Decided to dine at Milestones for my friend's 21st birthday and I had hoped it would've been a better experience. I chose this restaurant because of the brand image and it was also attached to the hotel we were staying at. I called ahead of time to make reservations for a party of 7 explaining that it was for a birthday and requested it to be a window seat. Upon arrival, we were put away from the windows - which was fine because they explained they did not have a window seat available for a large group. I informed my hostess again of my friend's birthday and she said she would relay it to our server and arrange a sliced birthday cake. After seating, it took a while for the server to come and greet us and to just get waters. Once we ordered the food we waited almost an hour for the food to arrive. During our wait, the manager and chef came to greet us saying that our table was VIP but did not address why our food was taking so long and definitely had no clue why we were "VIP" because he did not know it was a birthday celebration. The food finally arrived and I actually enjoyed the food, all of us did so that was a relief. At the end, the server just asked us if we wanted our bills and was not aware of the birthday. I had to ask the manager again to see if what I was promised could be arranged. He was very kind and delivered a cheesecake for my friend. When our server came back, she said "oh they gave you a cake? how nice of them", which shows until the end she did not know or bother to ask. I appreciate the service from the manager and the other servers that assisted us. As for our main server, I wasn't super thrilled with her service. I would still suggest this restaurant for people that are looking for good food but the service is lacking for the brand expectation and price you're paying. read more

We spent the weekend at the Marriott on the falls. We were tired after a full day of travel and site seeing we ate at the Milestone restaurant. Nicholaus was our server and was great, they do t have unsweet tea on their menu so he made hot tea and put it over ice very much appreciated great service. The food was great and the views are amazing of the horse shoe falls! I recommend giving this place a try especially if Nick is your server. He gave great poutine locations to try!! read more

We were essentially seated and forgotten. Caesar salad was served with lettuce pieces that were brown. The bad pieces were purposely hidden under good pieces. I was super hungry so I ate around them. My colleague also ordered the Caesar salad with steak. His looked better yet was drowning in dressing. Everything was overpriced and underwhelming. It took 1.5 hours for the "experience". On July 26th 2022 Me and my girlfriend went down to this restaurant for dinner. First we order an appetizer of the spinach dip that was good. This is where it goes down hill we ordered 1989 burger and the chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was okay a little dry said my girlfriend. The hamburger I ordered I had no choices on. The main I wanted was a different cheese. I couldn't change that even thoughthey had different cheeses. How to cook it well done is the only why and it was very well done. It came with very little wilted lettuce and a tiny slice of tomato. Only thing that I got a normal amount of is onions that because my girl did not want hers. We went to milestones last night (OCT. 24 2024) for dinner. We were two adults and one child. The child's food was good. He ordered mashed potatoes and steak from the kids menu. Us adults, ordered two dishes. The first one was creamy portobello mushroom chicken. The dish was OK. The chicken was dry, but the creamy mushrooms helped with the dryness. The second dish was the spiced shoyu ramen bowl which was lacking flavor. The salad we ordered as a starter came relatively quick, but the dishes took forever to come out. This is not the reason why we are giving them one star. The reason is that when we received the bill we noticed an extra charge on it. The charge was under L.F. We had to Google what this charge meant and we saw on Google that it is called luxury fee. When we asked the waitress what this meant, she said, it was a local fee and immediately asked if you would like it to be removed. We did not appreciate not being told about this charge in advance. We could've easily missed it. We started wondering how many people paid it without even noticing?!?! The company should be upfront and honest with their customers and either tell them before they sit down or place an extra sign next to the sign in the entrance that is notifying you about their gratuity charge policy. When we travel we seldom eat at the same restaurant twice. We made an exception simply because we were really in unfamiliar territory. Lesson learned however. Both nights faultless service from super friendly waitresses. First night food excellent. But guessing change of kitchen staff tonight. Food not good second night. They did not remove the menu's from the table, we where able to get a "sample" beer courtesy of the hotel...then nothing. A drink was not offered after the 4oz sample. Just had dinner at this location during our stay in Niagara. This was the worst Milestones location we've ever been to. Firstly, the table we were at was not clean. It was sticky. It took a while for the server to come so we cleaned it ourselves. We took water from our glass and wet the paper napkin. I ordered the 10 oz prime rib. The server didn't ask me what side I wanted. I had to tell her that I wanted French fries. My fiancé ordered the beef bolognese. When our orders came, my prime rib was accompanied by mashed potatoes. I waved down a bus boy to get the server. She apologized and fixed the mistake. It didn't take long at all for my dish to come back. However, when my prime rib came back it was cold. I didn't even finish my meal. The prime rib was cold and dry. So disappointing! Finally when the server came back we told her how we were not happy with the prime rib. She apologized and asked if we wanted another one. By then I didn't have the appetite after eating half of it. At the end, she just said sorry and said we could have a dessert on the house. However, at that point we didn't want to be there any longer. I was going to ask to speak to the manager but felt bad. All I know is we are never returning to this location. read more

