Upon entry the staff was professional and very polite. We had a salesman named Dustin approach us and everything about him was very unlike a typical "car salesman". He was knowledgeable and really listened to our needs instead of looking out for his sale. He showed us a car that we really liked and ended up buying. He then did the things he's trained to do like offering us to perhaps consider leasing a car (no way Jose) but as soon as we declined he was very understanding and was not at all pushy. I was looking for a used Lexus, with a few models that I was looking at. I stopped by when I saw a Lexus RX 350L online (and it was at his dealership), but I didn't like the color combo. Izzy came out to help, and I just wanted to see the interior, see how it fit, and ask a question or two about it. It was a newer year than the one I had and the 'L' series is a 3rd row version. It wasn't for me and Izzy didn't try any pressure tactics. The dealership then got in another model, an NX350, newer and priced higher. Izzy set me up on a test drive, and while it was nice, the engine option in it was not for me. It has a 4 cylinder turbo and I wanted a V6, no turbo. Izzy asked me some questions about what I liked, didn't like, and he'd keep an eye out for anything coming into the dealership. I didn't get to buy a vehicle from Izzy; another car, that checked all the boxes I had, showed up at another dealership and I ended up buying that one. If a friend asked me to recommend a sales person, I'd tell them to get themselves educated about what they want and the process and then call Izzy.

NEXT shortly after that my check engine light came on took it to see what it was for, few codes came up for sensor,I called them to notify them and they told me they can't help me go though my warrant. Didnt fall through so I had get that fixed on my own . Not even a week later the engine light back on. Brought it back to the shop now it's a wiring issue. That isn't covered by warranty so a couple thousand bucks for that. Three days later the engine light back on. I can't catch a damn break with this car. THEY SOLD ME A LEMON!!!!!!! Step one would be to go to a review of another dealer I wanted to go to (Wayland Automotive Services, Wayland, MA.)so you can read it FIRST, that way you will know how I got here to Action Automotive!! They were double icky. Chris @ Action is worth the visit. So if you read what I wrote, here is my visit worked out with Chris at Action Automotive. is the rating because that is the most amount of stars that I can choose! We (Rebecca & I) live near Albany NY and wanted a good used vehicle to use as primary transportation year round. Action Automotive was 130 miles each way. Our motorcycles are not good in the snow, neither is her dream car we also bought used (another story) 2008 Vette (triple black rag top) And our Ram is our Mule( 2016 reg. cab,1500, 2wd). Action had a PT Cruiser we were interested in (2008 Base model wagon). It's job would be all short errands, rain and snow also. I was suppose to have been hit in the left rear corner 4 times - that turned out wrong! Chris described the damage over the phone, and if I got there and it was not at described I would turn around and head back home. I drove to his place of business with our Ram, and our 16 foot steel deck trailer. It was not as described, it was actually much better than I thought. I got there a bit late, missed a turn or two but he waited for me. He new I was coming as he fed me the directions I needed. As a result he was stuck at work waiting, He had paper work ready, we talked a bit handed over the money loaded it up (I did not want to keep him there so I skipped a road test - just the 15 feet or so onto the trailer and headed home. Was given a warranty also, but we had a conversation about the 260 mile round trip if it needed any thing. I told him I would most likely fix it myself (I'm an auto tech since 1968 (yeah I'm old - but a hand shake kind of guy-and Chris seemed like one also. Once home I went thru it, called him, made a few repairs that I wanted to do, and needed a repair that was needed, We talked over emails about it, and it was handled via mail. The wife and I LOVE this little car, it just fits like a glove! maybe that is why Chrysler sold 1.3 million of them, in just 10 years of production. I now moved back to CT and still live about 40 minutes away from Middletown and bring my car there. I have it towed there if its not drivable. I do not trust mechanics now-a-days because even the fast oil change places have messed up my car. He is always reasonable, quick and awesome customer service. Never has he tried to fix anything that does not need to be fixed and in-fact, has told me I do NOT need something that I may of thought I needed to save me the money. I feel really blessed to have such a reliable trustworthy mechanic like Walter. I recommend all my friends and family to him when they are needing any car repairs and they all say the same thing after using his services.
