I had some scuffing and paint that was removed from the front bumper of my Grand Cherokee by a parking lot hit and run. The account manager stated that to fix the car 100% would require removing a lot of trim and painting the entire bumper and fender which would be expensive. Because no actual body work was required, he suggested that they tape and paint only the damaged area which would get it to 99% and would be much cheaper. We went that route. I was honestly expecting to be able to see where the repair was if you really looked hard. They did such a nice job, I would challenge anyone to find the repaired area. In addition to that, they had it done in one day and the service was great. The employees were on top of everything, from the ladies at the front desk, to the account manager, to the guys doing the work. Hopefully I don't require their services anytime soon, but they would be the first I'd call. read more

I bought my highlander preowned and it came it that clear protection on the front hood. Over the last few years, it's worn down, cracked, become moldy and startes chipping off taking with the paint. Horrible! I tried a few places and they either didn't want the fix it or didn't bother to call me back. Miller's took the job and did a beautiful job! They did in less than a week and rhe price was reasonable! Well worth the value as now my sale value is improved again. They cleaned up my headlight covers too. No more yellow tint! My friendly Discount Tire representatives recommended I reach out to Miller Auto for assistance in changing my tire over to a spare until I can take it in for service. The man that answered the phone interrupted me multiple times, questioned how I got his number & then told me to tow the car instead of having the tire changed to a spare. He then started to question my weekend plans when I said I wanted to just have a spare on until Monday (it's Friday). I brought my car in on a Monday and the repairs took 14 days. The total cost in damages was slightly over $2000. Think fender bender. I was kept up to date the entire time, which is why I'm giving them 2 stars. Also, the work was done well. From what I understand, it waited to be painted for several days, and then, when it did get painted it had to be repainted... after waiting in line again. I accumulated $250 in rental car fees despite my insurance covering a portion of it. I expressed my displeasure to Steve, the general manager, who apologized for the lengthy repair and assured me he would cover the $250. After multiple phone calls and emails, he has yet to reimburse me for the $250. I've never experienced such a delay in auto body repair, and I will NEVER take my car here again. read more

Nobody wants to be at the body shop. Nobody wants a wrecked car. But, if you're in the situation where you need a body shop, Miller's is the place to go. I've had the misfortune to have had our cars at Miller's four times in the four years we've lived in Houston. (Houston drivers, right?) Rob has always made the time to thoroughly explain the problems, what needed to be done and what we could expect during the process. The first time I was there, I had a lot of questions after the car was ready. Rob took the time to show me where the previous owner had shotty work done and explained what Miller's had done to repair the car from my wife's accident as well as what they could and could not repair from the prior poor work. The second time I went to Miller's was after Hurricane Harvey. We had some minor paint damage to both of our cars. On the first car, they were able to buff out the damage. No charge. Seriously, who does that? They could have charged me $500. The second car required more work, but it came back looking like new for less than the insurance estimate. Our more recent experiences have been the same. Great communication from Rob. Exceeding our expectations for quality and timeliness. Never overcharging and always working to ensure we were satisfied! I hope I never need to go back. But, if I ever need body work again, which is inevitable in Houston, Miller's is the only place I'll go. read more

