Boba 5 minutes away from home is going to be dangerous for SURE. I've been eyeing this place waiting for them to open whenever I go to the Asian market next door. When I saw it was open, I made sure to check it out right away. It's a fairly large space with a lot of available seating. It was really empty but I went at noon on a Wednesday. I'm sure it will be busier when people start realizing it's open. Their menu wasn't anything crazy. A decent amount of flavors. I had to ask for some of their specialty ones. I wish it had some kind of description for them because I hate asking what each drink's flavor is when their names are pretty vague. By recommendation, I ended up getting the Starwars and the Jasmine milk tea for me. I scanned the menu hoping they had Thai tea which is a pretty regular tea in most places but it doesn't look like they offer it. Strange. While the drinks were being made, I scanned the room and saw they're planning on getting a ramen vending machine. Pretty cool. I've never actually seen one in person before so im already curious and wanting to come back when they have it. They also have a selection of board games to play so you can drink or eat while playing. My drinks came out fairly quickly. I was the only one there with three workers behind the counter. I'm sure that helped lol. The starwars was okay. I'm not big on fruity drinks but the person I got it for loved it. They said it was refreshing and the stars inside were really cute. The jasmine tea was good too. Not a lot of boba inside. I'll be sure to ask for extra when I come back. Price is decent. Their regular size is a normal places large. And their large size is ginormous. I wish they had a smaller size for when I come with the kiddos. I really don't like them having that big of a drink. Was in the area and found this cute milk tea boba shop. ( wish there was a boba emoji in my iPhone! ) I drink A LOT , I mean seriously a lot of milk so, can tell that the it's made with fresh REAL tea and the boba were the perfect texture with the right about of softness and chewiness. It was delicious and I would definitely go back. I got the jasmine green milk tea. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the instant ramen machine. I get a lot of ramen, probably more so than drinking boba, but the soup was flavorful, noodles perfectly cooked, and there was a lot of tender meats as well. Their drinks are nice and refreshing! I ordered a Lychee Green Tea with less sugar and it was still quite sweet. Very refreshing on a summer day! The mango boba is also a unique topping that not a lot of other milk tea shops have. The texture was more similar to agar/white pearls when compared to tapioca pearls. Overall, a nice boba shop! I happened to see it on my way to the County Square Market next door. Very clean looking inside with limited seating. The idea is that you create your own boba by selecting items off the menu. They have a pretty delicious looking options so I decided to order something called Alien tonic. Best described as sour green apple italian soda...and I added boba. It was so delicious! Came here early on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't see any signage about how many people they were allowing inside at a time but I saw a lady standing by the door who said that her daughter was inside and we couldn't go in because there were too many people inside. I saw 3 customers in there at the time so I waited until a couple people left and went in. There were 2 people working, but things were going a little slow. They did seem to be actually working though and not ignoring customers. I went into this worried about a wait so I placed my order, went shopping at the market next door, and came back to pick up. The staff warned me about a slight wait if there were a bunch of people inside when I returned but it ended up not being a problem. We ordered popcorn chicken and got it spicy, a classic milk tea 50% sweet with boba, and a roasted milk tea 25% sweet with egg pudding. We didn't find the spicy chicken to be really spicy, just had some kick. It was dark meat, some pieces a little dry but overall pretty tasty. I default don't like my drinks very sweet so I tend to order them with minimal sugar. Per the guy at the counter, honey roasted milk tea has honey and is a little sweeter than the roasted milk tea so I went without the honey. Unfortunately I couldn't taste the roasted factor at all really and my drink mostly tasted like milk. Would definitely order this particular drink sweeter next time if I feel like giving it another chance. Last time I was here, I did get a lychee green tea 25% sweet and that was really good--definite lychee flavor and a little sweeter than my milk tea. Husband says that the milk tea "tastes like boba." I had a sip and didn't think there was a strong tea flavor at all, but the boba was at least still soft even after sitting in our fridge for a couple hours. Haven't had much boba in the area other than Peace, Love & Boba. While MTL isn't the best on flavor, will definitely be coming back because of the tasty fruity teas, good topping