I'd say negative one rating if that was an option. My drivers license expired on my birthday after the eight year period like it does for everyone. I spent hours at the DMV yesterday and got it renewed. They issue you a paper license and your plastic license comes within 20 days. I'm 38 years old. I went today for drinks and food and was told they don't accept paper ids. It is issued by the TN government and is valid. This is ridiculous and out of my control. My sister promptly finished her beer and we left. I do not recommend the Hixson, TN Miller's to anyone. That rule is stupid and their food isn't good anyway. My husband ordered the 12 oz Ribeye and swears he ended up with Chuck eye. The texture was terrible. Very rubbery and loaded with gristle. I got the Largest Prime Rib. The texture was horrible. it had an "off taste" with zero flavor and took forever to chew. The saving grace was my son loved his Crab Legs and other family members said the Quesadilla Ruben was good. It was my sons birthday so we were there with 6 other people and didn't complain or discuss how horrible the food was until we later arrived at home and just the two of us. Our waitress was great. Friendly, attentive and was a pleasure. The likelihood that we will ever go back is zero. As we had been in there before, had the burgers we had then were just as bad. HUGE menu and excellent quality. Everyone in our group had something different and thought it was extremely good. Tavern fare but a little more uppity (by that, I mean with a genuine foodie flair). We weren't in a position to try the beers but they looked really interesting - big variety, as well. If this is a franchise, I suspect they're all this good, though just a little pricey. Chicken zingers lacked flavor and were very bland. The burger was just average. The restaurant was clean and the environment was nice, but the service was a little slow and lacking. The filet mignon was tough and dry and bland. The mashed potatoes were in a separate container and were about 1/4 inch deep with approximately 1 and 1/2 inches of gravy on top. The mashed potatoes were runny exactly like soup. I couldn't even tell what the mashed potatoes were. The garlic chips were wet and soggy because they were put in the same container with my other food and they fell to the bottom of the container and got in food drippings. The salad looked good but as I was eating it I noticed little pieces of the salad were wilted and slimy. The sweet tea was good. read more

Total disappointment. We started with a Caesar salad. There was only dressing on half the salad. The croutons were like rocks they were so hard. We ate less than a fourth of our salad, and our waitress was nowhere to be seen. I finally flagged her down to ask about our appetizers that we had ordered over 20 minutes before. How long does it take to heat up some mozzarella sticks? Thankfully the mozzarella sticks were fine, but the small plastic ramekin of marinara is clearly insufficient for 8 sticks. Flag down the waitress again to request more. Could we please have plates for our appetizers? There's no ketchup on the table, and my daughter has a burger that's plain--flag her down again. Spinach and artichoke dip was terrible. Nachos were mediocre. Cheap napkins are all that's available from a dispenser like a fast food restaurant (so you have to use twice as many). Thankfully the children's burger was great per my ten year old. The poor food combined with having to flag down the waitress every time we needed something including our check made for a lackluster experience. We will not return. read more

Transparency on beer prices. I noticed your menu does not have the prices of your draft beers. I did notice the sign that says Imports/Crafts "start at 5.99" and domestics starting at $5.29 for a big pour. The Coors and Miller Lite I ordered was $5.29. I ordered a Stella and a Sam Adams as well. Those two were $6.99 plus a $2.75 up charge for the big pour. I will have to add that there is a distinct difference in a 23oz glass and a 23oz pour! There was almost 1.5" missing after I let the head fizzle out. That would be around 4oz missing in that style glass. I questioned my bill when I received it (6.99 plus a 2.75 up charge on the craft/imports for a big pour. I questioned the bartender and was told that was for the larger beer (she acted like I was stupid for asking and couldn't comprehend it) I asked her which import was 5.99 for a big pour like the sign advertised, she ran off and said she'd show me. She came back with my receipts instead and still could not answer my simple question of which import/craft big pour was 5.99. I see this as bait and switch advertising and downright criminal for selling a 19oz pour for 9.74 and the bartender can't tell you which beer matches the advertised price. Congratulations! Your beer prices are higher than Nashville's!!! I was looking for a local bar for me and my wife to hang out (just moved here from Nashville) and watch some ball games. I will definitely keep looking. Very disappointed. I've never been to a bar where a bartender didn't ( or couldn't) tell me a price of a beer. read more

I have been waiting to try them out because it's always busy let me say it didn't disappoint. From the time we walked in everything was clean, 2 Bars, and they even had the outside doors open which was really nice. The server was so nice( sorry don't remember his name) but he wore glasses and had a ponytail. The food was amazing, there are TVs everywhere, and to top it off the manager came over and talked to us and asked about our first time experience, he even gave us both a scratch off card.... My wife and I eat here at 153 Friday around 4:00 seems to be a nice place both of us order a half order of ribs and slaw. It came out we looked at it and then at each other so disappointed we started to walk out the ribs where so small and the coleslaw was about two tablespoons $42.03 watch a rip off. Angela was a great server. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We had burgers with fries today. The food is always wonderful here. We have had the shrimp platter, the ribs, pasta, the wings, and many other items. The alcohol is mixed well and not watered down like some places. The Titos lemonade is my favorite. read more

This place is one of my favorite places to eat in Chattanooga. The selection of food on the menu is rather unique. To start off I had the cheese sticks, and they were really good; they are definitely breaded in a panko-like coating, and the cheese was really melty. I had the mountain melt for my main course, and it is a lot of food...so much so that 2 people could practically make a meal off of it. I hadnt eaten all day, so I saved my appetite for the advertised snow crab legs (my bf proposed over Christmas & we were celebrating). After waiting over 45 mins for food, he gets his wings (no fries yet) & I get my crab. The bartender sat my food down & said "we dont have crab crackers or tiny forks right now". I ask why they didnt tell me before sitting my food down. I cant crack crab legs with my hands, so I decide to skip out on dinner, as I didnt want to wait 30+ mins while watching my fiancé eat. I try to crack a leg though, determined to eat, & the knuckle where the legs meet is freezing cold! Bartender offers to warm it up (ew.. microwaved crab?) or bring a new one out. If you cant cook it right & it's on your featured weekly menu, I dont want to attempt it again. Especially seafood. By the time the check should have came, the fries finally come out... & some were cold! I didnt even want to complain anymore. I'm shocked the manager swiped her card to remove my meal, but didnt speak to me once to apologize for the bad experience. I paid for my ticket & left. I paid $30 to watch my fiancé eat but not me.
