Bait and switch is all i have to say. Tried to pay the exact price for a car as listed on their site and they flat out refused. Wanted thousands of dollars in misc fees and BS add-ons. On a Kicks! Who pays $2500 markup on an econobox in 2026? This place is insane. I think they are trying to take advantage of low credit customers and hiding everything in the payment while advertising a completely false price online. This place should be investigated. Maybe if i have some spare time this month i will look into who i can report this to. They tried to pull out the 1998 sleazeball car salesman tactics on me. Didn't work. What makes it even more crazy is how bad Nissan is struggling right now, and yet they make it so hard just to buy their product. We made an appointment 2 weeks ago for a factory recall. As scheduled we drove 40 miles in 2 cars. We were told by Nissan customer service the recall would be about 45 minutes. We arrived a bit early. The staff were very friendly. The service person took all of our information and our keys. He informed us 4-6 hours. What?‍. We decided we had already driven this far, let's go to breakfast and discuss our now very long wait options. Thankfully, the service person had the brilliant idea to check stock for the part. SURPRISE!!! we don't have the part. . So... we scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance, drove 2 cars 40 miles and, sorry, we didn't order the part‍ They are going to order the part and call it when it arrives. Then.... Bought a car from them and everything was good. I received a letter that they were exercising their right because they have not secured financing. I have excellent credit and it took them 3 weeks to get it straightened out. I have never had this problem before. I got so frustrated I told them I would just return the car. The fleet manager hung up on me three times. It took them 3 weeks to get the financing done. I have excellent credit . The finance manager did apologize to me, and I appreciate it. The fleet manager never did say anything to me other than hanging up on me. I have never had this problem before and I have bought many of new cars. read more

I'd give their service department 5 stars, I would have given the sales department a higher score, but after receiving several attempts to get us to trade in our 2025 Rouge SL, that's not two years old with around 12k miles, their saying it's value is approximately $19k, the MSRP was almost $48k, not sure how their math works, but if that's how they run their business, they'll never sale me a vehicle again and I recommend steering clear of a dealership that would try to screw someone out of their hard earned money. We traded in a 2021 Rouge SL four years old with 30k, they gave us $22k trade in. Their just not right. I hope someone reads this and it helps make a difference when we all work so hard for our money and someone wants to take advantage or just screw us out of it. I'm an efficient person, and I did my homework and took screenshots of this dealership's offers before I visited in person. They had a specific model car with a specific trim and a specific power train listed at a very specific price, and they had multiple cars on the lot that fit the advertisement. However, when I spoke with a salesman at the dealership and showed him the advertisement on their website, he refused to sell the advertised car at the advertised price. I asked him to write up the offer so I could acquire a document stating their price, and he did so. Their offer was literally many thousands higher than what they advertised on their website. This is classic "bait and switch". A dealership advertises a car at a fantastic price and then comes up with a hundred excuses as to why they can't sell the car at the advertised price. Their goal is simple: advertise a car at a great price in order to get you show up on the lot. This is outright deceit. But don't blame the salesman when you experience a situation like this. Lies and deception start with management, and the salesman is only doing what he's been trained to do. And once they lie about one thing, you have to question everything they say because they are most likely lying about many things. This dealership is dishonest. DO NOT waste your time visiting it. I wasted several hours of my life that I can't get back. Thankfully, I took screenshots of their offers on their website, and now I have a written document clearly showing the difference between their advertised price and what they offered me in person for the same car. I will be submitting the information to Nissan's corporate office. Shady dealerships do face repercussion for dishonest business practices. One more thing...if you've encountered a dishonest dealership like this one, don't take it personal. It's a game for them. These people love to practice deception. The aggravation they cause customers is basically entertainment, something to laugh about around the water cooler or at lunch break. The only thing you can do is report their shenanigans to their corporate office and then write honest online reviews to forewarn other people. Reviews last for years (if not forever), and if I can prevent even one person from wasting their time at this dealership, writing this review was well worth the effort. And - who knows - maybe if more customers expose this dealership's business practices, they might choose to start dabbling in honesty instead of deceit. read more

The service is horrible. I made an appointment as time is valuable. They said it would take up to 1 1/2hrs when I arrived on time for me to have a routine oil change, I was there 2 1/2 hrs. Once done they handed me my receipt-keys and I was out with no other interaction that would make me want to come back. Then I received an email with my receipt and diagnosis that said I had declined a service in which I never spoke to anyone about such. I'm very dissatisfied with the service I received at United Nissan. Less than two years ago, I paid for a full transmission replacement, which I was assured was a brand-new unit. Since then, the vehicle has been driven lightly and responsibly -- yet now I'm facing the same issue and being told I need another transmission. This is completely unacceptable for such a major and costly repair to fail in such a short time. It raises serious concerns about the quality of the parts installed and the work performed. I'm requesting full documentation proving the transmission that was installed was genuinely new, as stated at the time of service. If this issue isn't addressed or resolved appropriately, I will be forced to escalate the matter through consumer protection and legal channels. Shady dealership! I def recommend you go elsewhere when seeking a new vehicle. I recently visited Nissan to get a new truck, when talking to a salesman I saw this on the floor and decided to ask some questions. The salesman advised that the truck had 20k worth of work done to it and everything was top of the line. Salesman also kept insisting (I'm Mexican and he's Mexican so he was going to "take care" of me). The whole experience was garbage. Fast forward, we bullshit for a bit and I start to ask for an itemized list for the truck parts that were added and equal 20k. (The original truck price as a 2022 was 42 and they were asking 70 online and offering me the truck for 60 so they could "break even". ) Took two days to get the itemized list and there was only 7k worth of work done to the truck plus a wrap. The lift kit and accessories were not high quality as he stated. Once I called him out on that he claimed "oh I'm just a salesman and that's what my manager told me." Then the manager responds with "yea I told him that, you want the truck or not" I explained my concern and the manager had nothing to say other than do I want the truck or not. Thankfully went down the road to Dolan Toyota and got a better truck, better buying experience, and a better interaction with the managers. My employee's truck wouldn't start. He had it towed to Reno Nissan for warranty work. This is the 7th or 8th time this problem has occurred with his truck, and every time he has taken it to this Nissan dealer for warranty work. Whatever the issue is with his truck, it involves some kind of parasitic electrical current drain as when the vehicles sits for more than 48 hours, it wont start. Anyway, the concerning part of my observation was the service writer's lack interest in resolving this issue. The guy could not have cared less and hymned and hawed when any inquiry involved him providing an answer. And the excuses for not resolving this issue on the several prior visits was, "you may need to upgrade to a new vehicle". The truck is a 23 Titan Platinum edition with less than 30k miles. If the problem isn't resolved this time, I have encouraged my employee to sell his truck, buy another one that is reliable enough to get him to work, and then to sue Nissan for the out of pocket expenses, because clearly, this Nissan dealer has completely failed to perform the parameters of the warranty in resolving this issue. read more

