This is my favorite boba spot in Vacaville. Their milk teas aren't too thick but also not too watery. Their other fruity drinks have a very natural flavor to it, not too artificial but definitely flavorful. My favorite drink is the cupid tonic, it's amazing. I would like to note that their food is also really good, I recommend the takoyaki. Theres also this worker there with short curly hair, shes really nice, always has something nice to say and gets my order right each time. 5 stars to her and the whole shop. read more

My experience here was horrible. I waited over 20 minutes for 4 drinks and one fried calamari. Not only that, the person on the phone was rude and in a rush since it was 6pm and that close at 7pm. My drinks were diluted witch was my tipping point. I get that they're about to close and they're all waiting to go home, it still no excuse to make disgusting drinks that I couldn't go back and ask to be remade. Once again updating my review after a little break from coming here. My most recent trip was sincerely the best I've had, better than even my original review. I don't know what personnel changes the management made, but the customer service was friendly and most of al incredibly quick! The usual wait for getting two drinks for me is usually 25 minutes, 35 at the worst. Yesterday, it took about 3 minutes to get two drinks! I got a Thai tea with honey boba for a friend and a mango milk tea with lychee jelly and mango stars. The mango milk tea is my go to and it was absolutely perfect. One thing they could improve on, however is the stamp system. I have a rewards number with them, and I wish the employee was a little more diligent in turning the ipad so I could punch in my number. When I left I wasn't sure if she gave me my stamps. It's not a big deal, but if I'm going here frequently, I do wish to get my stamps. It's just a small thing that I think could really help. But, overall, my experience was great and I think whatever change they made is really working! read more

Came in wanting to love this place but found it rather hard due to costumer service. The young girl was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable to order. She wasn't friendly and rolled her eyes when I asked questions about the menu. They weren't busy so I don't know what the inconvenience was about. The music was so inappropriate as well, do not recommend for younger children. I should've checked out yelp before coming. I see many people have trouble with costumer service here. I'm so excited to FINALLY find a nearby place that has ube flavored milk tea! Flavor-wise, it's a little bit on the lighter side, but it was also really creamy, so no complaints here! Also, I tried their express ramen machine. It was my first time trying anything like it. Luckily, there was no one else there so there wasn't a long wait. One of the workers was actually there maintaining the machine and helped me out with it, she was super nice! Even gave me a breakdown on what to expect and gave me a recommendation. It was actually done pretty quick! I ordered the black garlic tonkotsu ramen. Came out in less than a minute. When I took it out, I noticed the bottom was still cold, so I left it alone for a bit because I took it to-go and was driving home. When I finally opened it, it was the perfect temperature. There's a plastic covering under the lid to keep it hot and everything in place. I was quite shocked at how flavorful it was! I wasn't expecting restaurant quality, but it's pretty close. Definitely a huge leap from instant ramen. The noodles were exactly how I prefer my noodles cooked (not too firm, not too soft), and the pork had a nice flavor. Will be coming here more often for a quick ramen fix and trying out other drink flavors. read more

My mom and I were so excited to try this place and see what they had to offer. Our excitement quickly faded once we tried the drinks here. My mom coming from Taiwan, the place where boba was in fact created, knows a thing or two about what a good drink is. This was the opposite. She had gotten a lychee tea with lychee jelly and boba and I got the mango lover. We were so incredible disappointed. Her tea tasted nothing like lychee, as if she was drinking a bottle of floral perfume, and the jelly was hard. My drink was super bland and the mango jelly at the bottom was also incredibly hard. All in all, I would say pass on this place and go somewhere else in town. Our favorite place is just across the street. It's called Cafe 137 and their boba is really good and actually has flavor. Drinks are good, food is good- depending on who's working is what you'll get. They have drinks that aren't on the menu that should be such as smoothies/snow bubble. We're here all the time & the girls who work here always have an attitude or seem to hate their job. There's a taller, darker oriental girl with long black hair & she is always unpleasant. There's two other smaller and shorter oriental girls and they're hit and miss- depends on what kind of day they're having and that's the attitude you'll get. Cafe 137 is always my go to spot but the chicken at MTL is better in my opinion, but I'm the kind of customer that'll take good service over food quality. I'd rather give me money to people who deserve it...such as 137, everybody there is always happy and personable; I've never experienced anybody rude there even on a busy summer day. read more

Milk tea lab opened up right next door to County Square Market! I was excited, but ended up being quite disappointed. The milk tea is average at best. It tasted very watered down. I may occasionally have it while I grocery shop, but definitely not something I'll drive out for. The shop is small, but doesn't feel squished. For a classic drink, it took a good 5+ minute to get. The impending vending machine ramen dispenser sounds intriguing, but I feel like I shouldn't get my hopes up for it. read more

My family loves Milk Tea Lab! This is my favorite local boba place! They have a great selection of drinks and toppings. They brew their teas fresh from actual tea leaves. You can adjust the sweetness level to your liking. They have a wide variety of toppings. I personally love the egg pudding because it's not too sweet. Their honey boba is never stale and hard. The staff there is energetic and friendly. They work really hard and are knowledgeable when you have questions about the menu. They hustle when it's busy. I've become a regular because I'm always happy with my drinks and experience. Oh so unfortunately, I started trying other things that weren't the #1 and I think most of the flavors are powder-based and tastes obviously so. I stopped coming here, but if I did, I would only come back for their roasted oolong. Still better than the rest of the surrounding boba shops because of this drink, but not by much so I'll leave them at 4 stars. In the bay area or elk grove, this would not fly imo. Tried their boba finally as well and it was disappointing. For me, a good boba should be slightly sweet and flavorful in order to complement an unsweet milk tea. The dark color of boba should be coming from brown sugar, but this boba is flavorless like most places. read more
