Utter disaster. It was a problem I didn't know how to fix myself as a somewhat experienced DIY'er. During the estimate process Mike explained why and how the failure occurred and what repairs could be done to remedy. The repair would also replacing a cracked tile in an extremely tight space (a corner tile next to a toilet). And of course I only had a single spare tile for the repair, as the floor tile was discontinued. Ed was transparent about the difficulty of the tile repair, but he miraculously pulled it off. The floor and the shower are back to looking brand new, and the best part is I don't have to worry about water issues anymore. Grout Works bid was $5 more than one of the bidders and almost half of the other company. I was impressed with Brendan's knowledge and enthusiasm. One of the bidders said he couldn't seal the grout in one of my bathrooms, because the tiles were so small and would take too long to do. Brendan has a product that wipes over the whole floor, sealing the grout, then he polishes the tile. My upstairs bathroom was so white when he was done that it practically hurt my eyes with the glare! Not only did he do a great job on the tiles, but also he did a fantastic job recaulking around my tub, shower, sinks, and toilets...so smooth and even. Two of the companies said they couldn't guarantee that my kitchen tiles would not loosen and that the grout would stay in. Brendan said he could guarantee it, but that I had to have access to spare tiles in case they broke when he was taking them up. I got them up with a metal spatula and he glued them down with something like "hard as nails" and then filled in the spaces around them with grout, plus many other places on the floor that were missing grout. After it dries and hardens Brendan is going to come back to color it to match the rest of the grout, which has turned a dark grey. I highly recommend Brendan and Grout Works for a very professional job at a reasonable price.

Brandon was on time and friendly, and he not only took Covid precautions but he wore shoe coverings while cleaning the carpet. I had my carpet cleaned back in January by a different company and not only did they not have the shoe coverings, they went straight into the cleaning. Brandon explained he was going to vacuum first, then clean, he said that if you go straight to steam cleaning the carpet that any dust or dirt that's already there just gets swirled around deeper into the carpet. While he was more thorough, the process only took about an hour to clean my studio. I'd recommend Blue Diamond to anyone needing their carpet cleaned. They're friendly, efficient, and do great work!
