The biscuits are well worth a visit to this place. I thought the portion of bacon was a little small. The staff were very helpful. We went early so the location was empty but it is huge and has lots of parking options out front.

Millstone Biscuit Co is our favorite breakfast place in the area. It is the one restaurant we plan our day around. The food has amazing flavor, the service friendly and attentive. The ambiance is casual and welcoming. We always order the chicken gravy biscuit. It's our favorite and has great flavor. They prepare the bacon as requested. We always get crispy, and it's always perfect. The eggs are always done right with good seasoning. They have lots of seating inside and outside. We highly recommend Millstone Biscuit Co.

We've been meaning to try this place out for some time and finally got around to it! It's a beautiful place and the staff are extremely friendly and engaging! I ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit and my wife had the BEAT biscuit! The biscuits are so moist and flaky! Both were excellent! We also each ordered a hash browns which was also very good! We highly recommend this for a nice breakfast!

Heard great things about this place and thought we would try for breakfast. I had the chicken biscuit gravy platter. The biscuit is very nice and fluffy. The gravy is a little bit thick for me and they use chicken breast versus thighs which tend to make it dry, but overall, it was very good. Wife had a milestone breakfast with Eggs over medium and bacon and home fries. All were very good if not slightly salty. Overall for this town and $28 I would definitely do it again. We ordered it at the counter and the young lady was very patient with us and they brought it to our table as soon as it was ready. We sat out on the patio and it was comfortable and relaxing.

This was the most tender biscuit I have ever had. I had the BEAT (bacon, egg, avocado, tomato). Delicious. I would eat it again, after trying everything else on the menu. My husband ate the King (peanut butter, grilled banana, bacon). I know he liked it because it was gone before I got back to the table with my coffee.

Great biscuits but that's what we come south for and the Millstone nails them. Easy counter ordering and tables to eat at. Service was smooth and the food was served quickly and piping hot. Great little place.

Stopped in for takeout on the way home from the beach due to excellent reviews. The diner is small but clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Clean restrooms. Service was fast. Prices fair. Biscuits and gravy were decent and a large portion. Sweet tea was good but very sweet. Worth a stop in.

Stopped in after seeing the high rating and really glad we did. The restaurant is set up nice with ordering at the counter and seating outside and inside. The service was great, we were greeted as soon as we came in. The food was amazing, I had the Millstone breakfast and it was so much I couldn't finish it. My wife had the biscuit with gravy and a side of home fries with cheese and onions. The gravy isn't a traditional gravy but it still is packed with flavor. We will definitely be back on our next trip through the area.

7.27.24 This is a breakfast and lunch fast casual restaurant and was voted highest-rated restaurants in 2022 in Murrells Inlet. Chicken sandwich was good. Unlike Rise Biscuits Donuts in MD, their chicken was moist and the biscuit wasn't dry. My chicken sandwich would have tasted better with a sauce, but not sure what type. Hubby liked his buffalo sandwich, but said it could have used a dipping sauce such as ranch as well. Our only critique is they were disorganized in terms of seating, which was first come first serve which you wouldn't know unless informed. When we placed our order at the counter, the cashier asked if we wanted to dine in or carryout, but there was no seating available. We decided to carryout, but found a table when someone got up to leave. All in all, food was good, but the seating coordination could be better organized.

Great biscuits, counter service. This place was a nice quick trip. The interior is small, but there is ample seating and it wasn't overly busy. Also, there was outdoor seating. I absolutely loved the Fiji apple biscuit! The cinnamon drizzle and ricotta cheese were a welcome twist to the classic biscuit. While I did love my biscuit, my hash browns were underwhelming. The home fries were also very basic. Ordering went well and they brought the food right to the table. The interior was quiet and casual. I also noticed that there seemed to be some locals enjoying their meals, which is always a good sign. Overall, this is a solid choice for breakfast or brunch!

