The sorbet soft serve. Amazing! The macaroons are such a nice touch & aesthetically beautiful.

Our stay at The Four Seasons Hualali included dining multiple times at Miller & Lux, which did not disappoint. I especially liked that they offer a separate vegan menu. The restaurant itself is beautiful and traditional Hawaiian aesthetic, with a very impressive wine fridge. Plenty of staff that worked hard to accommodate our party of six, and keep things rolling. The general manager made sure that all of our needs were met. Highly recommend going here whilst on the Big Island. The quality of the food is excellent along with beautiful views of the grounds and exceptional service.

Another amazing anniversary meal at Miller and Lux. From the fantastic table side Cesar salad, oysters and a totally new version of steak tartare on top of canoe cut bone marrow. Service is always on point and the views are beautiful. Always loved the autographed menu. The tiny carrot cakes and salted chocolate carmels were a tasty treat

Another visit to Miller & Lux and another incredible meal! This time we knew better than to over order. We started with the warm, complimentary popovers - not to be missed! He had a mezcal margarita and I enjoyed a refreshing glass of Sancerre. We shared the beautiful Ali'i Mushrooms and the Miller & Lux Caesar. Love the table side preparation! Fresh greens, sharp parmesan, tangy lemon...savory deliciousness! He had the Filet with Bordelaise Sauce, Onion Jam, and Beef Chicharrón and licked his plate clean. I had the starter of Bigeye Tuna Tacos. Light, fresh, and just what I needed. The burger and Dover Sole were tempting but I wanted something lighter. Service was warm and attentive. We enjoyed our table overlooking the golf course and the ocean in the distance. Dreamy!!!

Miller and Lux is at the Four Seasons Hualalai, is an elegant steakhouse with Hawaii's unique flavors. Celebrity chef Tyler Florence did not come to play. Service was top notch. They moved our table to the balcony to give us extra privacy for my birthday dinner. Exceptional wine selections. The fries were superlative. Steak was beyond tender; a magical evening.

If you're a fan of the Food Network, you're no stranger to Chef Tyler Florence-- and his restaurant Miller & Lux at the Four Seasons Hualalai lives up to every expectation. The menu is thoughtfully curated and while the prices run steep, you won't regret anything you order. While I love a good Caesar Salad, especially one made table side with fresh anchovies included, I couldn't pass up the Japanese A5 Wagyu. It was by far the most delicate and tender cut of meat I've ever had. It was melt in your mouth good. However, the real standout for me were the Hawaiian Oysters. The Hawaiian Oysters were not only visually stunning, but the ingredients of green apple, yuzu and ginger were a delight to the palette. The ambiance is romantic with dim lighting, perfect for a memorable evening, but not ideal for taking pictures-- of the food or yourself.

Food: fantastic. All of the dishes were very well thought out and perfectly executed. The Waygu Bavette steak, House Caesar, and Coconut Cake were particularly great. Ambiance: not beachfront but a beautiful setting nonetheless. Tables are relatively quiet if seated on the balcony. Service: started off great but ended up being a let down. Our waitress and the overall service was very nice through the appetizers and main course, but after that things went down hill. It's like our waitress and the rest of the staff completely forgot about us. It took quite a while for our main dishes to be cleared and dessert (just a couple pieces of cake) took over 30 minutes to arrive. After that the dessert dishes weren't cleared for another 20 minutes and bringing the check took another 15. By the time all was said and done we were just ready to get out of there. They also didn't recognize our 1 year wedding anniversary that was mentioned as we were checking in.

Very unique menu that is great for foodies. Everyone in the family loved their dish. Even though I ordered the steak which was probably the most basic item on the menu, it tasted incredible and was so tender.

Lovely restaurant at the Four Seasons. Great food (do not skip over that Caesar). The luxury is most apparent in the service - every staff member is a shining example of how a restaurant should treat every customer. My time at the resort was brief but I will remember it fondly.

