The mills market is rather busy and parking is not the best. The summer rolls are huge and delicious. The drinks at banh mi where I have had their Thai green tea it is bright green color with great flavor. I tried the strawberry tea today that was good and not very sweet. Kai Kai has great food with choices of duck, pork, chicken dumplings and rice. On the list of other places to try is curry and the flavored ice. Came here on a Saturday night. It was definitely a little harder to get parking. It was busy but not overly crowded. The lines was moved quickly and you're able to get numerous foods from different restaurants. It was not as expensive, I was able to get the roast duck dish, the Vietnamese chicken sandwich and a lobster rice ball for about $35. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming and so are the workers from different stations. I would definitely come back here. This was my first time going to Mills market and I decided to go to their 2-year anniversary. They're luau anniversary party was a lot of fun. You paid one ticket price and got to eat as much as you wanted from the different vendors. As you can see from the photo, there were a lot of food options. I do like how they had smaller size portions so I could try more of the food. It was also nice that a lot of the vendors were offering food that they sell during the day so I could see what I would want to come back for. Some of the standouts were cowboy Curry. Their Curry was really flavorful. Kai Kai had these incredible green curry mussels and chicken wings. Because there were so many vendors and people there wasn't many areas to sit down. So I definitely couldn't stay for the entire event. All of the vendors were really friendly and let you know if things were running out before they could restock. The Mills Market is one of my favorite places in downtown Orlando. I ordered from Banh Mi Boy this time for a quick bite. The summer roll is the perfect amount when you're not too hungry but still in the mood for something deliciously crafted. I ordered the passion fruit juice which was tart and sweet. This is really cool Asian food hall. It has gotten a lot better since the first time I visited. The seating is better and the lines aren't horrendous at Kai Kai anymore. I love the chow fun noodles and the Chicken and pork platters at Kai Kai. There's still so much to try there. At Banh Mi Boy I've had a make your own summer roll. I do want to try their Banh mi sandwiches, lots of options. I tried unigirl, the unigiri(eel) that was good and simple. They have a new cookie vendor with Asian flavors, a new sushi spot which I haven't tried yet and they have cowboy curry. They will let you sample the sauce so you can see if it is a flavor profile for you. They also have drinks and Asian buns and other appetizers and desserts in the market. Came for the food and stayed for the photobooth! Mills Market has a great selection of bites, including onigiri and bahn mi, but my favorite part of the market has to be the Photo Booth. I've never seen a Photo Booth this high tech and with this many options for templates and filters in my life. My friends and I got two different strips of photos and they each cost $10. This place is a little hidden gem. The Asian food scene has really grown so much in Orlando over the last 10 years. It's quite impressive. This place is the pinnacle of that, they have a Korean market, banh mi, dim sum, katsu curry, onigiri place and more. All nestled within this little food hall. I wasn't too hungry so I didn't have enough space to try everything I wanted, but Uni girl had their special Sea bream onigiri which is not always there, so I had to try it. It was so delicious. Mills market is one of our favorite places to go to because of the variety of food. We love UniGirl the unigiri options are all delicous. Our favorite flavor is the salmon one. They do sell out quick so make your way there early. So I am a big foodie! But desserts are my favorite. The Saigon Snow is just to die for. My favorite flavors are mango and strawberry. This is an awesome place to grab bites from a couple different stalls. The parking lot gets packed quickly, but there is a lot of street parking if you're willing to walk a couple blocks. This is what we did, we drove a couple blocks away and grabbed street parking. Luckily it was still pretty plentiful at 11:30 AM on a Sunday, but it was getting busier by the time we left. It is rather small inside, so there's no guarantee that you'll get a table. I would recommend having the back up plan of grabbing food to go. There were some standing tables when we were there, and since we didn't have the option of grabbing food to go I'm glad there was. I tried a couple of the stands and it was absolutely delicious, you should go to each individual food stall yelp page to see what people think, but I'm pretty sure there's no dud in the bunch. This isn't a huge, beautiful food hall, but that's not the point. The point is having a lot of good food all in one place in this place definitely delivers. This place has been getting some buzz so I wanted to go check it out. I wouldn't consider myself a connoisseur of Asian cuisine and I often get quite picky so I was concerned. I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean nice and well decorated the space was. I ended up ordering spring rolls which were the best I've ever had. I also got the scallion, pancakes and pork, shrimp dumplings of course I had to try their famous fresh squeezed sugarcane juice as well. Everything tasted fantastic. Service was very friendly. This place is always so bustling with people on the weekends! But it's because all the kiosks are top notch. Kai Kai is tops for their delicious char sui and duck. Bahn Mi Boys make my fave crispy pork Banh Mi. The fatty pork and the crisp