This place over the last 2 years has been making a dive, not only in ratings but also overall flavor. Last night we went in because our other choices were closed. They went from Chow mein to this chow is YUCK. I asked the manager to have a seat showed him the 1/4 plate we ate and told him in 2 month you changed your chow mein 2 times and its getting worse. Also let him know we went from 2 times a month to once a month to now rarely because the basics fried rice, chow mein, are getting a washed out flavor, and as a customer I wanted to let him know the cooks are changing their food. He decided to argue that I was wrong and when I pointed out the changes by the lousy leftovers, I was told its his new direction and idea for the restaurant, so Mr. Manager change in the cooking and your NEW Direction or no changes. If I could leave no stars I would. Went there last night for a drink and appetizers with some friends. The bartender/waitress (red/pink hair) was SUPER rude. She had such a bad attitude and gave us a snide comments the whole time. Needless to say we had one drink and left. I will never go back there again. We were skeptical cause all the reviews were so old but one of the more recent reviews said they had been going here for years loved their food and never had any issues except they forgot the sweet and sour sauce one time so they gave them a one star review and that convinced me to order and I'm glad I did. We loved all the dishes! The Kung pao chicken is spicy and delicious and the veggie chow Mein has a hint of garlic and the noodles arnt super greasy like other places. We ordered 3 items, Mongolian Beef (I asked for not too spicy), Honey Walnut Shrimp, Chicken Curry & we added rice. This was delivered, it was hot, rice was perfect, all 3 dishes were cooked very well, meats were cooked perfectly & prawns were delicious...could use a bit more flavor, or maybe needed more flavored sauce but overall we were not disappointed. Wow where to even start on this disgusting restaurant . From the ketchup tasting orange chicken to the gallons of grease in the food I was appalled. I ordered this for takeout and this was easily the worst Chinese food I have had in many years. How this place stays in business is just oblivious. With all the complaints which i should have read before ordering this food for delivery. The portions where huge but the food made me sick from the first couple of bites. The chow mein flavor was grease and the battered shrimp was rubbery and overcooked. I don't know how a business can literally serve this crap and not know how to cook anything. I ordered this with uber eats when staying at a friend's house in Auburn. There wasn't much choices on uber eats so I thought why not. I will say it was not good. The fried rice was dry and unfavorable. It was actually pretty terrible. The Mongolian beef, a recommended dish was not good. The beef was chewy. I'm debating on if it is actually beef. It had a texture that was less than desirable. I took two bits and wanting to spit it back out. I would never ever recommend this place based on the rice and beef. Maybe something else is good there. The Milton walk was the first Chinese restaurant we ate at when we move to this area 7 years ago. At the time we were disappointed with the fried rice but found other entrées to be delicious. Tonight we ordered almond chicken and sweet-and-sour chicken. Sweet-and-sour chicken was a large chicken breast not small bites, overcooked and rubbery maybe due to microwave defrosting? If you're going to cook a breast this way, scallopini is the way to go. Otherwise stay with tradition. The cashew chicken would've been better named braised celery with burnt cashews. My family and I have been going to Milton Wok for years, never having a bad experience and the food is always good. We ordered takeout tonight, including sweet and sour chicken. We got home and noticed our sweet and sour sauce was missing. We called the restaurant and the man that answered the phone said "what do you want me to do about it?" Worst Chinese food in Milton I would rather go twenty miles away than eat there again. But I do like there wonton soup

Miton Wok is my childhood. When I was a kid it used to be full of smoke and my sister and I would play pac-man when we waited for a table. It was my introduction to greasy pork fried rice and almond fried chicken. Everything fried is delicious and golden. The service is sometimes spotty but the prices are average and for Milton this is the chinese place. As far as greasy spoon american-chinese food goes this is my all time favorite. I live in Lynnwood now and still can't find a place like this one. My advice to you...get take-out. read more