My car had some rear bumper damage in an accident, which was repaired quickly and expertly - but Millers also buffed out some other superficial ding/scratches on the sides of my car that were unrelated to my accident claim, and they did it for free. ((((((((DO NOT TAKE YOU CAR THERE))))))) I took my SUV for some engine problems, it was leaking oil, after a week and various tests and $1,800 they claimed it was fixed...drove home fine, parked in the garage and the next day a pool of oil on the floor. They sent for it and took them another week or so to repair, after another $2500...I picked it up and it was not running normal so took it back, it took them 30 days, back and forth with another shop to finally figure out what was wrong... so after already had paid them about $4,000, the final repair was going to be another $5,000, so I told them to fix it, I was at their mercy.... Believe me when I say I got "Taken" when I picked it up it was still not running like it used to, they wanted to keep it longer...yeah sure. After 30 plus days of chasing the mechanic to give me an update, which was late or never and almost $9,000 out of pocket, I took my SUV home and later to a different shop just to find out it needed about $10,000 of engine work so I ended up selling it. This is the reason why I don't trust ANY Mechanics any more, I will never again take any vehicles there for repair nor recommend this shop to anyone!!!! This happened to me a while back and luckily I have all the receipts, text messages and voice mails from the mechanic, so I showed this to a friend of mine and they told me based on all the documents that I can get my money back, since I did some research and I'm within the statue of limitations, I think I'm going to do something about it and wont let them get away with this. Well for starters, my truck arrived at their shop September 21st , that day started my 30day rental policy with insurance .. the whole time my truck has been here I have NOT had ANY updates about the progress or ANYTHING ! Not to mention the first guy who name was Fred had my truck & left in the process , I mean I don't blame him , but some communication from the shop itself would of been nice ! Let's NOT forget how many times I've called to speak with the manager & I GET THE SAME EXACT RESPONSE EVERY SINGLE TIME " He's not in , he's stepped out , he's at lunch , etc " SAD part is I went to the shop Monday October 24th , 3 days AFTER I was told my truck was gone be fixed by the 21st , waited over an hr for the new guy James , who now has my truck , & the manager .. & neither showed up before I had to leave for work ! I was told Monday before I left that "customer service was their #1 priority" but yet they DONT WANT TO COVER my rental due to their MISTAKES of ordering multiple after market bumpers for NONE of them to fit , which caused the delay in me getting my truck back ON TIME ! in all honesty , I WOULD NOT recommend this shop to a soul , even if they was the ONLY ones on this planet ! WOW! When you call, ask for Jean, she provides the best customer service and has extensive knowledge of the repair shop. When I first had my Mazda towed to Miller's it had been at another repair shop for a little more than a week. In that time, the other shop had quoted me over $2K for a clutch repair and gone back and forth on what the repair actually was. They had also managed to knock out my right rear tail light completely. Once it got to Miller's they immediately took pictures and kept me updated every step of the way. They quoted me a more reasonable price for a clutch repair (around $1K). They helped me hunt down the insurance in regards to approving my claim and payment to begin work on my car. Once approved, it took about 3 days to complete repairs on my clutch, right before Fourth of July weekend. As my car was getting cleaned inside and out for me when the owner noticed that my rear tail light was smashed. He had been informed that the other shop had done this as I hadn't had my car in over a month. He told the customer service manager, Jean, "How can you fix someone's car and then put them on the road like that?" He then took it upon himself to fix my tail light and not charge me for it. Incredible! I could not believe it! Even though it was a small item, $100 out of pocket for me, it meant so much to me that they actually cared enough to go that extra mile for me. I would recommend them to anyone getting car repair work done, their prices are fair, the customer service is impeccable, and the work is top quality. After having the worst car experience ever (not having my car for over a month) Miller's turned that all around for me, I wish I had gone there to begin with. read more

