The technician that was in my attic was rubbing the hvac tube back and forth on the strap that holds it in place...it wss right by the attic entrace and he didnt know I was watching . I could not watch longer thsn a minute cause insulation was starting yo come down. Once he was out of attic he told me showed me pictures of the venting tubes and there were holes in them that were not sll the way through, and vents were dirty. He offered to put algie stop tablets in system, told me yhat they were 89.00 . The treatment USE to bebincluded in my club membership but no longer is. I question whether he damaged my vent tube more than it already was at this point. Plus, he charged zn outrageous amount for the tablet treatment. NOW hd tells md that I need one of the hvac specialist to give me an estimate. But, the other tech who was with him told me it would ptobzbly start at 3000.00 and go up from there! ( club members are SUPPOSE to get discounts!) EVEN IF they gave me a discount it would still be way over priced...like the treatment for algie growth! I got an estimate from another reputable compzny fir 1300.00 to fix and clean all vents! I dropped my Milestone club membership like a hot potato. Dont use Milestone unless you are filthy rich, and want to throw your money out the window! read more

Competent but I agree with other reviews, that they are vastly overpriced compared to competition. As well, every "maintenance" visit turns into an upsell pitch, again with prices that are in the stratosphere. As well, we had a warranty issue, after paying $50k for a system that came with a 10yr warranty. On our most recent call for a control screen that went out, we were told that our warranty was void because we had not completed the required maintenance, or paid them $20/mth for their maintenance plan (we were unaware that we had outstanding maintenance). To add insult to injury, they didn't have any openings to come out to complete the maintenance for 45 days, meanwhile that air conditioning unit is out of service (during the height of summer). Would definitely NOT recommend. read more

They claim to serve 'The Community for God'! Those are their words not mine! They are master scammers! Their only purpose, is to squeeze every dime out of a customer, whether they need the repair or not! They will create a doctored video that claims to show necessary repairs needed! This is false! When you schedule a call, and they tell you there is no charge for visit, they're purposely being deceptive! There will always be a diagnostic fee that they won't initially tell you about. Never hire Milestone. I called to discuss 3 time and was told someone will call me back. They never did. I recently had some electric work done by Milestone and was shocked to get an unexpectedly high bill. I had 8 of the decorative flood lights on the exterior of my home replaced. They were all identical, but 1 cost $400 and 7 cost $300. I also had a dimmer switched replaced for $235. read more

Do not rely on this company. I called the day before for a clog toilet and made an appointment for them to come out. They called the next morning to confirm appointment. At the end of the day I called to make sure they were coming out and was told, sorry we don't work on condo's. The exterior residential leaking water affecting my adjoining residential property was scheduled for repair by Milestone in November of 2025 and was reported by the owner as correctly repaired in January 2026. The leak Milestone reportedly 'repaired' has NEVER been repaired. It is now June of 2026 and my adjoining property has been destroyed from eight months of continuous water damage. Milestone technicians are often seen at the water leak property and consistently leave WITHOUT repairing the leak. Both the property owner and Milestone continue to state that the leak has been repaired. Both parties know that the leak has not been repaired and is destroying my adjoining property. Deliberately damaging property that does not belong to you is known as 'criminal mischief' in Texas and is a criminal violation. Milestone's response has been 'we take care of all of our customers.' Apparently Milestone accepts NO responsibility for making false statements about services that were not provided and caused devastation and destruction to an adjoining property. read more