Whether you're grabbing lunch or dinner, as a Chinese native, I love getting chinese food outside from home. Milton Wok offers many, many dishes that can be accompanied with rice, noodles, soup and whatever you're feeling. I definitely recommend getting the mongolian beef, and house special chow mein. The beef is the best I had at any Chinese restaurants. Service is very good, Karen the owner is a really lively, friendly person. She is always so friendly. There is also a bar connected to the restaurant, if you want to have a drink after a meal, perfect. They have karaoke nights and it's lively. Definitely recommend this place! I normally don't like to be negative, but I had a terrible experience at Milton Wok. My husband and I had buy-one-get-one-free from the Entertainment book, and I felt like the dishes we got (I got the tomato beef, he got a shrimp dish) were not worth the 9 bucks it costs between the two of us with the coupon. The waitress, an older caucasian lady, practically ignored us the whole time, and the restaurant had this yucky musty odor. I understand that this is close and local for some people, but as a Federal Way resident, there are SO many better Chinese places I could do that are much closer to me. Tried to order on ubereats, I am handicapped (can't meet the driver at the car) I forgot to place special instructions on order to please bring to the door. I called, explained my situation completely and requested the gentleman I spoke to put a note on my order asking "please bring food to door" the guy continuously demands to know if they know my address and phone number. Says he cannot put a note on bag to driver as the driver is not his. 7 minutes later and 15 "well, do they know your address" later I got angry and hung up. Called ubereats and cancelled order though they advised I'd still be charged as my 7 minute phone call cost me the time I'd need to cancel free of charge. However, after I angrily hung up, I had feared they may do something to my food as I'd clearly annoyed the guy, I wanted no part of it. $30 later no food and serious case of disappointment in the restaurant (come on guy, how long does it take to scratch out "please bring food to door" on a scrap of paper and staple it to the bag???? 30$ all I was getting were pot stickers and fried wontons (2 appetizers for 30$ which I'm happy to pay given the late hour, and, you can't do me 1 favor that would have taken 1/10th the amount of time you spent continuously demanding to know if they knew my address and phone number and telling me you would not write a note) As for the food, first time I ordered pot stickers and mushu pork, I enjoyed it a lot (this was prior to 7pm). I enjoyed it so much 4 days later my mom, stepdad and i ordered again. However, this was later in the evening, my stepdad and i both ordered mushu pork. Sadly, when you order 2 of the same thing they cook it all in one pan. The veggies were completely raw, nearly inedible in texture. Added portion means longer cook time, Though it's clear this did not occur. The potstickers are hit and miss, sometimes crunchy sometimes gooey. The fried rice has zero flavor. The noodles are extremely salty. We have since placed a couple other late night orders, most just apps as the regular food past 7pm is generally terrible. Prior to 7pm things taste a lot better, assume this is when the regular chef is still working. We went in as well later in the evening, were placed in an area with no other customers 45 minutes later, no food, no drinks, no service at all. My best advice order early or order nothing but appetizers. I'm a bit of a night owl and love that I can order at this restaurant quite late on ubereats, but just appetizers. We've been coming here for at least 8 years, always eat in the lounge. Favorites are honey cashew prawns, bbq pork, shrimp with green beans, salt and pepper pork chops (also very good salt and pepper calamari), hot and sour soup, egg foo young, cream cheese wontons, almond chicken, bacon fried rice. The best servers you could ask for, they remember what we like and our names. Great place!!! I'm baffled by all the bad reviews. I like this place. The food and service are great, but what puts it over the top is the fun on karaoke nights (Thur-Sat) in the bar. Luke helps everyone enjoy the night singing their favorite songs even if you are not a regular. This place is a hidden gem. read more

I love the Milton Wok! My parents have been going here for almost 30 years, and I just recently tried it a couple years ago and LOVE it. It's definitely my husband and I's go to for a quick dinner. We've never sat down and ate, but love ordering it through Uber Eats or just picking it up. I will say they could REALLY use a remodel, but it doesn't affect me or the food so I don't mind. If I could give negative score I would I visited Milton wok earlier today after getting in I got pushed into the bar, picked one space in the corner and the wall after waiting for about 5 minutes the bartender asks what I would like to drink I said water and after that I got no water and no acknowledgement and after 15 minutes I left and went and got food elsewhere. We had a coupon on Ubereats tonight so we thought we would order local. We ended up throwing away all three dishes. The Chicken Chow Mein. It was only noodles, no veggies. The chicken was thin and slimy, fried and frankly probably not chicken. The sweet and sour Won Tons. They were filled with a scoop of cheap cream cheese. Not crunchy but mealy. No flavor. Accompanied with a full to-go box of sauce. Seriously? A full box of sugary nasty sauce? Who even does that? The sesame chicken. Chunks of breading with perhaps some chicken hidden in there somewhere and repelling sauce with a few sesame seeds to meet the basic obligation of the name of the dish. 0 stars. Do yourself a favor and get Chinese food at Safeway. It is horrible too but it is 5 stars compared to the Milton Wok. read more
