The restaurant is family owned, and Arlene and Arthur were there to greet us and help us make our selections. Other family members also worked there and were super friendly, which added to the experience. The food was absolutely incredible! The roasted chicken and the pork ribs were my favorites. They were both tender, moist, and flavorful, and the ribs had that light char on the outside adding even more to the taste. We also had Pork Mofongo, Tostones, Sweet Plantains and Empanadas, which were all delicious. Even their standard side dishes (beans, rice, yucca, etc.) were a notch above. It was seasoned perfectly, unbelievably tender, and honestly one of the best pork dishes I've ever had. I will be thinking about that meal until I come back.
