The two caused a bit of heartburn for me so might keep that in mind if I were to ever try their options that are actually advertised as spicy. Minor gripe - ordered a diet Pepsi that never came. In the atrium there is also a 'take out' window where you order and sit in the outdoor space. We opted to eat in the atrium, which was very nice (good thing, the wait for indoors was 1 hour). We ordered a large cheese pizza with roasted red peppers. We also got two side dishes; the Meatballs and the Roasted Beets. The cheese pizza was delicious - a crispy, tasty crust with plenty of red peppers to enhance the flavor and texture. The meatballs were excellent! In a rich tomatoey marinara, they were tender and so tasty! Last, but not least, the Roasted Beets - sweet, rich and tender beets, on a bed of arugula and covered with chunks of rich tangy feta and pistachios, all of which are bathing in a dreamy pomegranate vinaigrette! The meal was splendid and I'm sure when I revisit Pittsburgh, we'll be going to AVP at Bakery Sq.!

While the free parking lot can be full (and limits to an hour), the Bakery Square parking garage with a few hours of free parking makes driving here to eat easy.

Ambiance - they can do a better job in making the place cleaner Food - philly cheese steak is decent, excellent jalapeno poppers, pizza acceptable, milk shake needs tons of improvement - overall, I am not impressed with their food if I am going to compare it with the kosher restaurants in Boston, Baltimore, NJ and NY. Service - it depends on who are the crew. I've seen some staff that gave horrible service. Won't even call your name for your order audible enough for you to hear it. I ordered twice for pick up and the lady on the phone was nice and my order was ready on the time they promised. But beware on pick up order, make sure you tell them if you need utensils and napkins if you need it otherwise, they wont care giving you one. The management should improve the skills of their employees read more