The overall experience at the restaurant was good as our server was attentive with our orders and especially our allergies. However, the food itself was less then stellar especially for the price it was listed as. The smoked salmon, which I had, was burnt on one side which it should not be as it is to be smoked, not burnt to a crisp and bitter. My family members food came out lukewarm and cold. That being said, we were willing to pay the $200 bill for the five of us but we did express our concerns to our server who promptly took our bill back and got the manager. The manager came out and instead of even once apologizing, started explaining that the grill they used made the salmon that way and that half burnt was how it was supposed to come out. At this point we were unimpressed with the excuses the manager made instead of at the very least apologizing and we paid the bill in full as well as leaving a tip for the server. They have sausage, bacon, home fries, oatmeal, freshly made waffles, scrambled eggs, assorted fruits, muffins, breads you can toast, bagels and cereals. There's also a platter of cheeses and meats. Drink options range from orange juice to cranberry, apple juice and bottomless coffee or tea! Lastly, for any meal here, seats come with a view because of their levels of seating. While staying at the Marriott, we figured we have to try the restaurant downstairs before we leave. So reservations were made and off we went. First of all, THOSE VIEWS! Wow! It is so beautiful being able to eat amazing food while staring out at the scenic, breathtaking waterfalls. We ordered a couple of appetizers and entrees. At the time we were vegetarian, and fortunately their menu did not disappoint. They definitely did not lack vegetarian and gluten free options. The pasta dish was my favourite. It had these amazing cherry tomatoes, that just burst with crazy flavors the second you bit down on them. Delectable. Oh and the chocolate hazelnut mousse was ravishing. Really. I look forward to going back only so that I can get some more of that. My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for a few reasons. 1. It seems like 90% of restaurants in The Falls are either steakhouses, buffets or crappy chains and we weren't interested in those. 2. It was across the street from our hotel. And we were feeling lazy. I must say, I'm really glad we did! We were super impressed. The atmosphere was classy and modern but we were totally ok in our jeans. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive the whole time. The restaurant also smelled incredible when we walked in. They were running a "date night" deal which sounded great although we did not partake in it. Its a 3 course menu (one app, 2 entrees and a dessert) for $50. Definitely a good deal if you're looking to linger for a while. I believe it was only available on Wednesdays but I could be wrong. I decided on the Thai Basil Noodles for $22. It was AMAZING. Seriously delicious. It also had chicken and prawns in it, all tossed in an incredible coconut curry type sauce. We order Thai food a lot and I just say this was among the best I've had. Needless to say, it was devoured. My husband ended up with the classic burger which is pretty much exactly what he got except amped up a little. All of their burgers are made with prime rib. Honestly I couldn't tell the difference but I will say that it was nice and juicy and very well seasoned. It was served on a brioche style bun, (we're big brioche fans) with a side of very tasty fries. The only reason why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they advertise having prime rib, which is one of my husband's favorite dishes and he had his heart set on a big, fat 14oz-er! The menu did say "limited available- check with your server" so I guess we can't be THAT upset that they didn't have it. What we were really bummed about is that they didn't just run out of it, they apparently altogether stopped serving it during the week. Our sweet server had neglected to mention this and when my husband tried to order it and she told us the news he was crushed. (He REALLY wanted prime rib). We just wished they had been upfront with us about the menu change before he got his hopes up! Whenever we're back in The Falls we'll definitely keep this place in mind but we'll probably call ahead next time to double check on the prime rib status! read more

