I've been here several times and it is a really solid option for boozy brunch. I seem to end up here on Sundays and it gets pretty busy so plan accordingly. There is a small bar if you want to kill some time while you wait and get a drink. Seating is somewhat limited but there is plenty of parking b/c it's in a shopping center type area. The service has always been spot on. I love that you're able to order a 40oz of High Life (hey, it's the champagne of beers) but one time they were out. Instead of being like "sorry, too bad", the server offered 4 High Life bottles for the same price (totaling 8oz extra). I love that she came up with and proposed an acceptable solution to the dilemma. In my experience, customer service like that is hard to find and what keeps me coming back. The food is also spectacular and never disappoints. Heck, they even have photo booth you can jump in after you've had one to many Bloody Marys. I visited Millers All Day James Island location for the first time recently with my family and was very impressed! We made a reservation prior to arrival and were quickly seated when we arrived (took about 5-10 minutes). The hostess, server and staff were all very friendly and polite. The food came rather quickly once we ordered and our drinks were never empty. The restaurant has ample parking and located near other shopping establishments. The ambiance is cute and we really enjoyed looking at the various old albums on the wall. On to the food: a lot of us ordered Millers Plate and everything tasted great and well seasoned. The biscuit was a little dry but adding some jam helped (you can ask the server for some) or the butter provided will definitely help. My son ordered the hot honey chicken bacon egg and cheese and really liked it. The biscuit included a big piece of hot honey chicken, bacon, scrambled egg, cheddar cheese, and herb mayo on a brioche bun. Yummy. I almost forgot to mention, the coffee is not bad at all either. Most of us ordered coffee and some even asked for cup to go. If you're looking for a good breakfast or brunch place, try Milkers All Day. If you live on James Island and you're looking for an awesome brunch, Millers All Day is the spot.  We went this past weekend for a surprise early Father's Day brunch, and we got lucky with an open table when we arrived.  The place was popping with other diners and families.   We have been to the downtown location and eaten at the James Island one for dinner, but this was our first brunch.  The James Island one is smaller but still has the awesome décor, the food and service were just as good!   We started out with the cinnamon roll, it was so decadent and that frosting, WOW! I went with the BEC Fried Chicken sandwich, and my wife tried the King Street Bowl.  I love something sweet with the salty, so I ordered 1-side pancake, to round out the brunch.  Everything was so tasty, fresh, and made with that hamade vibes.  We could not finish everything, so we saved some for Linner (Late lunch/Dinner) LOL.   I highly recommend Millers All day, there were so many options it was hard to figure out what to order, the more people you bring, the more you can share! read more

Great brunch spot. Both locations are very cohesive design and service wise. We really enjoy the hot beverage options; as well as the brunch-friendly alcoholic bar offerings. What we had and love: Cinnamon roll Local pop tart Bacon egg and cheese (on a biscuit) Hot honey chicken donut Shrimp and grits Frittata Skip: the okra and stewed tomatoes dish -not giving it 5* because the service always feels rushed and impersonal. They have similar menus but the best part of this location is they have parking (!!) which is a hidden gem especially for brunch. The ambiance is coastal with lots of yellow it is very pretty inside. Our server was attentive and he made sure he constantly checked in with us. I have the butterfly lavender tea. The Cinnabon was large enough to share the icing was demcious but i thought the biscuit was a little dry. Cute little spot that was great for lunch. Service was great - attentive, speedy, and a pleasure to talk to. I ordered the club sandwich and my friend ordered the shrimp blt. We split an order of the home fries too. I enjoy a good club sandwich and this one really hit the spot!! It's a large portion so I walked out completey stuffed. My friend said she enjoyed her shrimp blt and ended up saving half of it for later and said it was still just as good. Amazing! I've been wanting to go to Millet's All Day for well over a year. Thankfully they opened a second location! The food was amazing! I got the King Street Bowl- this is honestly enough for 2 people. It was a lot! My boyfriend got the waffles & they were almost too pretty to eat lol. Our server was awesome as well. Tried to eat at Miller's in Downtown Charleston on a Saturday. BIG mistake. We were told it was an hour and a half wait, and we didn't really want to wait that long, but put our names down anyway because of how much we wanted to eat there. 