Forget having an anti-homeless bathroom policy, this place seems to have a whole anti-customer bathroom policy. On your first step in you can already feel the hostile air from every employee that sees you across the room. Absolutely rancid vibes with how smug they are about how their restrooms are for customers only. Nothing wrong with having a policy like that but they are so rude about it, making you go through a whole separate kiosk just to get the key to the bathroom. It's not that it's a difficult process, but they make it seem like simply asking an employee for a key or bathroom code is beneath them and shows a level of contempt for homeless people, their own customers, and anyone with a bladder. I was going to give this place 2 stars for at least having jasmine green tea that wasn't terrible but the AI slop signs were just so extra insulting that it knocks it all the way down to 1 star and convinced me to write this review. If you want good boba/tea, Gong Cha is just down the sidewalk. If you want those fluffy pancakes, Sharp Tea is in Weller Court across the street. A bit on the pricey side, and they do warn you that the pancakes do take a bit more time which is something to consider if you're in a time crunch. The worst service. I was there on a Monday night after dinner. All the other dessert places were PACKED but this place was empty. My niece wanted to go to the bathroom really bad but knowing we should pay and buy something first I rushed to order one drink so my little one can go to the bathroom first and then once done order more when the other kids could figure out there order. I put my order in and ask for the bathroom code. The lady was barely helpful. The code was also super hard to deal with but she didn't help. Her attitude was so bad after the bathroom I didn't want to buy any more. Especially because my son who loves these drink had a taste and said it was so nasty. I had a sip and it was this super sour cheap tasting slush. No wonder this place was empty. The low review also speaks volume. Miss cheese replaces my previously favorite Boba shop in all of LA, Milk+T, and the space looks exactly the same. Not sure if the owners of Miss cheese chose to keep the interior design unchanged for the most part, but it was a shout out to the previous store as some of the same artwork continues to decorate the wall today. In line with the previous shop, Miss cheese also provides a menu full of high priced desserts, except the price is so outrageous that even I couldn't justify it. $20 for a dessert, not including tax, and with a wait time of 20 minutes. Not sure how the shop stays in business, but I am sad to share the famous souffle pancake trend of Japan were not worth the time or the money that Miss cheese asked me to spend. read more

We didn't get any so I can't write about it but a lot of people were walking out with colorful drinks. I was looking for something sweet to have and I stumbled across this place. Upon entering, I noticed a kiosk right away and I just decided to order. It was a little complicated but not extremely difficult. After placing the order I saw a sign that said you have to order through the kiosk. This place has a cute ambiance to it. There is a little mini pool table, board games and free arcade games. It made the wait feel quick. I did see they had a machine where the keys for the restroom are kept. I didn't end up needing the restroom but good to know they have one. I ordered the Oreo pancakes and after taking my first bite I could tell they were really eggy. Not the best in my opinion. I didn't finish them and went to the cash register to ask for a box to go. Right away they seemed irritated and asked if I was ordering. I told them I just needed a box to go and they said they would bring one out. We got the original souffle and a matcha flavored bubble tea. 50% sweetness. The drink itself was a 7/10 but the boba was strange and one of the worst I've ever had. It was grainy and disintegrated. Also the Boba doesn't fit through the straw! You have to suck really hard lol. And the souffle was...well, it had no taste. Like if you took an egg pancake and extract the flavor out of it. That's the only way I can express what I experienced. I am assuming people might come eat it for the toppings. But for me, it was a 1/10. Oh, and we said goodbye but the employee ignored us. My Mom and Sister ordered the Signature Taro Milk w/ Boba. Base price is $6.75, then they charge an additional $1.00 for boba, and $1.25 for coconut/soy milk. I ordered the Royal Milk Tea with Boba. It contained evaporated milk, and I requested 25 percent sweetness. I liked the fact that you can request less ice. Everything is extremely pricey. I did not really care for my milk tea. Maybe because it had evaporated milk, I'm not sure. It was just not on par with other milk teas that I've enjoyed for a lesser price. The Soufflé was tiny for $14.99. It was very soft and fluffy, served with a brûlée topping, and some kind of whipped cream on the side. It was good but too small for the price. But we had a nice time nevertheless. Service was fine and interior vibe was relaxed, and customers seemed to be having a good time. I ordered the soufflé pancakes and I personally did not like them but my bf ended up finishing the rest. It has a very strong egg flavor & the texture is very very soft so if that's your thing I would say try them. The service wasn't really there other than just bringing the plate to you. I'm giving this cute little shop extra love because we went in the day after curfew had been lifted for DTLA and Little Tokyo. I'm not unfamiliar with these but this one was a little tricky because there were so many options! I came in because they advertise Italian like sodas. And it was a warm day in Los Angeles, we were getting ready to go back to the car, and that just sounded like a lovely treat for the drive back to our hotel in Anaheim. Thankfully I got through the menu without too many issues and my almost $10 soda was ready to be made. I was a bit surprised at the price but it is what it is. The nice lady working behind the counter got started right away and it was ready within a couple minutes. I mean it was a fairly easy order but still it was nice that it came out so fast. It was also pretty! I wasn't expecting it to be so pretty! If we had time we probably would have stayed around and looked at the games or just enjoyed the ambience but we were on timed parking and I had to get back to the car. I actually really loved this drink and wish that instead of 50% sweet I had done 75% sweet. That would have put it over the top but that was my failure, not the person preparing it. Take a look at the picture and tell me this isn't gorgeous! Overall I really enjoyed my little drink and I wish I was closer so we could try some other things on the menu. They specialize in these beautiful soufflé pancakes however I couldn't get information on how they were made and give and I'm pretty sensitive to gluten I had to stay away. They gave me half a scoop of boba which was clumpy, old, and not warm. 3-4 of them were stuck together at a time & I couldn't get the boba clusters up my straw. I ordered 50% sweetness but it tasted like 10-20% sweetened. The cheese foam had a slight tang, I couldn't even finish the drink. I've had other cheese foams at happy lemon, and miss cheese is by far the worst cheese foam I've had in LA. I was worried I'd get a stomach ache after drinking the cheese foam. I would give miss cheese 1 star for the taste, service and price. But they have free arcade games including Pac-Man and street fighter. Anyone with mobility issues,a bad bladder, visual impairments, or even just a little old and slow won't make it.