This is the first time having my car serviced at Miller's Auto & Body Repair and I must say, the service is top notch. I found them through google search via location and called to address my concern on my car. The technicians were very patient to and took the time to LISTEN. 'I changed out my car battery and was able to get the ignition to start. New battery, ...Success! He lives!!! At this point, I knew it wasn't a car battery issue because it wasn't an easy start when I turned the key in the ignition. I can hear the engine crank and it was either going to die or start. It started twice more but very slowly. I drove it around for half an hour to the let the engine run. This time around, after turning my car off for an hour, I tried starting it again. It kept cranking and cranking with no luck starting but the lights/electronics would be on. I did a lot of reading and research on whether it's a starter issue, alternator issue, ignition issue, and/or all of the above. Tried a few tricks here and there with no luck getting it to fully start.' Miller's tow service came to the rescue. As busy as they were, the wait was very minimal. I had hoped they would jump start my car to avoid their towing fee. John, the tow guy, was very helpful. He tried to jump start it several times. He looked at my car battery/engine and tried several more times. In the end, it was to be towed. He said it sounds like the starter. We ended towing my car to Miller's Auto & Body Repair shop. Luckily, the shop was super close to where I live. Yay! Albert, who I spoke to on the phone, was there and took care up of me immediately upon on my arrival. He was excellent and remembered everything I said. He started my car and just as John pointed out, it was indeed the starter that was creating the issue in getting my car to start. Rather than getting a brand new starter which would've cost me an arm and a leg, Albert recommended rebuilding the starter on my Hyundai. I had no idea that starters and alternators can be rebuilt on most foreign cars, good to know! I got to the car shop late and it was going close in less than an hour. Albert was super nice and offered to even drop me off. Wow, talk about service! He even offered to pick me up. He gave me an estimate and I was super happy with the price. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! I got in a fender bender about a month ago, very simple car accident with about a week wait initially. The week went by and I hadn't gotten one call from Millers regarding my car so I assumed it would be finished at the originally scheduled time. I took off work so I could go get it, give them a call before I leave the house and one of the guys, RJ told me it would be another week before a part was able to get there. I was frustrated with the lack of communication but understood that stuff happens and the insurance was able to cover another week so no worries. It would've been no worries, except for the next 3 weeks after that, the same exact thing happened. RJ would tell me my car would be ready, would never call for updates and then when I took off work, he'd tell me it isn't done. So you can imagine, each week is going by and I'm getting more and more impatient. So about my 15th time calling them without them calling me at all, RJ tells me that it'll be done on Monday the 18. He says that I can return my rental car and be there by 4-6 to pick up my car. I arrive at 5:30 and he walks up with a big smile and says "man I forgot to call you again!" And proceeds to tell me that the car still isn't finished and they had to reattach the bumper and put a new light in. Something they had said they had been doing for about 2 weeks. So now I have no car and have to Uber home. RJ calls me on my way home and tells me how sorry he is and that he wants to make it up to me by personally delivering the car to my house or work the following day for the inconvenience. I'm very understanding and polite with him and we decide that he's gonna call me in the morning when it's finished. Fast forward to the following day at 2:00 and I'm calling him yet again trying to find out the status because yet again I haven't received a call. He said that it's finished and they're just detailing it and he would bring it by my work at 5:30. I again, scheduled time off so that I could be available for him. 5:30 rolls by and I get no call, I call RJ's cell and there's no answer. I call the shop and the receptionist tells me that he's at an "after work meeting" and is unavailable to talk. He texts me around 7:30 and says that "if I haven't already figured it out, he won't be able to bring my car to me" again, no call. Ever. He then sends me pictures of my car with NO BUMPER ON IT and says that it still isn't finished and they have to reattach the bumper. Mind you this is 3 hours after telling me it was finished and they were detailing it. I've now had to get police involved in order to forcibly remove my car from their possession because they clearly don't know what they're doing and I'm $40-$60 out of pocket for ubers every day now. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. By far the most unprofessional, unorganized, insensitive company I have ever dealt with. Not just in the car industry, but any industry. I would recommend trying to fix your car on YouTube with your friends before taking it to these idiots. read more