30 mins went by and then we received a text saying "your wait time is an hour and 40 minutes" yikes!! Can't blame them for being busy. We went the next day to the other location and were told it was a 40 min-1 hour wait, but about 20 minutes later, our table was ready! Slay. I ordered an iced chai, my fav drink! Honestly, I am a super picky about chai. I don't like it super spiced or super sweet OR not sweet at all. This chai was the best I had on our anni trip!! So good. Simple & delish. My husband got a cider that he liked too :) We ordered the smash burger, Hot Honey B.E.C., and the banana bread w/ hazelnut cream cheese. The burger was pretty good but could have used more sauce, I just asked for extra and it was better. My husband's B.E.C. was DELICIOUS and I freaking hate scrambled eggs so there you go. Miller's All Day- I could absolutely stay here ALL day- such a beautiful view and relaxed setting. We sat outside under the attached ceiling of the main restaurant in the gazebo area. They have fans in that area to keep you cool. It was a hot day but the fans helped to cool off the space. I wish I could remember our waitress name, she was super helpful with meal decisions and kept the refills coming. I enjoyed the smash burger, it came with two huge patties, grilled onions, miller's sauce and cheese. You had options to add bacon, an egg, and other tasty bites. It only comes with a burger so you would have to add a side if you like. I added the home fries, they were huge and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. They did not seem like your traditional home fries. My friends loved their meal too, the waffles looked amazing and my niece could barely finish it! My cousin-in law took her's to go as well. We all did! It was a great time. I did , however not enjoy my iced coffee much. Oh the banana bread needs its own paragraph. This was an amazing banana bread with chocolate chips, Nutella, honey and bananas. It's delicious but ohhhh so sweet. We could easily have eaten it all but paced ourselves and removed most of the Nutella for our blood sugar sake...lol. All in all I would return. read more

I'm sorry to write that my experience at Miller's All Day was not a positive one. Arrived at 10:30 am for a late breakfast and ordered a scrambled egg soft, home fries and a side of fruit. The scrambled soft egg was delivered hard and cold. I had to send back. The second go round of scrambled soft request was basically the same looking eggs~ with a browned effect. A little warmer at least. I returned for a third time and finally kitchen got it right~ soft scramble, fresher looking and hot. The home fries I'm still tasting and we're too deeply fried for my taste. The waffle was an average looking small square with weird fixings on the side ~ meringue, miniature popcorn...and they were not complimentary to this dish. As you can assume I will not be returning to Miller's~ too bad as the environment is quite cute and has a diner like feel. In and out seating and a counter are~ my kind of place but the food quality is lacking. Sorry no photos as I had enough problems getting through the meal and left hungry as a result of limiting my intake. Fresh side of fruit and it was good. After two attempts the Mgr decided to stop by and I expressed my dissatisfaction with the plates but he semi- defended the kitchen and was unfair in terms of any type of compensation. I have been to Millers All Day a few times and enjoyed the breakfast, but it's not spectacular. The banana bread with chocolate is very yummy. I also liked the frittata, but it did not have a lot of flavor. I like this place and really want them to do well, but I have not been really impressed with the food so far. Went to Millers All Day for brunch and the wait was around 45 minutes to an hour. This is our first visit in James Island location but our 2nd visit for Millers All Day restaurant. I ordered iced coffee with oat milk that satisfied my coffee craved. Smashed burger with gluten free bread and a side of sautéed vegetables (mushrooms, squash, zucchini). They were so good! I also recommend their watermelon drink ( its watermelon juice, Prosecco, and basil garnish) so refreshing. My husband had biscuits and gravy, its consist of two eggs*, rosemary-sausage gravy, cheddar, pepper jam, pickled okra, chives. Which was not a traditional biscuit and gravy and he didn't like their version of biscuit and gravy. Plus it wasn't warm when it came to our table which our server, Holly, ended up take it off our bill. He also had donut bun (donut with cinnamon sugar sprinkles) it was not on their menu, it was a complimentary from the kitchen. Overall, it was a good experience and great meal for me. Amazing Southern brunch! I prefer this Miller's to the one downtown because I'm able to park in a lot (albeit crowded) and enjoy perusing the flower market next door while I wait. The food is exactly what you'd expect of a southern brunch, fried chicken biscuits with pimento cheese and sausage gravy I mean, what else could you ask for! Service is always top notch and they are great at recommending food or drink items based on cravings and preferences! All around amazing experience. The Watermelon Basil mimosa was so refreshing and those French toast shots are dangerous!!! The food came out super quick but still tasted fresh and didn't taste frozen or mass produced. The Honey Chicken Donut was next level- perfect amount of sweet, perfect amount of kick and perfect portion for one hungry girl! Our server Jenny was super sweet and attentive. The strata featured an awesome sausage gravy and I also got a side of grits that I have not stopped thinking about since. I love this location because the one downtown is near impossible to get into. I came here last night for a friends birthday and the service was great! She was very attentive and also held great conversation. Drinks were amazing, I got the espresso martini and I raved about it. Perfectly creamy and sweet. Food was full of flavor and I love that they make their own pasta in house. I was a bit disappointed in the portion sizes which is why I left a star out. Mine ended up being the perfect amount, but the other guests in my party had very little to their $15-$19 dollar meals. I should taken pictures but I didn't want to be rude to them. I'll certainly be back, I just wish they offered a side WITH the sandwiches. I always find it to be weird that a simple cheap side isn't offered with dishes. Potatoes are very inexpensive and a $15 chicken sandwich should come with a side automatically. My friend, who's birthday we were celebrating, got the shrimp Alfredo and that was super, super yummy but again, was very small for a whopping $19. read more
