Manager is very rude!! Went and successfully got a LEMON! The car threw a check engine light in less than 24 hours and the manager was very unwilling to help with the problem. He sent us to his mechanic, and all he did was clear the code and sent us on our way. Of course after a drive cycle, the light turned back on. Not only did this dealership sell us a truck with multiple issues. But they also sold us a truck that was never imported from Canada and we are unable to sell/trade it unless we go thru the import process, this should have been disclosed to us. First time I came, they were repossessing a car and had someone yelling outside in the ally. Because of this they cut my test drive short. They were kind, Jose and finance were nice, they invited me back the next day. Next day we ended up with a sales individual who had just started and he was kind, but was for some reason removed and replaced by another gentlemen. This sales guy was sassy, unknowledgeable (was rude when we asked why the engine light was on and didn't know), and ended up cursing at us for asking questions. I've never been so disgusted by any business transaction in my life. Had to be there but in terms the cars they sell are questionable at best. I bought a car there it still works. I purchased a 2nd car things went wrong left n right. I was put into another car with new transmission well couple months it goes out. Now the dealership MSA is fighting with mechanic about who will fix it. I was put in 2018 as a loaner after wk the put me in 06 Taurus wiper wasn't there (rainy weather) duct tape in window car makes noise, to use. It broke down now I am left with nothing. MSA hangs up on me Lance is AZ Karmelle sick at home. My car still sitting not getting done. NEVER BUY FROM THEM! I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER CAR FROM THEM. Went to look at a Dodge Challenger with 1050 miles that was advertised. Come to find out that the manager used it as his personal vehicle and was racing around in it. There was a lot of garbage in it as it looked liked someone owned for quite a while. It currently had 3600 abused miles on it. They do not inspect or repair their vehicles. I would be very hesitant to ever buy an abused car from this dealer. They are not trustworthy. read more

DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE!!!! They sold us a Ford Explorer Sport Trac that had a blown head gasket. Their mechanic couldn't figure out why cylinder 1 and 2 kept misfiring. They replaced all the plugs, wires, spark pack, and injectors. Of course if they would have bothered to look at the spark plugs or rather smell them they would have seen/ smelled the antifreeze on them.Took it to Ford and after a little work found that blown head gasket. it's going to cost $1700 to fix the head gasket and $3000 it they head is cracked or warped. They also found that someone had use Stop Leak on the engine as well. And you want to know what these shady characters answered to all this was sold as is and have a nice day. Very Smug about the whole deal. i'll be posting this on all avenues of social media, yelp, BBB, and filing a complaint with the DMV about this dealership. Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from these people and warn others about them. So i've finally got this car in proper shape now. Of course it is now $7000 later. After getting the truck looked at by many places i decided to take the truck to Hi Tech Automotive, They found the head gasket on the passenger side was blown and the heads had to be milled as well. While they had the engine out they found that the passenger side timing chain guide was broken and the other one was worn out. i had them perform all the work needed.Took them 2 weeks but came out perfect. They told me that the engine had stop leak in it. When i got it home from this repair i replaced the radiator, water pump, and thermostat housing to get rid of the parts affected by the stop leak. The truck was also having a problem with the power train control module. The truck would flash a wrench symbol on the dash when going up a hill if you floored it. it would loose power and the transmission would start to shift all weird. Turns out the PCM was bad, needed to be replaced and the new one reprogrammed. Probably the most absurd part about all this is this dealer promised me that they would take care of the belt squeal and they couldn't even get that fixed because through all this the squeal still persists. read more

Submitted an application online, putting $0 down, was called the same day and was asked when I was coming to look at it, get it. I specifically asked was I approved for a loan and everything? I was told yes it was all taken care only to drive all the way there from Yerington to be told the vehicle wasn't the it was having the transmission replaced and that yeah I was aporoved but they wanted money down. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed as I was told on the phone everything was approved and taken care of. If I submitted an application that was for $0 down and I was told I was approved I shouldn't have to put money down, because you approved the application I submitted. read more