I absolutely loathe the car buying process! One of the reasons for this is slimy dealerships like this one. Yesterday, I saw an ad on Autotrader for a "certified" 2019 Titan with 28k miles for $33,500 (I'll try to post a screen shot below if this platform will let me). At 9am I called and was told that the vehicle was still available. I immediately drove to Reno from Susanville California, approximately 1 1/2 hours each way to check out the vehicle. As that price would have been a great deal it's very likely I would have bought the vehicle. That is, if it actually existed. In a classic bait and switch maneuver, I was told that the vehicle had "frame damage" and was unsafe. I let one of the crime partners show me a king cab rig because I hadn't looked at one and got out of there. (I was going to post names but am opting not to but anyone wanted can PM and I'll be happy to share them). Reno just generally seems to be among the worst places to try to buy. With the exception of CarMax who treated me great on a used car I've had nothing but negative experiences there! Do yourself a favor and go to Fallon, Fernley, or the California foothills. Your chances of a fair shake and at least a hint of honesty will be significantly better! read more

I continuously get letters address to my Mother who is deceased asking to buy her car that she sold to my best friends Mother in Spokane WA many moons ago and the car is a 2008 which is old as the hills anyway. I decided it was time to call the General Manager to stop sending these letters to me, her daughter that lives in Sparks, NV. This person goes on to tell me this is a marketing campaign, well I said "get a correct report and stop marketing the dead". It is very upsetting to me and anyone that gets mail address to their love one who passed especially now with so many people passing along. It's a terrible way to market. Get a billboard!! Received a text a few weeks ago that my Nissan had a recall. Turns out that the recall was related to a software update. Now mind you I had just taken in my Nissan a couple weeks prior for service; no mention of the recall. I made an appointment as recommended and was told if I came in very early on Saturday like 8:15 AM I'd be out in 2 hours. So I get here at 8:10 AM. At 10:20 I inquired as to why am I still here when ALL other customers in the waiting room are gone (had been for approximately 15-20 minutes). Some customers came in after me. They blamed their Internet speed. I shared with the tech I'd been have lightning fast speed from my phone. He said that's mobile speed. I then showed him my laptop case in my hands. Bottom line I don't like the service group they have not been supportive when I call; kind of rude. And then to be given that explanation didn't hold water. I'm an IT professional and know how long a SW update takes. Plus I researched this one it takes approximately 40-45 minutes. I'm shopping for a personal vehicle as the van I brought in is for my business. I'm not getting a Nissan I'll get a Toyota or a Honda. When I go to Toyota the service is GREAT. Came here for a simple test drive with hopes to buy a car after the wedding and ended up looking at a Murano, referred to Chuck Sinclair as the Murano guy there. Service- I would absolutely refer and recommend Chuck Sinclair to purchase another car from. He is a good guy, easy to get along with and didn't do any time wasters. Atmosphere- Clean, and open, with coffee, some fruit and a vending machine. Overall it was a pleasant atmosphere and felt private enough to discuss the deal without hearing other people's conversations. Prices- Prices were affordable, however the prices listed actually increased from what was listed. We were able to discuss it, and I do understand the trade in value was higher then market value, but we did came to a mutual agreement on the price. This also was rectified by offered a loan at less the USAA rates which we happily took. Extras: I was very happy with Chuck with did everything he could be helpful and politely close the deal. When we are ready for a trade next year on my fiancee's car we will try here first. Financing- The finance guy (paperwork) Oscar, was okay, not incredibly personable which is fine. I did heavily balk at putting my fingerprint down on paperwork. I was able to avoid this, but not without an extra hoop or two first. I 100% do not feel comfortable with this, and had been required, I would have left without a car despite their assurance my fingerprint only stays in house. NOTES: We did have one hiccup on financing where they had reported my trade in for 1k less then what was agreed on. Read your paperwork carefully. I am not sure if this was intentional and though I imagine not, it would have been a headache to fix once the paperwork was signed. Everything would have been a 5 if: There was no company fingerprint requirement for paperwork, the price on the sticker would have stayed the same on the car sold, and the 1k trade in mistake would not have happened. read more
