The food was great! I got a patty melt and my wife got the pimento cheese/bacon burger. Her spiced pear margarita was great (the bartender made sure she was happy with it after initially not being able to taste the pear). I had two cold Red Oaks. The staff was super. It had a great family feel for a "sports bar". Several families were there having fun. We played darts for an hour and laughed more than we had in months.

Side of bad guacamole anyone? I'm so sad that this place has such terrible food I really wanted it to succeed because it is needed in this community It's a very unique place for all ages Lots of TVs for watching football bowling games darts it's such a great location Something needs to be stepped up with the food though Not good Please come here if you want to play games or go bowling or watch football and have some beer, but don't order food

Well Village Square tap house, it is a bar but it's a dang good place to hang out with friends. I…read morethink every weekend they have a live band either on Friday or Saturday night but we went to their Halloween party last week. LevelXperience was playing, which is an all-girls band and they were awesome! But they have two bars for service because they had recently bought the area beside them and now it's full of arcade games which are pretty fun as an adult after you've been drinking a bit. On one side they do have adult slushies. They have added more bathrooms and more pool tables, if you enter on the arcade side and they have a band you will need to pay an entrance fee. There's a local Dart group that competes each week and I know they have Super Bowl parties which includes food and prizes. The funny thing is, I asked the bartender on the arcade if they have Red Stripe, she said Yes, of course, it's been awhile since I've heard it called that!." Now she looked to be 24-28ish and bless her heart- she handed me a PBR. I looked at the bottle and was going to say something but hey, of course we all know PBR does have a red stripe in the label. But nonetheless, good prices and fun times. Plenty of people to sing along and dance with or play a round of pool. The Green Tea shots here are the best I've had anywhere. Plenty of parking and you are basically 10 feet away from the late night Taco Bell menu to help absorb the alcohol. If you're looking for a a quiet spot for a few minutes away from the music, they have an outdoor area to the right of the building, it is accessible without going inside first. You will have to show ID or your wristband at every entrance and the place is large enough to host a birthday party, a Friendsgiving get together or GNO, there's a hotel close by in case you go for their New Years Eve PARTY. A few of my friends and I actually had a hilarius Christmas photo shoot at VS Taphouse about 10 years ago. So good try a new cocktail for fall and get your pinball game on-Saturday and Sunday they open at 12 noon if you just want to take the kids to play a few old school arcade games.

Pool and darts offered however dart boards and darts were in very rough shape. Didnt get a chance to play pool so i cant comment on those conditions. Would i come back? Maybe.. but definitely wouldnt go out of my way to grab a beer here

I am very disappointed with this restaurant. I had a lunch meeting scheduled for a cancer group I…read moream in, and it was my first time eating at this restaurant. Due to several health issues I am dealing with, I need to be able to check the nutritional information on the food before I order. I contacted the home office in Raleigh a week before my lunch to ask for the nutritional information. The automated reply said I would hear back in 24-48 hours. I never heard back. I ended up calling the restaurant the day before my scheduled lunch, and was passed from person to person. At one point, I was told they were a scratch kitchen, but in the next sentence was told they could get some nutritional information from Sysco. That doesn't sound like a scratch kitchen to me. Anyway, in the end, I was emailed a very old list with half the items crossed off, that did not match their current menu. I ended up having to play it safe and just ordered the garden salad with grilled chicken and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Carolina Ale House has 22 locations nationwide. The FDA requires that any restaurant with 20 or more locations and similar menus at each location have printed nutritional information available to customers upon request.

From the minute we walked in, we were greeted promptly and seated at our reservation time. They even had handbag clips to put on the edge of the table so we didn't have to put our purses on the floor - loved that! Everything we ordered tasted so good! We got the Rice Paper Tacos as appetizers. They came out looking like art on a plate and they were very gracious to tell us that there's not a wrong way to eat it. I got the Korean BBQ Beef as my entree and it hit the spot! My friend got the Modern Tuna Nicoise as her entree and it looked too pretty to eat, but she said it was delicious! For dessert we got the Passion Fruit Panna Cotta. It was the best way to end the night. We enjoyed our meals and the service was top-notch! Ambiance was nice-we sat in the outdoor area and they had a nice simple table display with a small table lamp that I was intrigued by. I'd never seen one so small but what I liked about it was that it didn't take up space on the table. Usually, the displays take up more space than the food sometimes, so I appreciate the little details. If you've never been to Betty on Burke-you must! I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely come back. PS- they validate parking so you don't have to pay the 3rd party parking system in their lot- HUGE plus!

We came here because it was rated highly on Yelp and near the old interstate we were driving on. Why not:)!? Korean barbecue bowl was good with some nice chilled cucumbers. Salty for my taste. Wedge salad was not really a wedge and our retweet for dressing on the side didn't work out. Also salty. Rice paper tacos looked good but were very hard to eat. Thank you Yelp for the recommendation. Not my favorite place ever but very solid.
