Since it was a large group of people attending the event we opted to sit outside where a waitress came out to take our orders. She brought out our drinks quickly, but it took a minute for our food to come out likely because of the large number of people which we understood. The pimento cheese dip was slightly spicy but totally tolerable for me. The pretzels were very soft, with the cheese dip I think those were my favorites. My entree came out of the kitchen piping hot so I knew it wasn't just sitting around as we waited. Over all do not regret stopping by!

Though an address is provided, this Ichabod's Bar & Grille - which I will shorthand simply to Ichabod's for the remainder of this review - is located as a stand-alone business right across the entrance to Paradise Beach. Ichabod's surely has that look of being a dockside restaurant despite being "landlocked," but good luck parking nearby. The parking situation has always been bad around the area. Inside, the seating is limited in which the majority of seating seems to be at the two bars. I guess Ichabod's is catering to a certain demographic pertaining to who dines inside. The next morning I realized from the headache I received but the drink wasn't straw but the vodka must have been below the well it was so low grade. The only other vodka that's ever given me a headache like that after two drinks is ABC house brand and Smirnoff. I'm not sure if it was Smirnoff but it did taste really strong for one ounce of alcohol mixed into a regular 8 oz cup so whatever it was it was undoubtedly cheap. Second time I came here I was up with a party of seven people. The waitress was able to handle our table without any issues. She checked in frequently and gave us regular updates on the kitchen and what was going on with the food and the staffing. Every employee I've contacted at this location has been friendly.