Incredibly friendly staff that will greet you upon the moment you enter the door! They have a huge menu with lots of options so everyone can come grab a bit in your group. The gravy is incredibly yummy and the biscuits have the perfect buttery consistency. Seriously come check out this place!

Stopped in for brunch. We had the Fuji apple biscuit, it was great. My daughter had chicken tender and fries and it all tasted homemade, fresh and were well seasoned. The woman behind the counter was thoughtful, when offering my daughter drink options she spelled out the word "soda" and asked if she could list it as an option. The food is delicious but they don't have enough staff to support the kind of business they are trying to keep up with. When you drive to a restaurant and are standing at the cash register to place your order and the waitress looks you in the face and says please hold on so she can answer the phone and take a 10 minute food order!?! The people in your restaurant should be more important then someone who's calls in. read more

Biscuits done right! We all ordered different breakfast platters and all 4 of us loved the meals we had. I'm a huge biscuit fan and like it any which way--with sausage gravy, butter, honey, or jam! They were absolutely delicious and come with any fixin' you're feeling! The inside decor was very cute, even had tables outside too. Visited today for the first time and what a good decision it was. The country sausage gravy is the real thing. My wife said she finally found some as good as her nanny used to make. The place is spotless, the food is great and the people are very friendly. Food was served in just a few minutes and was hot. What more can you ask from a restaurant? Oh yes, reasonable prices. This is best breakfast place in Garden City area and hidden gem. Prices are reasonable staff friendly and food is amazing. Their biscuits are huge and melt in your mouth. At the moment of writing this I am in a wonderful food coma. Southern biscuits are the best and especially homemade biscuits, yummy !!! Sausage Gravy was spot on, over easy eggs were cooked beautifully and getting the apples with my meal was a nice bonus. Wonderful service and a short wait, I may have to eat here again before the end of my vacation. read more

Our group got the biscuits and gravy, bacon egg cheese and hash brown sandwich, and the Hwy 17 platter. Everything was delicious! The biscuits were light, fluffy, and absolutely perfect. The gravy was really yummy too. If I lived around here, I'd definitely be a regular. read more

I was told this place has the best biscuits and sausage gravy in the low county. So, naturally I had to go. One simply doesn't pass on good biscuits and gravy. Well, Sorry mom but your biscuits and gravy are now 2nd best. This place has top notch southern comfort breakfast/lunch food. The customer service is like you're part of the family. I will go back every single time I'm at the beach to visit my parents. My dear mother will be by my side eating her favorite biscuits and gravy as well. read more

Yelp NAILED this restaurant's 5 star rating! Was looking for a good quick brunch option on getaway day after a golf trip in Myrtle. You don't see many perfect ratings so I rolled the dice and stopped in. Great coffee (don't let the self serve pump carafes fool you) / AMAZING biscuits / Great sausage gravy / delicious grits As a bonus this is one of the friendliest spots you will find - happened to seat myself at what appeared to be the only free table but upon discovering that a personal item had been left and the table was spoken for I offered to sit outside. The couple who had claimed that table instead invited me to join them. Turned out to be the biscuit chef's parents (did I mention they are the best biscuits ever?!) Thanks to Kristen, Ed and Shirley for the camaraderie, conversation and great food! Going to make this a regular stop for the group every golf trip to Myrtle Beach! read more

Visiting my friend, who had to take me to this restaurant for breakfast. She eats here often... and sure enough... we walk in the door, the owner was at the counter...he greeted her like she was family. He ask her... the usual? He is very personable... it took only a couple of minutes to get eggs cooked to perfection... bacon, crisped j...ust right, big fluffy biscuits..and you know the restaurant is good when they know how to cook GRITS and Gravy! The restaurant is clean, the wait staff is attentive... nice place to be a regular and meet new friends. read more

I would give this place seven stars if I could, one for every letter in the word biscuit. I love that word. (I've even decided, after eating here, that I will name my next dog Biscuit.) Look up the word biscuit in the thesaurus, and you will find such synonyms as "Southern staple" and "ultimate comfort food" and "God's gift to mankind." But you can't eat a word. (Even words like razzmatazz or chinchilla or accoutrement, as tasty as they are.) Thankfully, you can eat a Millstone Biscuit Co biscuit. And you will be reduced to cliches: "mouthwatering," "best in town," "hidden gem," "utterly delicious." read more