We just arrived in Niagara falls at the Marriott an decided to go to milestone. They def had unique choices for a chain restaurant . Something i havent seen in a US chain restaurants. we started with the goat cheese with naan bread which happened to be very good. although i must say the roasted garlic that came with the app looked like it was sitting out for awhile. The grilled Mediterranean chicken was good very well prepared very bright and fresh. the wild pacific coho salmon was delicious in a soy an seasame sauce with jasmine rice. the chicken masala was very good not spicy and had a hint of fruitiness from the mango chutney over all a great first dinner. Didn't actually make it in there because they would not serve us because; 1) We had a baby in our group 2) they had room but not enough staff 3) They just like being difficult 4) They knew that we had vouchers for discount dinner. We had vouchers from the Marriott that it is attached to and it was completely usless because they could not / would not serve us at all. I make an annual trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. There are 2 Marriott hotels on Fallsview Blvd. While I always stay in the Fallsview Marriott, I have twice ventured over to the "other" Marriott to dine at Milestones Restaurant. My first experience several years ago was perfection! My visit a few weeks ago was extremely disappointing. It began when we waited almost 10 minutes for a host to come and seat us. Once seated we waited for more than 15 minutes for a server to visit our table. It only occurred after we found another employee and asked them to get our server. The most bizarre part of this experience was that the restaurant was nearly empty. Both my mom and I ordered the Caprese Crispy Chicken Sandwich. My mom had hers with fries and mine was served with a caeser salad. The sandwiches were tasty but the sides were unimpressive. I will say that while the service was awful and the meal was just, ok, the decor is modern and inviting. In spite of that, I'm not sure that we'll be back to Milestones during our next to Niagara Falls. read more

This place is a nightmare. The only good thing about it is the view. Ordered two steak dinners - both steaks were overcooked, chewy and tasteless. The stuffed baked potato tasted weird and was covered in orange cheddar with a weird texture. Side of veg was mostly half cooked red onions with a chunk of pepper thrown in. My 7 year old ordered the sliders. We laughed when his meal arrived - they actually cut a pre-made burger patty in 4 and used 2 quarters of it to make his mini burgers. They couldn't even cut them into a round shape so it wasn't so obvious! Anyhow, even he didn't eat all his meal because the burger was "gross". It was - I tried it. I've never seen this kid refuse a burger - ever. Service was slow and our server didn't even ask why we ate so little of our meals. We didn't complain because we had a $25 voucher from the hotel and I was trying to keep our little family getaway a positive experience. I enjoyed the wine! And the dessert because I would bet my last dollar it wasn't made by the restaurant! (except the piece of mint they topped it with had a bunch of brown spots!) Do not waste your time or money here and don't be sucked in by the hotel voucher. Stick to the Keg when in Niagara Falls - atleast you know it will be consistent. read more

We went here because it was a massive snowstorm when we were visiting. PROS In the hotel we were staying at=not having to worry about the frigid temps outside Amazing service. My husband wanted Steam Whistle and they dont have it but the bar downstairs does...they got it for him! Pretty good food. The spinach and artichoke app was meh. The portabello chicken was good...kind of reminded me of stroganoff sauce. The chicken penne was also pretty good.