I found this garage after a search for a CarMax-affliated garage. CarMax was booked up for the next two weeks, but my vehicle needed immediate attention. I took a chance on Miller's. I wish I could write the experience was satisfactory. The engine matter seems to have been fixed. My problems came when Miller's tried to bill me for the service rendered. I have an extended warranty that I took care to mention to the mechanic before work began on my vehicle. Under my warranty, there is no out of pocket expense if the repair is deemed to be covered by my warranty. The mechanic told me the service was covered under my warranty -- well and good. Then he tried to charge $50.00 for the repair. Under my warranty, $50.00 would be a fee for a non-Carmax affiliated garage. Miller's did not seem to know it is affilated with CarMax or didn't think I know the terms of my warranty. I had to make a call to my warranty provider to verify my information was accurate. Then Miller's presented me with an invoice for $405! Again, I had to remind them under my warranty, I pay nothing; no deductible. As if this weren't enough, the Miller's mechanic took the hood support rod from my vehicle and didn't replace it. Over the years I've had oil changes, and other engine checks and each time my support rod remained with my vehicle. Thinking I'd never see the auto part again I had to purchase a replacement rod over the Internet. It took four days and 2 phone calls for Millers inexplicably to return my missing support rod. I was also compensated for the cost of the new rod that I purchased. Even so, the series of mix-ups is unacceptable. A vehicle owner is already stressed from having the vehicle break down, not to mention facing a possibly unaffordable unexpected expense for repairs. The stress and bother I experienced in this case would make me not recommend this garage to anyone. read more

Decide for yourself. I was in a major accident and was taken away by ambulance. I had an expensive pair of Maui Jim sunglasses IN THE ARMREST CONSOLE.along with $8.00 in cash. The car was towed to Millers. I went to their lot 2 days later and noticed the sunglasses and money were missing from INSIDE THE ARMREST CONSOLE. I complained to the manager and asked if the wrecker driver worked for him and he replied no. I demanded my sunglasses back and didn't care about the money I later learned that the driver did work for Millers. The next day, he called me and said that my sunglasses were found in the back of my car. So while the accident caused anything in the car to fly forward, my armrest console opened and sent my glasses to the very rear of the car and the money evaporated. When I got the car to my repair service I was then shown how my battery cables were cut and the battery was removed. Miller's blames the missing battery on the fire dept. The fire dept tells me that the battery is removed only when required. It was not required on my car and the fire dept report shows no mention of battery removal. So again, you decide. read more

The tow truck driver is a moron. I watched as he lifted my car up while catching the bumper, forcing the lower portion to split and pop out. I told him to stop and that it's catching the bumper but instead he yells at me and tells me that he knows what he's doing. Yeah sure.. after 4 or 5 attempts to reseat the attachment to the wheels, he finally gets it to not touch. Then he proceeds to yell at me and say "SEE? YOUR BUMPER IS MISSING EVERYTHING!!". I was confused and asked.. missing what? "EVERYTHING!!" ... uh.. what EXACTLY is it missing? Turns out this idiot meant that nothing is catching on my bumper. I'm inspecting the tow hookup with a light on my phone, and when he asks to see it, not even 10 seconds into holding it he drops it onto the concrete and scratches it up. So now i have a scratched up car AND phone. NOT ONLY THAT, but the worst part is that I get shafted for $160 for not even a 10 minute tow. He claims it's some city contracted rate, which I couldn't find anywhere when I got home. The crap icing on top of my night was having to listen to him drone on and on about cars just because he sees that mine is modified. Not only does he not know what the hell he is talking about, but he is just overall unpleasant to be around. I just fake it well and mustered through it until I got my car home. read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM Millers! If i could give negative stars i would! I did not even have my vehicle repaired there and my experience was terrible! My vehicle was towed to their lot after an accident, I gave the wrecker driver the key but when I showed up to get some of my things out of it I was told "you did not give us keys". After going round and round with them they found the key, they had it tagged as a white ford explorer but my vehicle is a grey ford escape. It was at this point I decided to go with another body shop. I signed all the forms the needed for me to have another shop to come get the vehicle. When the other shop tried to get the vehicle they were told that I had not signed the release to have my vehicle picked up by them, which I had the day before. I then called and asked why they had told the other shop that, response was " ohh, umm, we just haven't entered it into the computer yet, they can come get it. It took another two days for them to release the vehicle to the new shop and when they did they told the driver I did not give them the key. At this point I had to leave work, go to Millers remind them that they had marked the key wrong and then take it to the new shop. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! read more
