Cute breakfast spot close your hotel. Being from the north I was searching for good biscuits. I ordered the eggs meeting street which was a fried green tomato, crab cake, poached egg all stacked and covered with hollandaise sauce. Served with hashbrowns and a biscuit. The tower of eggs and crab cake was good but heavy. You could order single or double and I don't know how someone could eat double it was very rich and heavy. The hashbrowns were crispy and seasoned well but the biscuit was very hard on the outside. The inside was soft though and good with jam. My husband got biscuits and gravy and said the same thing about the biscuits. Overall good and lots more on menu we didn't try.

Im not sure the hype of this place is worth the wait, but overall this place is a decent brunch spot. Joined the online wait list prior, which I highly recommend, and still waited about 45 minutes. Service was friendly but very hectic. I got the crab Benedict which overall wasn't bad. The crab was fresh and the biscuit was very good, eggs were over cooked and sauce was average. They have nice brunch drink options aswell as a full bar. Inside is nice and they have a rather large bar with plenty of seating.

Great place for breakfast and brunch. Right on King Street. We did not get a table on a Friday morning because the wait was around 1 hr. We sat at the bar and were helped by Jackson. The food was great and the cappuccino perfectly made. They serve mimosas all day long!!

Pretty and pink great great drink

As I was walking by I noticed their menu gentlemen came out and changed the menu for the lunch/dinner menu, so we walked in and had lunch there. They made a pizza without cheese...so it was amazing. The service was great the ambience, gorgeous the chef came out and spoke with us. Even the owner came out to talk to us.

Toast! All Day was an interesting restaurant, but I didn't have the greatest dining experience here. There must have been a miscommunication between staff members, because after we were seated, nobody came to serve our table, and we had to ask for a server. We weren't the only people that this happened to, as another group of patrons sat next to us, and then got up and left after not being served for an extended period of time. After flagging down a server, the experience was fine, but nothing spectacular. Out waitress wasn't very attentive, which was a little frustrating because we were on a timeline. This was kind of disappointing, because I really did like the ambiance of the restaurant, and it would have been nice if the experience was representative of that. They had a really cool open-air brick oven for pizzas, and I loved the aesthetic of the bar as well. Luckily, they had a few IPAs in a can, and my friend said that their drink was pretty good as well. All-in-all, Toast! All Day was a cool restaurant, but the poor communication between staff members kind of put a damper on the experience. I would be willing to come back and give it another shot in the future, however.

Came here for some birthday brunch. Had the beignets to start which were just okay. I had the vegetarian omelette and it was good. The home fries were really yummy. Our server was great and funny. The bathroom was disgusting though. Definitely mold in there and liquid coming from the ceiling....

    Hawaii and hibiscus mimosas.

Stopped in for a mimosa and decided to try the beignets as well. Mimosas were delicious, we tried the Hawaii and Hibiscus. I'd recommend either! Our server, Taylor was awesome! We got some recommendations of these to see and do on our visit. We sat on the patio that was well shaded and had a great fan. Inside the restaurant looked Ana, as well!

This place came recommended and we think the recommendation was great! My wife ordered brioche French toast and she loved it. I ordered the double meeting and it was so good. Belle was our server and she was awesome, make sure you get her as your server! The restaurant is very nice. Casual with music playing in the background. Clean and well kept. I liked this place very much. Try them and tell me what you think!

    Florentine Eggs Benedict

We had breakfast here and overall really enjoyed it! The food was tasty, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable--especially for Charleston. The coffee was also great, which is always a plus. The only downside was my eggs Benedict--while the flavor was good, the eggs were cooked solid all the way through instead of being runny like a proper poached egg. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it did take away from the dish a bit. Still, everything else we tried was solid, the service was friendly, and I'd come back again for another breakfast. Definitely a good spot for a casual, satisfying start to the day in Charleston.