Wow! Just got hung up on! Made appt, even was signing up for membership the Milestone person was supposed to bring with him. Nearly 30 mins late, so I called, told them they have serviced this over 55 condo Assn and that's how I got their name! But this ISNT the service ot treatment expected! Left me hanging, then hung up. So much for customer care, must be doing well enough drifting money from others they can afford not to have ANY customers!! Guess I got my answer, they just could have owned up to an error or apologized for the delay. Understand life happens! But to be treated like this from Milestone speaks volumes about their leadership, ethics, ans any sense of responsibility. I've never seen a company try so hard to quote you the maximum price. They will literally charge double. And they'll say, "we offer a 5 year warranty, that's why." The warranty is on their work, not the product. Why would they need to charge so much extra to supposedly warranty work they claim is so great? Are they getting called back to repair work all the time? I doubt it, but even if they did they'd find a way to charge you. The only thing I'll say is that the work is good, and the employees are professional. But there are a lot of places out there that do good work for far less money. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND: Unethical Pricing Practices I called Milestone after attempting to fix a leaky shower head myself by replacing the cartridge. The leak persisted (due to a faulty part), so we decided to have a professional take a look. My wife with our 1 year old was home for the appointment. The technician initially quoted her $688 just to replace the cartridge, which I had just done for $70. She called me, and we told him we'd just pay the service fee. Suddenly, the price dropped to $325 (a 53% decrease) and he went ahead and completed the repair. DIY Actual Cost: - Parts: $70 New Cartridge (continued leaking due to faulty new part) - Labor: 20 minutes (easy YouTube video) Milestone Actual Cost: See quote - Initial price: $688 - Final price: $325 (53% less than original quote..) - Actual labor: Technician fixed in under 10 minutes. This experience raises serious concerns about their pricing ethics. A straightforward, quick fix should not come with inflated and inconsistent quotes. Terrible service. First, they tried to sell me HVAC units that I did not need it. I went with another vendor to fix my problem but kept the membership for the maintenance with Milestone. However, they never show up on time. Last week they last minute asked to delay their visit by hours. So I had to reschedule. Now, they called the night before to move the appointment from the afternoon to the morning. When I called to cancel the membership, they just started stalling. I also pay as a member of there so called membership plan which seems to be absolute garbage. I will be going with a local company instead for my long term service. Seems they spend more money on their adds and marketing so they have to inflate charges to keep up with all their expenses. Absolute shit company to deal with. Find local vendors and find business that don't try to take advantage and mark up cost on customers using fear tactics and crappy sales tactics. Talked this morning with a man and told him where I live, in a 55+ community. We have 3 stories on top of the ground floor which is counted as the first floor not ground then 1-4. He was fine with that, then talked with AI phone svc and asked to sign up with the membership and they said the guy who come out will have the form I need to complete. 30 min late, I called and told the female that answered your company has been here before! I answered the questions, this isn't a 4 story bldg its 3! YET they cancelled everything and said 4 stories is too tall. Obviously we have an elevator! But they know that, this is a business that doesnt need any NEW customers! Enough grifting of current customers to pay for their lifestyle!! Look at Tonya L's review from last month! YEAH! Okay good and bad. Nathan Hager is Wonderful! His co worker Luis is also awesome. Both high quality work on my new Garland city approved breakers and box and they did exactly what they said they would do. Nathan went the extra mile persay. The installed the old receptical in the wall behind oven to get new oven stove working. Nathan was back as promised on time three days later to.put new parts in. The work.is incredible. The part I don't care for is out of techs hands! It's the prices. Way high prices. I work extremely hard to maintain my old place and have a home my wife and I can enjoy. The problem is when you advertise often and pay commission that the overhead is so high that you then pass it along to the customer and cause high prices. It's probably should have been 25% less in cost for job done but again prices high. I spent lots of money on new AC and heat unit last year and new washer pipes in wall and now new breakers and box but still high prices. Yes Milestone beat Levy and Sons price on the AC unit by 20% and hight efficiency unit but still not a very big discount on lady job when spending lots I don't have to waste. Trust me, do not ever think about hiring Milestone unless you have extra money laying around to burn. I gave two stars instead of one bc they actually do good work. However, their charges are consistently thousands (yes, thousands!) more than other companies. They will ALWAYS try to upsell you another item, service or repair that you didn't call them out to the house for. ALWAYS. Just spare yourself and avoid this company. They only want your $$$. The plumbers and electricians are trained in sales. Each one is a salesaman. read more

Everything old can be new again when one upgrades their closet fluorescent light. After 27 years the contractor special light was not working. I had changed the blubs several times over the years but this time nothing worked. Checking on the internet showed that the ballast was shot and required more than my personal experience with fixing home electrical appliances to repair. Called Milestone Fri and got choice of appointments for Mon as Sat was taken up. On Mon they called and offered to come earlier which I took advantage of. Problem was quickly resolved as bad ballast and only a few minutes to effect a LED relamp. "Led relamp" refers to relamping with LED bulbs designed to replace existing halogen lamps in fixtures without requiring complete fixture replacement or rewiring. The original light system has been changed to LED now so new blubs won't work in original fixture without changing the ballast to the new tech. Sidenote: the tech checked the circuit box and noted that it should be considered for an upgrade. Internet says circuit boxes should be replaced after 25 to 40 years for all sorts of reasons. We got three quotes good for 90 days to consider making the upgrade. read more

Everyone wants to save a buck, but some electricians are not licensed, and their work doesn't meet code. The electrical panel was initially installed at the construction date of 1985, which increases the risk of serious electrical problems. They made me aware of that without being pushy. read more
