First of all, the facility is very secure and I feel very comfortable storing my things there and being on the property even at night. Each renter has their own individual entrance code to get beyond the gate and to take the elevator. The elevator will only take the renter to their individual floor, adding another layer of security. Another cool thing is that on many of their units the door is on the wide side of the unit (e.g., for a 10 x 5, the door is on the 10' side) which makes it really easy to access your stuff without having to take a bunch of stuff out. When I first started storing there I worked mostly with Tiffany, the manager. She provided great customer service and was always willing to go the extra mile to answer questions and provide me with additional information. On top of that she is very friendly and positive and it makes for great interactions with her. I recently began working with Scott, the assistant manager, when I needed to upgrade to a bigger storage space. I wasn't sure what size I needed and I was in a time crunch, so I was frazzled and indecisive but was so grateful that Scott was so patient and helpful. He was very understanding and worked to make the transition go smoothly even with all my indecisiveness. He really went the extra mile to find me a solution to my expanded storage needs that was close to my current storage space and without incurring a lot of extra costs. I am really grateful for his help during this stressful time. I also had the pleasure of working with Colby, who was in training when I met him. He presented as very knowledgeable and personable and was very willing to help provide a great customer experience. Thank you to all of you!

Everyone is hurting in today's economy, but these guys have no qualms about raising your rent time after time after time. We have paid our rent diligently for several years (at least five, but I'm unsure of the exact number). We pay on time every time and we've never been late. That doesn't matter to them. I don't know the exact measurements of our unit, but it's not a big one. I think it's 7x10. The advertised price for a 7.5 x 10 unit is $82 right now. It feels like a grift to me! The benefits of this place (security and cleanliness) are not worth the price. If you are going to get a storage unit, don't get one here unless you want to be faced with unending rent increases.

However when looking at the pictures I happily noticed a familiar ever-so kind family of faces in front of the gates with the banner in the background saying Papa's lockers like i remembered it before. If it is still the same owner / managers of the once named Papa Lockers as before, & if still the "Ma & Pa" of which you can see pictured out in front of a gate with the pups and the name banner behind them)- well then, i can assure you fully that you'll never find a better place to do buisness! Your stuff will be safe and youll find comfort in knowing this from day one! I stored with this family uber Papa Lockers DBA years ago for many years and i honestly can tell you this: they literally saved me time an time and time again. Many times my stuff could have been auctioned but instead they worked with me they helped me figure out a plan and get back on track they locked me out when i really feel behind but they never sold my stuff and they could have. I was honest with them about every single up and down with my health and lay off. Was truthful and they did more than they ever needed to help me not loose the last remaining part of my normal life before all of the bad began that made it hard to keep up on my bill . Eventually I was able to get my bill right and move my things out and I hope I never forget . They're kindness gave me so much more than I can explain in just a Yelp . I have never since met such a kind and caring person in business. I owe them so much keeping my stuff truly safe and remaining mine. They saved me little bits at a time in a way that continuously keeps on from their faith shown *not just in myself, but towards the good that they manage to spot inside all people! During 4 years of renting with a small storage facility, Chain Lake Storage, in Monroe, WA, my rental rate was only increased 2 x's at a fair, reasonable amount. The staff there were very accessible and super great people to work with. Glacier West advertises a lower rate on line to lure customers in then seems to employ a bait and switch scam, it appears to me, to up rates months later. I think 1 year or more to increase rates 5% max is fair and reasonable to deal with inflation. Not 10.9% 6 months into leasing.

I had a unit for a year or so, since Judy was no longer in the office the young man working there…read morecalled me and told me my unit had been broken into so come and see if anything is missing. When I got there I was shocked I couldn't believe how much of my stuff was missing, my unit had been so full you couldn't even walk in it, now there's a whole lot of room to walk around. I asked the man in the office what they had on the cameras because they had to make multiple trips in and out to steal so much stuff, he said there was nothing out of the ordinary, how were they able to get thru the main gate and then have the code to get in the building and make multiple trips without being noticed? They told me my unit was the only one broken into, that same day when at my unit a man came to his unit which was down a few from mine, he had to have the lock cut off, he said he had been there the previous week and his unit had a different lock so it had to be cut off he was missing half of his belongings, he then put a new lock on it he was there to empty his unit once again he had to have the lock cut off when he opened his unit it was completely empty. So I had been lied to my unit was not the only one broken into. I believe this was an inside job I find it hard to believe that someone could make so many trips in and out and not be noticed. I do not recommend this storage facility. I feel that more units were broke into but they were also told they were the only one.
