. If you want an honest mechanic, reach out to me and I can hook you up with one.

My last visit revealed the shop is under new ownership with new employees and a new computer system, and my entire service history was gone. I brought in my Honda CR-V for a blinking "D" drive light and paid a $190 diagnostic fee. The staff later informed me that the issue was likely "electrical or sensor related," but a full diagnosis would cost more with no guarantee of a reasonable price. The service advisor talked me out of pursuing the repair, saying the mechanic found no physical issues on a test drive. Hoping to get some value for the diagnostic fee, I asked them to inspect my worn ball bearings--an issue the previous mechanic had advised me to address soon. I was told the car "looks great" and my concerns were completely dismissed. Now, a month later, the very issue with the ball bearings that Winkler's failed to take seriously has come to fruition. My car is now not working because of their negligence, and I am forced to have it towed to another shop for what will likely be a significant repair. I feel my $190 was taken for an inconclusive diagnosis, my valid concerns were dismissed, and I was rushed out the door. The commitment to customer satisfaction that defined the old Winkler's is gone. Sadly, my family and I will now be taking our business elsewhere.

Jeff and Marcus are honest, professional and knowledgable about a wide range of automotive matters. When we take a car to RAC to be serviced, we know the work will be completed properly to maintain the car in top condition. We have never had to take a car back for a re-do Each visit, RAC does a full inspection of the vehicle and tells us what work is necessary and what issues need to be monitored for future consideration, They never recommend work which is not necessary at the time the vehicle is brought in for service. And although not required, the staff loves my wifes "goodie" package as extra compensation for a job well done!

I came to the shop to diagnose an issue with my brakes (1) which was never resolved. Then (2) they left the car with a new issue, and refused to reimburse the cost of repairs. The folks are super nice over the phone. I was excited to finally try to locate a reliable shop that I could trust and consistently work with. Thursday 4/23 I dropped off my car with the request to try to diagnose a loud screeching and feeling of grittiness I felt when braking. These brakes and rotors were recently replaced, so I was concerned. I asked for the car back Tuesday or Wednesday the next week. Monday 4/27 Due to an unexpected work commitment, I had to pick up the car early. Jeff still took time to warm up the brakes and identified there was as issue, which we agreed would be identified by an hour of labor the next time, in which the shop would take apart the brakes to investigate. I greatly appreciated this. Thursday 5/7 Dropped off the car at night. No issues. The shop confirmed over the phone they could get this done by Friday evening. Friday 5/8 I get a call from a staff member saying that their tech had driven the car for 10 to 20 minutes, and heard and saw nothing. After calling back, I requested another individual drive the car longer to warm up the brakes. He confirmed he had done so, and saw no issue. That evening when I picked it up, I saw the shop had driven the car for a total of 1.4 miles - clearly someone here was dishonest. I also noticed the 'check tire pressure' light was on when I picked up the car, but thought nothing of it as when the tires are removed, this alarm has to be reset. Sunday 5/10 I check the tires early morning, and see one of my tires is flat. Not only had the shop lied about driving the car, they had clearly punctured a tire and left the mess for me to clean up. I was forced to cancel prior commitments on my end and pay out of pocket for this issue. Monday 5/11 I contact the shop expressing frustration about the issue, and ask them to reimburse the cost of the tire, a bare minimum courtesy, as this also had serious financial work implications outside of this issue. They tell me that "we never even took the tires off the vehicle to inspect the brakes". I'll allow you to make your own judgements. Have a good day.

I tried filling each tire with air and only 1 tire would not hold the maximum pressure. After making an appointment with Alex, I dropped the car off so that he could take a look at it. What he discovered was that 2 of the tire sensors needed replacing. He couldn't find any place where the tire was damaged in any way. But, to be sure, he checked it a couple of times and what he found was correct. He gave me the estimate and I gave him the go ahead to do the work. He mentioned that he would contact me when the car was ready. Sure enough, he called to tell me that the car was ready and gave me the final cost for the repair. I went later that afternoon to pick up the car and returned it to my stepmother. She was elated! I was relieved! I enjoyed driving the car back to her as it was a smooth and quite comfortable ride. Thank you Cochran and Alex for making my stepmother a very satisfied customer. Great work performed in a day's time and my stepmother has found a mechanic that she's pleased with.