One of the best breakfast places I have had near Myrtle! They have so many options for biscuits and other miscellaneous breakfast items. I tried a gravy biscuit and the "king" it is grilled banana, peanut butter, and bacon biscuit. Both were delicious. I am new to the area, and had dropped my dog off for grooming. I looked on maps to find someplace close to get a bite to eat. It is such a small restaurant, that I missed it the first time - had to turn around. This little restaurant goes way beyond expectations in friendliness, and their food is delicious!!! I had a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit with home fries. I was in heaven! If you love homemade biscuits, look no further!! I will be back!! read more

We loved this place so much we ate here 2 mornings in a row on vaca. The owner was a one man show in there & so friendly and happily interacted with our talktalive toddler. We had the fried chicken biscuit with a side of homemade sausage gravy, the fried chicken sandwich with fries, a pancake with sausage (was a hit with my toddler), cheese fries with bacon and the owner's homemade ranch (amazing), Fuji apple biscuit (OUR ABSOLUTE FAVE--think dessert but for breakfast), and the Hare of the Dog biscuit. 10/10 would recommend this place if you visit Myrtle Beach! Place apparently just recently opened. Happened across it and stopped for breakfast. It was great. Gravy biscuit was some of the best I have had. Not only do they have biscuits as the name implies, but also have traditional plate breakfast. Have a lunch menu as well and will definitely go back for breakfast and try their lunch. read more

My first time visiting today and I will for sure be back. I had the bacon, egg and cheese with hash browns (on the side). Egg was perfect as was the bacon. The biscuit was big, thick, moist and fluffy. You could see the butter smattered throughout. I enjoyed every single bite. This morning not a lot open due to the nearing hurricane. Found this little sweet spot! Food was so delicious and was priced affordable. I had the King Biscuit which had peanut butter, bacon, and grilled bananas with a side of home fries with onion and cheese. It was so delicious, a great combo! My boyfriend got the biscuit and gravy platter and let me tell you it was as good as grandma's! I will recommend this place to anyone looking for good breakfast. read more

The second time, later that same day, I ordered (upon the recommendation by their awesome employees Sam and Erin) their "Surf and Turf Tacos". They consisted of grilled chipotle-seasoned shrimp & marinated beef tenderloin topped with mango salsa. This was most definitely a Winner!! There's plenty of both inside and outside seating at this Murrell's Inlet waterside establishment. We were outside (which is actually all covered) at the bar which provides great views of the water. Oh yeah, and as one passes through the inside dining on the way to the outdoor bar, be sure to glance to the walls on your right that are covered with dog pictures and photos. Nice! The staff are friendly and helpful. Sam and Erin were working their buttooskies off getting drinks and orders for everyone at the bar and still had time to occasionally stop and chat with the patrons at the bar. Prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is laidback and friendly, and the food is great! I highly recommend you check them out. In my future bike travels, if I ever return to the Myrtle Beach area, I'm making this a must visit!

Got a kick out of the restrooms- setters or pointers. Hilarious!! Staff friendly- all that passed our table made sure we were doing good. We sat outside in the covered area and there was a perfect cooling breeze. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to enjoy their patio.

Hidden gem. The staff was so friendly, the restaurant was nicely kept and clean. It was also decorated for the holidays which was lovely. My boyfriend and I went in for breakfast on a whim one day and the food was fantastic! The fried apples reminded me of my childhood and the home fries were crispy and flavorful! Stopped at Millstone Biscuit Company for my first time today. I ordered the D-Ray, biscuit, country ham, hash brown and egg. The sandwich was excellent. Stopped by for brunch with the girls. I got the sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a side of home fries, and boy was it good! The biscuit was so fluffy and buttery!
