ADT home alarm is just a piece of junk. Things are constantly going wrong. The control pads start beeping and you can't shut the beeping off. The one upstairs in our bedroom just wouldn't shut off, so I removed it from the wall and put in a drawer at the other end of the house so we could sleep. False alarms in the middle of the night. "Faults" on windows and doors. So we go and open and shut, open and shut, open and shut those windows or doors, and still the fault shows up. And sometimes that fixes the fault. But it's CONSTANT. Absolute JUNK. And the sensors keep falling off from windows and doors. I called to complain and Millennium told me, "Well, they're only secured by tape, so of course, sometimes they will fall off." Really? That's your answer? Junk, pure junk. We have not even set out alarm for over two months now. The upstairs one is still in the drawer at the other end of the house, and the downstairs pad also just keeps beeping, driving me crazy in my home office while I'm trying to do some work. I switched to this company from ring after they came to my door multiple times, and it was the worst decision I have ever made. My doorbell has been non functioning since they hooked it up and it has been two weeks. The most important camera outside, the rep said it has "night vision" is completely black, some came and tagged on my trailer and it couldn't even be seen. The realtor of the seller sent their info over since the seller of our home had ADT installed while the house was vacant. I was supposed to get $200 rebate for the service and now the rep won't return any calls. Robert Tapia is the rep and he said that he was waiting on the office to cut the check and now he has completely ghosted us. Come to find we are under a 36 month term contract. read more

This company has been extremely unprofessional and it's quality service the worst of its kind. Neils, the Danish racist owner (based on comments he has made in the past) comes across as a total sales greaser, but the minute their system fails, he will delay the service call or make you pay for it. His system keeps on failing and sensors igniting all the time. When you are not home and cannot attest whether something is going on, you end up agreeing to have the police come over. Once the police comes over and sees that it was a false alarm, the police will send you an invoice for false alarm. Millenium will admit the sensor went off, but will not cover the bill. Worst decision ever...not only that, way more expensive that Ring or ADT. read more

A rep came to my house and sold me a dream. Rep never said she worked with Millennium, she only said she worked with ADT which was misrepresentation. She RANDOMLY offered me a 100 dollar gift card as a part of the deal. Of course, I took it! Who wouldn't accept $100bucks? Sadly, the issuance was not automatic. I had to call my rep several times to get it issued. And when I finally got it, it wasn't a gift card, it was via Zelle which seemed shady! Well now I have to pay it back. The rep said that the package came with cameras. Now I'm finding out that the $100 was a rebate and the rebate was for people who couldn't afford to purchase the cameras at that time. I could of purchased the cameras - CASH! Like, was she implying that I'm poor? Is that why she did not give me that option? That is insulting!! On top of that, the technician that installed all the equipment left a huge hole in my wall and tape residue around all my doors. IMPORTANT AND BEWARE: Corporate ADT contract is suppose to be 24 months and Millennium forced me into a 36 month contract. They verbally tell you things and they re-nig on what they are saying. NEVER EVER AGAIN!! Update: A Supervisor called and "what seemed" to understand and acknowledged the reps error in stating that she was new and lacked training. Then he basically implied that I lacked common sense in understanding free vs. incentive which "INCENTIVE" was never stated at the time of sign up. The rep offered me $100 bucks without additional explanation therefore isn't that free? IJS! Then compared it to the time he purchased a car... how is that relevant? Failure to fully install system as promised. When I called to voice my concerns about a lack of the full system I signed a contract for and I was told that would cost more money. When I told them I would like to cancel they threatened me and then hung up on me. Poor customer service and bad promises. You should be able to trust the company "protecting" your home...I do not. This is a late review a few months ago we decided to change security companies. My husband called ADT direct and was given a set price. We shopped a bit and found millennium. millennium is an authorized dealer for ADT. They told us their rates which were obviously better than if we would have chosen ADT direct. Millennium made a next day in home appointment for us. They assigned Kerrie as our sales rep. Kerrie arrived early than scheduled and was kind and patient enough to wait for us. She was very easy to work with it was a straight forward sale. No trying to up sell or get us to purchase additional items. She also included extra sensors for the windows at no charge. The gentleman came the following day to install the system and he too was very polite and professional. After the installation we had a contract issue and within minutes of leaving a message Kerrie responded. Overall it had been a good experience and would recommend them! Extremely happy with the service I received from everyone, from the moment I requested a quote to the moment everything was installed, everyone was so kind. I requested a quote on a Wednesday, received a response the same day and everything was installed by the following Tuesday - not to mention, we needed an evening installation and Ricardo managed to get all of the cameras installed in the dark in about an hour. I must have asked the same question/s almost 10 times and each time they were answered with kindness and good knowledge. I mostly dealt with Pedro and Ricardo, and both were amazing. I just got hung up on by Terry the cancellation manager and customer service manager of millennium. CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER. I exchanged no raised voice or inappropriate language. Millennium refused to cancel my services unless I pay not only 75% of my last year but an additional 1 year. 1 year beyond ADT California terms. (24 months) Terry & Millennium told me I need to pay whatever amount is arbitrarily deemed the cost of the equipment. I was referred to section 15 which does not even use the word equipment or reference my need to pay for the equipment. My contract signed was for $1 for all equipment costs! Terry and Millennium claim equipment $800. An extra year of services beyond what I've agreed in the state is being charged. Millennium then told me I need to call my installer from a year ago and schedule him to come by to pick up their equipment! In order cancel i'm told ADT needs to be called then I need to call back millennium and cancel again and then call their technicians and arrange my schedule for him to come collect non working equipment. Do not work with this company. Millennium's leadership of the customers experience (Terry Stephanie & Brandy) feel the most effective way for the company to work with customers is to belittle, mislead and hang up on them. Apparently asking Millennium to abide by state law and contract obligations is unacceptable for the company. I am filing a complaint with BBB and the attorney general office today. read more

As my husband and I pulled into the driveway of our new home we were approached by a sales rep with an ADT shirt on she lied to us and told us that she was an ADT rep. We had had ADT at our old home and were planning to renew it. Long story short she mislead us into signing a 13 month contract with millennium which we did not need cause we wanted to go directly through ADT. She also lied and said that she would give me $100 off due to an issue we had with our last ADT account. Shortly after that someone called from millinneum saying they were an ADT rep asking for us to send them a copy of the deed to our home to confirm we were really the owners. Bad experience period. Incredibly efficient, friendly and competent service. Contacted Abraham around 11 to get a consultation. He arrives at noon and we have a chat about what he can offer. The packages all seem reasonably priced. We agree on a package. A technician, Gilbert, arrives around 1:30 the same day and gets to business. Installs a slew of sensors, motion detectors and cameras. Before leaving he thoroughly explains how the system works and answers the few questions we had. As I type this, it is 4:15pm. Pedro was a wonderful front person who let us know what we needed to update an old hard-wired system. Although he isn't ADT, his service and care were so much better than you'll get from calling ADT, being put on hold, hearing what "deals" are being offered in your area or not, etc. This is why you should bypass ADT and go right to Millennium Alarms Systems. Oscar, the technician, came out and set up a 2300 sq. foot house in less than two hours. He was outfitted in a mask, booties and gloves, and was very patient and helpful going through ins and outs of the system. He also left his card and said a few times that he'd be happy to help with any issues that may arise. Class act! While every situation is different, there were no up front charges, just a two-year monthly reasonable ADT contract. ADT quoted me a $700 up front fee!! Not this company.
