    Chicharrón, tostones y ensalada...
    Simon G.

The chef is a woman from the DR with good culinary training and the food is flavorful and tastes like a home cook meal will be in the Dominican Republic. The staff were very friendly and even the chef came to our table to welcome and greet our table. I felt like in La isla. The ambiance is improving with new furnishing, decoration and audio visual improvement. I will return to the restaurant again. Good food and good people.

Update: visited on 11/22/22 Still recommend a visit to Milly's if you're visiting the area. This place is a very small mom and pop place but they do have some indoor seating and they have parking as it is in a plaza. While this place may not be the fanciest the food to me is absolutely delicious. There are not many places that know how to make Mofongo and this was the reason why I came back. I brought two friends with me so that they too can experience how delicious the food is. We ordered two orders of Mofongo with Pork Chunks, one order of Mofongo with Pollo a la Plancha, and an avocado salad. Take a look at the pictures I have posted to give you and idea on their servicing size and how good it all looks. Hope if you visit that you too will enjoy and wish this restaurant continued success.

I can't believe they have this here. Hard to find in restaurants #NowYouKnow

We have been here a few times and always leave with a happy stomach! The food is amazing. We had the magu with fried eggs and fried cheese. Our waiter was super friendly too. We highly recommend

We opted to try Milly's restaurant and ordered mangu with salami, eggs, and cheese. It reminded me of home, the way my grandmother cooks it. I, too, enjoyed every bite. The waiter was quick and made sure everything was excellent. The restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere was relaxing."

First things first, the DJ was ON POINT didn't stay on one genre too long, just kept the energy flowing perfectly. It was a rainy Sunday so it wasn't as packed or hype as we expected, but honestly? Even if it was just us and the DJ, it still would've been a whole party. The inside has a dark, moody vibe with cute spots for pics, definitely a vibe. Parking was $11 in a small lot right outside, which wasn't bad. Now let's get into the important part... the FOOD & DRINKS whew!! I had a passion fruit mojito and a passion fruit margarita, both were SO good. Like... real good LOL! The wings were flavorful, and we also had fried tostones topped with shrimp in this sweet sauce that paired perfectly with the savory. SO GOOD. I also tried two different sushi rolls with steak, and babyyy... every bite had me like "hmmmmm" no exaggeration at all. They offer both a brunch menu and a regular menu, and everything is displayed on tablets which was super vibrant and easy to browse. I don't love driving all the way to Miami, but for these vibes, the music, and the food? I'd definitely make the trip again. Good food, good drinks, good music, good vibes. We had an amazing time!

I ordered a cafe con leche, a Cuban sandwich and a Media Noche sandwich. Everything was delicious. Especially the media noche sandwich. I've had plenty of media noches in my life, but never as good as this one. Not sure what kind of bread they use for their media noche, but it was so soft, just the perfect amount of sweetness. I recently tried their iced Cuban coffee with sugar and milk, and it was such a delicious addition. The passion fruit juice is also fantastic. I finally tried the grilled lobster plate, and WOW, it did not disappoint. Honestly, you might need to walk around the block a few times afterward because everything is just THAT good, and you're going to finish every last bite. Puerto Sagua has been serving Miami Beach since 1968, and it is still standing strong, serving incredible Cuban food with so much character and history. The guarapo (fresh sugarcane juice) is refreshing and authentic, which is rare to find done this well. This place has the food down right. Unfortunately, the customer service ruins the experience. I asked for a pan con lechón and a pan con bistec, and the woman at the counter flat out said, "I'm not cooking." Barely toasted bread. But, good fresh bread. Not only was it dismissive, but it was also said directly to a local executive chef -- someone who knows and respects good food service. It's a real shame because the kitchen puts out quality food, but the lack of basic courtesy makes it hard to enjoy. My advice? Go for the food, but don't expect service. Order, take it to go, and skip the tip since service is non-existent. If they ever fixed their customer service, this spot would be five stars all the way. Ambiance ruined by customer service.
