Good quality dark chocolate with an exorbitant price tag. I rate the chocolate 4 stars and the price 1 star. I'm a devotee of artisanal chocolates and regularly consume Norman Love Confections (Fort Meyers, FL), Marie Belle (New York City), John & Kira's (Philadelphia, PA), Christopher Elbow (Kansas City, MO), Woodhouse (Napa, CA), Moonstruck (Portland, OR), Mary's Chocolate (Japan), Vosges (Chicago, IL), Neuhaus (Belgium), Pierre Marcolini (Belgium), and many, many more. Milla chocolate is good quality; I give it a solid "B" grade compared to so many other fine chocolatiers I've consumed across the U.S.A and Europe. Most artisanal chocolates are in the $2.00 - $3.00 per piece before shipping. Milla Chocolates is nearly double in price: a 9-piece assorted box is $41.00 and a bar is $20.00. That does not include the cost of shipping - luckily I live close enough to buy these in person. Bottom Line: Milla's prices are absurd for the quality and quantity. This is my first and last purchase unless they cut their prices in half. There are many other fine chocolatiers who produce the same or even better quality chocolate at close to half Milla's prices (even when shipping is factored in).

Clockwise from top left: champagne, passionfruit, cardamom, hazelnut, raspberry, Earl grey

I have a huge sweet tooth, especially for chocolate. Even better if it's high-quality chocolate. I swear by generic Godiva chocolates, but every now and then I come across a boutique chocolatier that just blows my mind. Milla Chocolates is no exception. My partner gifted me a box of six for Valentine's Day (so I didn't pay and have no idea how much they cost, haha), and I loved how elegant the packaging was-- all black, minimalistic, but classy. I tried them all in one sitting, and man was I in heaven: besides being really good, 55-60% cacao chocolates, they also came in unique flavors. My ranking: 6) Champagne: could not taste the champagne whatsoever. A disappointment. 5) Raspberry: sweet and fruity, but not a standout: I've had similar chocolates with Godiva before. 4) Hazelnut: rich and nutty, with a bit of grittiness from the unprocessed hazelnut bits (which I love). But again, not a standout as I've had similar with Godiva. 3) Earl grey: one of the most-unique flavors and absolutely delicious. Intense black, floral tea flavor, its bitterness meshing perfectly with the sweet chocolate. A must-get for anyone. 2) Cardamom: another unique flavor-- deep, earthy, and spiced, it was like eating something chai-flavored. Also a must-get! 1) Passionfruit: WOW! Absolutely bursting with fruitiness, growing and growing the more it melts on your tongue. My favorite of them all. Will definitely be back for more Milla chocolates-- I've heard they have yuzu flavor, and I'm hitting that next!

We came in to kill some time before our museum visit across the street. They sell Parisian chocolates and coffee drinks here. We had espresso and cold brew, both were tasty. I tried two chocolate bon bon in yuzu and passion fruit flavors. The chocolates were so delicious but tiny. I wanted to get assorted box and blocks cause they looked so yummy. But we had a long day ahead of us so the chocolates would have belted. The service was very friendly and prices were not bad. We would stop by again whenever we are in this area!

These chocolates are absolutely delicious! Unique flavors that are not too sweet. Very delicate, small bites that are high end

I was lucky enough to be sent delicious chocolates from the Easter bunny herself from this divine boutique. They were delivered with Care in a temperature controlled box which is very important obviously if you are sending anything edible or anything that will expire. The dark chocolate was exceptional and transported me back to Paris. I thought that nothing compared to Maison de Chocolate but Milla is definitely competition for that established Parisian brand. I highly recommend their delivery service and look forward to visiting the shop in person I am a clinically diagnosed chocoholic and I give this shop an A+ five stars.

    Matcha Latte $6

My mom recommended their chocolates so I came with a friend to try them out, also picked up a matcha latte which I regret Chocolates - 5/5 - I really liked the quality of the chocolates and felt that all the flavors really shined through - The lady who helped us recommended the Passionfruit and props to her! Definitely my favorite! - My friend's recommendation is the pistachio flavor - I recommend the yuzu and caramel flavors Matcha Latte - 0/5 - I almost cried when I had my first sip bc I essentially paid $6 for green milk, there was no matcha flavor - Whole milk is a plus i guess - This isn't a matcha shop so I shouldn't have expected a lot, but since the shop looked so nice and high end I hoped for at least an average matcha latte - I asked the lady beforehand what type of matcha powder they use and if it was ceremonial grade matcha, she wasn't sure of either answer and I felt bad for confusing her but also frustrated that the info wasn't clear Service - 4/5 - The lady was so nice and friendly! - I asked for a knife to cut the chocolates and she gave me napkins, a bit of miscommunication but has the right energy - I felt that she really took time to make the packaging and chocolate box pretty and really appreciate the effort

    Iced Black Sesame Chocolate drink.