V E R Y Tasty Brunch First visit to the Trip Advisor Award Winner for Best Breakfast in Charleston and Toast deserves it. We were walk-ups and a had a very short wait n a bright Sunday fall morning on King Street. We were seated in the main dining room and were quickly tended to by our waiter. Our two spicey Bloody Mary's were very tasty and decent sized pint glasses. We ordered two egg entrees and the Bacon & Ham omelet was terrific - hot and flavorful. The highlight of our Sunday brunch was Toast's huge homemade fresh biscuits - Wow - wonderful served warm. Toast is a success and has a bright interior decor. We saw couples and many families with kids - so a great choice for all. Cheers.

Breakfast all day - well at least until 3:00. Brunch in Charleston is a 'thing' I guess. We got to the restaurant around 2:00, so it wasn't crowded. There is a nice bar too and they say they have great pizza. Being from Connecticut, I'm sure their pizza is great by Charleston standards, but I have big doubts it could compete with Connecticut pizza. So we will stick with breakfast food I had the veggie omelet with grits and a biscuit. Let me say - this was the biggest biscuit I ever saw - and it was good. So were the grits and so was my fluffy omelet. My husband had eggs, biscuit & corned beef hash. And the hash was wonderful. Homemade. So good. Our server was really good too - brought me a to go cup for my second cup of tea (with a new tea bag, honey & lemon). Really nice.

My friend and I sat at our table for about 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. I finally flagged down a waitress, who apologized and explained they were short staffed. She took our drink order, and then a different server came over later to take our food order. I ordered the Mediterranean wrap with no onions, but it came out with onions anyway. Our server was nowhere to be found, so I started picking around them and eating the wrap. A few minutes later, she came back with the corrected wrap, but by then I'd already started eating the first one. The flavors of the wrap were actually good, but the texture of the chicken was awful. It was so off putting that it honestly made me nauseous. I only managed a few bites before I was done, and no one ever asked if everything was okay or why I had barely touched my meal. That said, the restaurant itself is beautiful. The atmosphere is what really stands out. It feels like you're dining inside a church, and I believe it actually is a restored church. Between the stained glass, the artwork, and the writing on the walls, it's a really unique and impressive space. I'd probably come back for drinks because the bar looked like it had a great vibe, and the bartender seemed to be providing excellent service. Next time, I'd definitely sit at the bar, but I don't think I'd order the food again.

We parked in a parking garage right across the street. I think it was $10 to park. This is a farm to table kind of place so the menu changes regularly and it is limited. But the food is incredible. We started with deviled eggs and some sort of oyster app. I'm not much of an oyster guy but they were very good. The deviled eggs were excellent. For my main, I got a 22 ounce ribeye. It was $135! But... it was fantastic. Had mushrooms and some sort of sauce on it and pre sliced which was nice. For sides we got collard greens. They were tasty. This time around I was dining with friends, which meant we got to order a whole bunch of dishes - a foodie's dream. We started with the Hunter Cattle Beef Tartare, topped with shoestring potatoes, smoked cheddar, and egg yolk jam. It was rich, flavorful, and while the presentation looked a bit like dog food, it was otherwise the perfect way to kick off the meal. For the table, we also shared the Roasted Carrots, served with chamomile honey, labneh, puffed rice, candied peanuts, and an olive crumble. I know, carrots aren't always a "must-order," but trust me - they were fantastic. We also couldn't pass up the Hearth-Baked Skillet Cornbread with Broadbent bacon crumble mixed throughout. Southern comfort food!!! For my entree, I ordered the Blueberry & Corn Salad, which was anything but an ordinary salad. Between the BBQ pecans, ricotta salata, bacon fat honey mustard, and fresh seasonal ingredients, every bite was packed with flavor. One friend ordered the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo with compressed cantaloupe, marigold, and leche de tigre. It was bright, refreshing, and beautifully plated. Our other friend opted for the South Carolina Golden Tilefish, served with Kindlewood Farms summer squash and serrano, and it, too, was a hit. For drinks, one friend enjoyed a glass of wine while I ordered the Dragoon Punch. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed to learn my beloved Primrose Path was no longer on the menu. I even asked if they could make one, but unfortunately they were missing one of the ingredients. No worries, the Dragoon Punch was delicious and a worthy replacement. Our server, Tal H., was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, informative, and guided us through the ever-changing menu with ease. Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed.
