We only had a very small job, but MilleStone treated us like we were redoing the entire house. Great service, fabrication and installation.

I came in for a remnant and was referred by AZ Tile. The person helping me was very nice. I came back a second time and picked out the 2 options I wanted. The person that knew the prices wasn't there. I waited a day or so and came back in with my old piece of granite that is around 4 foot by 2 foot. I was told in the beginning these small remnants cost around $300. Then when I was given the prices it was closer to $1,200. I was told that was for cutting it. The countertop I needed just a 4x2 rectangle and the remnant was already almost exactly that size. I asked and was told there is no way to know how how much the labor costs vs. the 4x2 foot remnant. If you can help me still I'd appreciate it. I also need other countertops as well. Thanks. read more

I used them the first time for my kitchen and thought they were great, so I hired them for my bathroom room. I think another reviewer used them a second time as well and was not satisfied. Maybe there is something to the second time around with them. It was the worst experience ever!!!! Communication was horrible. I was given wrong information over and over as well as information that did not make sense. It took over 3 weeks to do a small bathroom. The owner who I originally thought was a super guy really disappointed me as well. At one point he was tried talking to me like I was a child. I could go on. I had 2 more projects that I'd planned to use them for thank god I was saved. My other projects were completed for way less than what they charged and the craftsmanship is at a whole different level the two do not compare. If I could do it again I would make sure to talk to others first. So sorry I did not look around sooner. They just were so good the first time who knew. read more

I was referred to them by Arizona Tile and Stone. I met with Nancy and explained what my project was. We went out into the yard and low and behold they had slabs of granite that matched my existing. I was thrilled because I thought it was no longer around. She got Mark the owner to write me a quote for my 24"x60 top for an island countertop. No cutouts just a slab with a full bullnose. The quote came back at over $1100.00 for the material and over $480.00 to fabricate it. That's over $150.00 a square foot. After thinking on it overnight I decided that was just too high. I asked them to revise it. They came back at $100.00 less. Then they told me fabrication was included which was totally contrary to the original quote. I said No,Somethings fishy. I asked if I was buying the entire slab. She told me no only what I needed for my project. In the meantime, I visited a few more fabricators exploring my options and I ran across one who was familiar with the owner of Millestone. I was told that back in the day he was one of the few people here in the valley that could pretty much charge what he wanted and apparently he was still doing it. Next I got an email from Millstone saying don't disrespect my employees, blah, blah, blah with a new price. I asked if his price was what I wanted and he never answered. Bottom line here Millstone came off to me as a company that made me believe that he was the only company that had what I needed and refused to give me a fair and decent price and answer my questions. Nancy said they pride themselves on having smaller pieces to accommodate shoppers for their smaller projects. In the end they were going to sell me an entire slab, make my top and keep the leftovers with the hope to resell it. That's just deceitful. I am happy report that a much larger company stocks my material and has over 13 slabs and has given me a better price than Millestone and I have placed my order without all the bullshit Millestone likes to put people through. He likes to say he has 40 years in the business and wouldn't if ran a shoddy business. Well, I just thought the rest of the public should know. When Arizona Tile referred me to him, I was happy and I even called them to thank them for the referral. They were happy for me. It's a shame that Arizona Tile and Stone doesn't know the horrible service offered by someone they recommended but I will tell them he's not a very reputable company. Sorry Millestone, You had a chance to earn my business and you let greed,deceit and lies get in the way. read more

Yesterday was my first experience with Millestone. I used them to restore a marble floor and Juan did an excellent job. I have used other refinishers before and have never been as satisfied with the results as with this company. We had a crack in our Granite Kitchen Counter adjacent to the sink. It also started to chip away at the edge of the crack. Mille Stone"s Cameron DeMille was an artist. He was able to remove the crack and clean out rust from the reinforcement bar, re-glue and form a near perfect seam. What was even more impressive is how he rebuilt the section that had chipped away. His knowledge of the origin of the problem (the use by some suppliers to reinforce narrow sections with substandard metal bars that eventually rust and expand causing cracks) made his repairs even more effective in that he addressed the root cause. Unlike many contractors, Cameron took his time and patiently did the entire job, not a quick gloss over. He even came back a second time because he was not satisfied with the materials used to rebuild the chipped section. We highly recommend this company, for the quality of the craftsmanship, their communication with the customer and fair pricing. read more

At first I was very happy with Millestone for the master bathroom then l had the other bathroom done last week. The job was done so sloppy with the backsplash grout that I have to hire a painter to come in and fix it because Mark the owner said he would not repair it. He did. not come over to look at it and had to send pictures to his staff to show him what happened. Also was told one thing by the salesman and when I was told something different from the customer service rep. tile was on backorder after he said it was in a week prior from the customer service she practically called me a liar and started yelling at me on the phone..when she found out I was right there was no apology given at all. She is very unprofessional . So disappointed in this company. Someone should at least come out and see the work before you make a decision to fix or not to fix. The bathroom I waited so long to have done has turned out to be a nightmare. read more