selection, ability to customize sweetness and ice, staff was friendly, they have food available, and they're conveniently next to County Square Market. I also felt pretty safe. Staff had masks and gloves on, hand sanitizer was available, card or phone app payment only (no cash), and masks required for customers. Decided I wanted some boba after I went shopping. Stopped at this milk tea lab location in Vacaville and the worst location by far for boba and customer service. Price: they have two different size options, one regular size and one large size. About $4-$6 per drink. Not bad Customer service: HORRIBLE. For one it's a very very small shop. I think it'd be best if they only allowed 3 people in due to Covid restrictions being 6 feet apart. When I came in there were about 4 families in there waiting for their drinks. It was chaotic since I didn't know where the line started or who was waiting for their drinks or I was just standing there in a full crowd. While I was looking at the menu that's in super small print, one of the workers started yelling at me trying to get my attention because she didn't like how my mask was(I was wearing it correctly) I guess she didn't like the kind of mask it was. This worker was a younger female with very short black or brown hair. She was very rude right off the bat. So I went out and got another mask. Then I'm ready to order my drinks and a guy comes from the back and starts my order. I asked him what a certain ingredient looked like and I kid you not he looks me in the eye and says "there's a picture right up there" & the picture he pointed to was at the very top of the wall which was the size of my pinky. LIKE HOW CAN I EVEN SEE THAT.... even if I could see that I wouldn't have asked what the ingredient looked like. Then I'm ready to pay and I pull out cash and he says "there's signs everywhere in this shop that says we don't accept cash" OH I'm sorry sir I didn't realize I needed to look at every window and wall before I enter your boba shop.. mind you, there were two signs posted. He acted like there were 10 signs posted everywhere. & I replied with "where are the signs at" he then said right below you at your knee area. MY KNEE AREA ???? Like I'm gonna be looking that low when I come up and order. Maybe put your signs up higher so people can actually read it or even post it on the front door.. not on the far right wall where no one looks. He responded very rudely and not professional at all. He was a tall light skin male. Not that race matters, but I didn't get their names, and this is was he looked like to me. I also posted the picture of the sign that was super low. I am quite disappointed in the service at this location. I have gone to this location many times hoping my experience will become better but it has not. First time I went, I waited nearly 1 hour for my popcorn chicken. It was not even busy when I was waiting. However, I look over and see an employee sitting down and eating a nice freshly cooked batch of popcorn chicken. When I went over to ask the employee where my order was they said it is not ready yet. Second time I went, everyone was hiding in the back and no one was in the front helping customers order. Their ube milk is my favorite on their menu and I get the grass jelly, lychee and honey boba in it. I've visited this place a few times to see if they gotten better and to my disappointment the drinks are still way to watered down. There was absolutely no flavor in the taro, coconut, and Thai milk teas. However, the large cup size and food is a bonus. I just hope they improve their drinks in the future. Customer service on the other hand, needs improvement because there was one particular individual who wore glasses that rolled her eyes at me because I asked if she could smash the egg custard in my drink. Maybe they need some customer service lessons from the store next door. Although shout out to Angie and Kevin with the great customer service and warm welcome, that definitely made up for my previous bad experience that I had. Excited to try this place out. Their drinks are definitely on the pricier side, but their regular looked like a large (in my opinion). I got their Roasted Milk Tea with boba which is made with oolong tea. I tend to get 30% sweetness, as the boba usually compensate with its own sweetness. However, I noticed the boba here aren't sweetened. So my drink ended up kind of bland, but I didn't mind because it accentuated the tea's flavor. Then we ordered their #1 - also made of oolong tea, but with grass jelly and no modification. It was sweet and full of flavors. Plus, they don't skimp our on toppings. They have an interesting menu, but kind of limited and I wished they wound list out what the drink consist of on their menu screen. I personally hate holding up a line just to ask what's in the drink. We noticed the service was kind of slow and they forgot to modify my drink the first time around. They were apologetic, but it didn't bother us. After all, they recently opened and probably still figuring out the flow. Verdict: We'll definitely come back and give them another try.