Small selection but everything is well done and executed to a high polish. The Black Sesame Iced Chocolate was a dense mix of sesame, almond milk, and chocolate. Would have loved it more if it were creamier. The standout was their Black Sesame Double Chocolate Cookie. It was chewy and chocolate-y and punctuated by the savoriness of sesame seeds. Friendly staff. Will have to try the gem-like chocolates next.

Classy and quiet coffee/chocolate shop. The interior is simple and minimalistic however, the way they advertise and organize their products brings elegance to the environment. The service was great and the barista took time and care in making coffee. We got the cafe mocha. It was well made. It was rich and creamy, making me want to come back and buy their chocolates. I would 100% recommend this place.

The place has a very limited collection of chocolates , for being a chocolate only store . It's overpriced for the portion size of chocolate they sell . Advise not to waste your time & money here unless they really work in a good collection of chocolates .

Iced dark drinking chocolate!!!!! With or without black sesame- SO DELICIOUS!! They also have exquisite bars some w praline in it as well as a variety of truffles. A hidden gem in Culver City.

Chocolate and coffee. What a delightful experience. Everything in here is so elegant and their chocolate is crafted with detail and care. In the front there is a nice display of ready to sell products and the chocolate case where you can sample and choose. The back is the kitchen where they make the chocolates there. They offered samples and the barista was very attentive. I had the coffee and bonbons for ~$9. You get your pick of any of the coffee items (I got cappuccino - it was very good, not bitter at all) and two bonbons (black sesame caramel and smoky scotch). The selections are very unique and I appreciated the subtle complexity of the flavors with the chocolate! Would definitely come back again. Only thing I wish they had is a couple of chairs or stools. The interior is small, so I understand they don't have much space for people to hang out there all day. It would have been much more enjoyable experience to savor my coffee and chocolates sitting down rather than standing at the counter.

Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. A friendly attitude goes a long way, and that was completely missing. The coffee was even more disappointing. It had almost no flavor and tasted watered down, especially for the price. I expected a quality drink, but it was bland and absolutely not worth what I paid. To make matters worse, we were told to leave the patio an hour before the shop was even closing. If the patio has different hours, that should be clearly communicated instead of asking paying customers to leave early. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. Between the unfriendly service, flavorless coffee, and being asked to leave well before closing, I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other cafés in Pasadena that offer much better coffee and treat their customers with respect.

TAWDI appeared highly rated, but it was also basically the only choice. Walking in to Mickey Mouse greeting you, it's a very homely, organized, and oddly empty shop with some Middle Eastern influence. They are big on marketing for their Dubai chocolate offerings, which I did try. The lady who helped was very kind, offering us each a sample by the chocolate type we liked. As she explained how they make chocolate in the back daily, I had to inquire about popular selections and what some flavors were. Basically, they seem to focus on Dubai chocolates and have some imported goods from Lebanon. While I trust that they make chocolates daily, I have to question how much, what flavors, and what is being turned over, because the sample I ate and the chocolates I opened up later certainly had obvious chocolate bloom, and yes they were stored at an appropriate temperature and eaten on the same day. At the price these pieces were, they certainly shouldn't have chocolate bloom nor taste like old chocolate. The filling of their Dubai bar was nice, crunchy, and moist, but the exterior chocolate shell didn't really have a taste. I am fine with paying a premium for premium-tasting chocolate and often do it, but I would have preferred eating grocery store chocolate, honestly. I'm not sure what others are tasting or whether people reviewing TAWDI are actually into chocolate, but I was disappointed when I didn't enjoy these.

Let's begin with the most important thing you must know - Teusher chocolates is the absolute James Bond of all chocolates. They are smooth, sophisticated and always ready to impress. The shop itself is an absolute fairy and flowery wonderland of delights and imagination. The detail to their truffle boxes and assortments are incredible. I highly recommend their champagne truffles, however, in all fairness, any chocolate you get is a win for your taste buds.