I would be very careful in dealing with these guys. Dan the sales person and Dan the finance guy both told me the little white stickers on all thier cars for sale that read, "90 day warranty" meant that if "ANYTHING" should go wrong with the powertrain would be fully covered. I played back that statement several time to both of them and I repeatedly got a "YES" answer. So I left thinking I had gotten a fair deal on a 2007 Nissan Xterra that I paid full retail for. Here is the kicker. Two days later the transmission failed with an estimated cost of $6500 to fix. So I called up Mill Street and filled them in only to be told they would cover nothing because I didn't take it to their perferred shop. (Valley Transmission) The warranty is limited and would not cover anything anyway because it must have been broken when I purchased it in order for it to break so soon after purchase, so at that point I was SOL. So I got back on the phone with Richard at General Transmission where the vehicle now sits getting repaired and filled him in. Coincidentally, Richard at General and the owner of Valley Transmission(preffered shop of Mill Street Auto) have been good friends for many years. So they hashed it all out and later that day I received a call from Richard at General Transmission stating they had reached a compromise. He has somehow lowered the price to $3700.00 from $6500.00. At first I thought this was great. And he tells me the same work will be done for thousands less. Is this really how the world works? We will see. But Richard claims the same warranty will be given. Two years full 100% parts and labor. if ANYTHING should go wrong with the parts replaced or repaired. And Mill Street Auto will pick up half the bill which leaves me with a $2000.00 bill on a vehicle two days old. Fair? Not exactly. But if this is the best I can do, then what choice do I have? Only choice is not ever to set foot inside the doors of Mill Street Auto. Their crooks plain and simple trying to make a customer happy by paying half the bill. Then I get a call from Dan the sales man who said I did a very mean and nasty thing by posting the first Yelp review. So I tole Dan I would post this update. Dan still claims that he nor anyone else ever told me that the warranty would cover 100% of the costs in the first place. And come to find out, the fine print clearly outlines the coverage on the back of the warranty form that they kept hidden from me after I signed the front. So sure, its my bad for not looking all the paperwork over and trusting a used car salesman even though he is a retired ex-cop. I guess I am the real idiot here for even thinking anyone in the used car business would be honest. So if you took the time to read this review and your thinking of purchasing a vehicle from these guys, please do yourself a favor and take it slow, read it all through with a magnifying glass and have the vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic of your choice. Beware of these crooked crooks! I bought a 03 trailblazer from them for $7500 only to have major problems with it less than 2 weeks of owning it. Went back 4 times in 2 months to have them make it right and still ended up paying an extra $2300 to have all the problems fixed because the "warranty" they gave me didn't cover anything! When they saw the vehicle at a nearby shop, the crooked salesman (literally, the guy can't even stand straight) told me to come back and they would put me in something else, and I quote, "for no extra cost to me" because they felt bad... after looking at ALL THEIR VEHICLES (most of which had alignment problems or had been through minor accidents), I decided on something else only to have the manager tell me they were going to take the trailblazer back as a trade in and I'd still owe them another $4000 on the replacement... I would make this no stars if I could. I went in to look at a new vehicle and after 5 minutes on the lot by myself I decided to go inside and see if someone will help me as I did a giant German Shepherd came charging at me barking ferociously. I about had a heart attack as the owner told me he only barks. after I gain my composure I went to look at cars of which 2 of the three I looked st wouldn't start. The ditsy girl said it's because they don't get started very often. She seemed like she was under the influence of something and the other salesman she had me talk to didn't seems much better. so, once again i have been dooped by mill street auto. i have and so have countless other people done buisness here and have been treated with no respect what so ever. this id my 3rd month since i bought a vehicle from these people and they still refuse to answer my calls. i have left message after message for dan brown ( the guy who sold me the car) and have still not been reached back yet. even left a few messages at his office. i called today only to be herassed and told if i have problem with what they have done to me i can try and sew them. i cant not say i have done buisness with such a poor customer service oriented company than this one. bought a truck for 12 grand and already am having to spend another 3 grand to make it road worthy again. if you are not into rebuilding your newly bought vehicle, then i suggest staying completely away from MILL STREET AUTO. read more

In this review, I will explain my experience with Mill Street Auto. It might be long but definitely worth reading before you go. I will not be malicious, I will just tell you the truth. In October of 2014, I went their in hopes they could help me since my credit was not ideal. When I went there I was greeted by Bob who was very nice and helpful. He ended up selling me a 1999 Hyundai Elantra. Within the first few hours of owning the vehicle I noticed it was leaking oil. I called them and he was really nice about it asked me to bring in the vehicle back in and they would fix the problem. At that time I was working 2 jobs so their mechanic told me to drop off my car after my first job and he would take me to my second job and have the car back to me before I got off at 9PM. When I got off no one was there to get me, they didn't even call me to tell me they had to keep it. The next day I was really upset but they gave the car back to me and when I got it home I noticed not only was it still leaking oil, it was also now leaking coolant. Long story short I brought it back 3 times and every time it came back with the problem unresolved so I gave up. The car was literally falling apart after that. The brakes were also bad when I bought it as well. So in February of 2015 I went back in fed up. I talked to a newer guy there Bill, who was honestly just amazing he did everything he could to help me and I honestly don't think what happened next had anything to do with him. He was able to get me into a 2005 ford escape hybrid for the same cheap payments I had with the other car. I owned that car, once again, for less then a week when the service soon light came on. I took it to get serviced but they couldn't figure out how to reset the light and told me to head to the ford dealership because they would know. Heading there the light turned off and stayed off. The next day I turned the car on and the light came on again, then the check engine light, then the car said "safety, prepare to stop" and completely shut down. This time I was hesitant and didn't want to take it to Mill Street Auto again due to my last experience I had with them "fixing" cars. Long story short it turns out that it was the battery, Throttle body, AC wiring, and the coolant pump that went out. I talked to Bill and he was doing everything he could to help me and told me to come in and we will talk to the owner Terri together. I went in and Terri was rude saying well you bought it as is and didn't take it here so we could fix it. I told him I would be speaking to the DMV as this is the second car from them that broke down in a week and walked out. A few minutes later Bill called he assured me this time he would send it out to get fixed this time. I thought about it and agreed because it would have been a $1500 fix. They ended up having to send it to ford to be fixed because it was a hybrid. I am not angry, they did do the right thing by fixing it but at the same time it is kind of obvious that they do not do proper inspections on the vehicle when they come in. I am not saying don't go there, just be warned that if you do, don't be surprised when it breaks down after a week. And hey, when life gives you lemons just hope you can trade it in. read more