veggies are a winning combo. Uni Girl makes the best onigiri.. you can't go wrong with the crispy chicken and their tuna is my go to. You wouldn't think tuna could taste so good! I haven't tried Cowboy Curry or Saigon Snow yet. We went back to Mills a few weeks ago to try the Lucky Lunar Night Market and it was incredible! We did the earlier entry, which was so worth it. The food was all you can eat and it was all SO GOOD. I believe some of the vendors were regulars from Mills, and some had come just for the event. They gave out red envelopes when you entered with raffle tickets and coins inside to play a dice game. I was short on raffle tickets and the staff was so kind and made sure I got another raffle ticket! My only complaint would be how loud it was. Both rooms had DJ's and the music was pretty loud. I think most people enjoy that though, so that could just be a me problem... we had so much fun and will definitely be back at Mills for another night market event! read more

This was my first visit, and I'm happy to say it won't be my last! We tried the pork gyoza, Thai tea (a personal favorite), crispy wings, and the shrimp noodle combo. While a few of the kiosks weren't open yet, that just gives me a reason to come back and explore more. All of the employees were friendly and sweet. The wings lived up to their name--crispy and satisfying--though they could've used a bit more flavor. The standout for me was the lemongrass banh mi: the bread was perfectly toasted, and the meat was thinly sliced, juicy, and full of flavor. The only downside was the limited seating--more chairs or stools would definitely improve the experience. Still, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food overall. During that first visit, we found a jewelry store, a small grocery store, UniGirl, a Vietnamese Banh Mi Boy and Chinese food Kai Kai. Half of the building was closed off. Only a few tables and chairs were available and the line for UniGirl was all growing all the way to the back door. But, we came back the next day for more of that delicious roasted duck and crispy pork from Kai Kai. During this visit, the market has expanded its horizon and have new vendors. Needless to say the place is packed. Now they have Cowboy Curry which is Japanese inspired curry dishes. Saigon Snow is an Asian Dessert place with it's fine shaved ice and more. There are also more seating and tables. One wall was lined with refrigerator with a variety of drinks and desserts. There are also lots of baked good and traditional Asian snacks. Overall, we love coming here because we come for the usual goodies but also we keep discovering new things. The price point varies as well, there are something to eat for every budget. I had to take away one star because of the parking. Unfortunately, no parking stresses me out. Parking is scarce and the spaces are quite narrow. So come early, or in an Uber. If you arrive around noon, parking can be tough and there are lines at each stall, so I recommend coming a bit later (around 1:30-2:00 p.m.) for a smoother experience. Strolling around the array of snacks etc they did not have any summer rolls but I was eyeing the multi colored layered steam rice cakes. They were $3,99 for 3 slices. Finally lined up for Kai Kai for my Char Siu BBQ. The Char Siu was delicious. Fatty areas in between the meats and the meat was freshly out the cooker. I always request duck sauce gravy to dip the meats and drizzle the white rice. This is my go to order when I go to Kai Kai. I have been wanting to try this cool Asian Market. I had Kai Kai restaurant with Honey bbq Char Su Pork with fried rice. For the drink I had a Coca Cola. I've been here a few times now. This place is similar to East End in that it's so much more than just a food hall. It's a market with tons of grab-n-go ready-to-eat food and beverage. It's an easy to shop at counter service restaurant for half a dozen little micro restaurants that serve very delicious things. Ambiance is hustle and bustle. If you are afraid of crowds, don't come here. But if you can brave the mob, jump in, save a table, and order a little bit from every stall, because they're all awesome. There are a number of places like Bahn Mi Boy, Saigon Snow, Cowboy Curry, and some other places serving up some decent Asian food. There's even a hot bar where you pay at the counter and get the food items there. Seating is terrible. I feel like they have more space or could organize it a bit better. Some tables have chairs and some don't and it's really kind of a cluster of madness. And what's up with the jewelry store in the back? That's a bit out of place... move it out and put in more tables! Parking is also terrible. You may be able to find a place on 50 (East Colonial), but more than likely you'll look for a spot in the narrow aisles in the back. We came on a Saturday night, which was packed with people - luckily we were able to find a table with seats so you'll need to get here a bit early. We decided to get bahn mi and the soft shell crab spider roll to share. The bread is soft to bite into with a crispy, toasted outer texture. It held well with all the fillings in each bite. The only callout is if you can't handle spice, be careful with the jalapeños because they add big slices to the bahn mi and those peppers were especially spicy that day even for my group that can handle spice. The soft shell crab spider roll was the special of the day and it tasted amazing with the spicy ginger sauce and the fresh, crunchy veggies. The mint provides a much needed cooling effect and the crab meat is fried and coated with lots of flavor. I recommend trying it if you're able to! Came here to bring my mom for her first time and she loved it! I love that more businesses expanded although I felt the sushi spot was wasted space if it's only open on limited weekends.
