The food was good in a very real sense, but never exceptional. The restaurant made attempts to pair interesting sauces and layers to the various vegetable appetizers, but none of them came across as exceptional. The artichokes were good, and maybe my favorite from among the sides. The greek salad was a standout favorite for the freshness of ingredients and coherence of the dressing. That felt like a win. The pizza was good but not exceptional. We ordered a few slices to try them out, and the crust was legitimately top notch for the style. Any toppings were just okay, and the variety of slices available for order was disappointing. I would have aimed for a little more red sauce on the plain slice, but I understand the tradeoffs there.