Another beautiful night with great food, guests and service. As residence of Hawaii we love to go out for special occasions. Miller& Lux knows how to make every occasion, an event. Start with a Ceasar, check out the appetizers and then consider the Lobster or steak; risotto as a side dish. Top it off with Banana Fosters.

It was a great meal. Beautiful restaurant located in one of the nicest resorts I have ever been to. Bonus that we were given a popover as a starter. The food and service was excellent. Loved the mountain of fries. Deviled eggs are my favorite, these were excellent. Highly recommend.

    Beet tartare tacos

Came with my boyfriend for a birthday dinner. The restaurant has very classy ambience and is nicely decorated, and the view was gorgeous. We called around 3pm and got reservations the same day at 6:30. I ordered the beet tartare tacos, heirloom green beans, and the Caesar salad (vegan version). They were pretty good but I could tell the place is more geared towards meat eaters (makes sense with it being a steakhouse)! My boyfriend got the M&L burger and the mac & cheese and loved both. I ordered a Ka Pua Poni drink off the "lower ABV" drink menu, but it was super yummy and I thought it was the perfect level. Our server (I think his name was Vance? Or maybe Vince?) was very helpful and attentive. I'm vegan, and we only got one drink total, which played a part in this, but the bill came out to be pretty reasonable. About the same price as eating at Huggo's, even after including a good tip. We will be coming back to dine at the Four Seasons again!

The restaurant is located at the Four Seasons. You can valet your car or park in the lot. The valet told us we could park in any spot including the valet spaces. It is only a short walk back to the restaurant. This place is amazing. From the time we walked in it was lovely. The place is setup so nicely. I loved the open air look. The walls of the exterior fold in so it looks out to the tables outside and then to the trees, it really is beautiful. We sat inside however just a few feet from the outside tables. We came just as the place was opening so no one was seated around us. They do have specialty cocktails but I don't do mixed drinks. I asked for my Remy Martin but they didn't carry it. I had an 18 year old Japanese whiskey which hit the spot. Then the Martell Cordon Blue. My wife got the Caesar salad and they made it at the table. So neat. The bread they brought was baked special and it was like croissant crust all over. It was different but I didn't finish it. I got the oysters which were from Hawaii. Kumamoto's. There was a lot of stuff on top. Next was the filet which was cooked to perfection. Yummy. The wife got their famous burger. It was so tall she had to squeeze it tight to try and get it in her mouth. It was amazing. Thus the award for it. Plus it came with truffle fries. We topped our dinner off with the fruit tart. So lovely. This place had such good service and ambiance. It was our perfect ending to our vacation at the Big Island. Chef Tyler Florence is amazing to have a restaurant here on Kona. We will come here again if we make it out here. Loved everything about this place.

The tomahawk steak with garlic bone marrow. Beautifully presented , it just lacked flavour

I am happy to share that it remains a classic and unique experience for locals and visitors alike. Last night we decided to go since we were celebrating a friend's recovery from open heart surgery at Queens six weeks earlier and even though it was the July Fourth holiday weekend we had an excellent meal. Seated next to the crashing surf with a sweeping view of Kailua Bay we enjoyed cocktails as the sun slowly set. We were fortunate to be taken care of by Joe, who as it turned out had worked there 17 years and he made some good suggestions. The sizzling mushrooms were a delight. My wife had the lamb shank, and I had the pork chop. Both were amazingly tender and tasty. Our friends had the signature Teriyaki steak and pasta with Kauai prawns and ended up wishing they'd had ours. The signature steak has great flavor but flank steak is not as good as a ribeye grilled at my place, or so they told me. They are somewhat spoiled. ): But we all had a great time and were especially pleased with Joe as we went down memory lane and caught up on mutual friends. We're grateful that Eric and his team have kept this and the other restaurants they own top notch. Also well worth noting is that its employee ownership program ensures the legacy of quality will continue. Parking here is a challenge but there's free validated parking and then if you don't mind a bit of a walk there are other options. I forgot to ask about parking as we parked and walked this time because the lot was full but that's not surprising given it was a holiday weekend. Mahalo.
