Very unfortunate service tonight. I ordered the family meal for four and the house noodles. The food was 10 mins late for a 6:20 delivery I called and they said it was on the way. I then called again 15 mins after that and said the same thing. At this point very frustrated I asked for it to be picked up as he was still cooking at 6:50 when I ordered at 5:20. I went to go pick it up and finally finished cooking the very plain lack of flavor food at 7. The guy was not apologetic and only gave me my delivery fee back. I will not eat here again as the service was terrible and honestly the food had no flavor. The honey walnut shrimp was all honey and no nut, the Mongolian beef was soggy and no spice, the fried rice very bland and tasted old, and the bbq pork was dry as the Sahara even with the mustard. This place is not a hit or miss- it's always a hit!! We usually get the soups and the rice noodles. Consistent flavors, not skimpy on the meat and simply delicious! They hurried me off the phone and told me to order online, which I would've done had I not wanted to be sure they substituted an item on my family dinner meal. We begrudgingly ordered an online fam dinner for six on Christmas Eve at 3 PM for a 5 PM pick up. My second disappointment, Time management. My husband suggested giving them advance notice of the order so that they'd be done TWO HOURS later for him to pick up. He was there at 5 PM for pick up, and they took an EXTRA HOUR & HALF after he arrived at 6:30 PM for them to complete it! He was pissed off. I love this little Chinese gem in Auburn. I'm obsessed with the Singapore noodles. They pack the box , so no complaints on size. They also are so kind and usually throw in a free soda . This location still works on Covid conditions, so you have to call in to order. And then call when you're outside and they'll come out and take money and bring food. I've decided to revisit my review for Kampo. A couple years ago I Tried this place and was about as disappointed as I have ever been in a Chinese restaurant. You can find details of that review below. Fast forward to August 2021. I kept seeing good reviews for this place and wondered if I just ordered the wrong thing or caught them on a bad day. So I tried again and the results were much better. Sweet-and-sour chicken was very high-quality chicken and breading much better than a lot of the typical deteriorating Chinese restaurant That are common out there today. The Mushu pork was decent although a little lacking in flavor But good texture. The crapes were house made and high quality. Also came with a really good amount of hoisin. The vegetarian egg foo yong was very fresh and substantial and came with way more gravy that I needed. The gravy was VERY salty but still tasty. The egg was well cooked. All in all I would order the sweet-and-sour chicken and egg foo young again but probably not the Mushu pork. read more

When you move some place new its often a challenge to find the places you love. Of course Yelp didn't lead me astray. Was craving Chinese food and these days it's difficult to find a Chinese restaurant. This one got good reviews and they deliver. We ordered way too much food as usual but nothing wrong with having left over for lunch. First the really good dishes - the shrimp fried rice was amazing. Best I've had in a long time. The tofu and veggies was also great as was shrimp and veggies. The green onion pancake which is a favorite of mine was greasy and lacking in any flavor. The sweet and sour pork might have been better but it wasn't all that warm which leads me to my biggest criticism When I ordered on line they indicated an hour for delivery, that's not bad and even if they are 20 minutes or so later that's ok. We ordered at 5:45 and finally got our meal at 7:45 and that was after two phone calls to the restaurant. the person who answered kept saying the driver just left, it takes 10 minutes from their restaurant to my house. This ended up being a huge disappointment. A lot of independent restaurants are take out only. No big deal, Chinese food tends to be about as good to go. Unlike what the reviews said, I didn't find the portion or prices to be reasonable. For $25, I got Mongolian Beef that was way too sweet , Potstickers that were basically Gyoza and steamed rice. Based on the portion, the rice should have been included with the Beef and it all should have cost about $20. The potstickers tasted like grocery store gyoza. The beef was pretty tasty, but despite requesting it extra spicy, it takes more like candy because for some reason when you say spicy, Chinese restaurants hear, "More sugar". The people here were extra nice and I couldn't be more happy with the attitude, but again, the portion and price were a complete rip off. I ended up here because the place across that street that also had great reviews was on a run of bad reviews just like this where customers complain about the cost, quality and portion. I don't know what it takes to find great Chinese food, but I can tell you that no one in Seattle has figured it out. read more

I really wanted it to be good, but it wasn't. I honestly didn't know that you could even mess up won ton soup. Unfortunately, they managed to ruin it. It was completely overcooked to mush. The delivery person was nice, the food arrived hot and the portions were huge! We had cream cheese wontons, pineapple fried rice and individual dinner combo meals that all came with sweet n sour chicken, fried rice, egg roll, soup, bbq pork slices and a choice of meat. I loved my Mongolian beef. They also added a thoughtful packet with utensils and napkins individually wrapped for each meal and complimentary cans of soda as a surprise. I ordered the Singapore Fried Rice Noodle and Mongolian Beef. Let me start by saying both were delicious, the flavor, and the amount you get amazing. The Singapore dish had all the right ingredients, to make the dish exquisite. The Mongolian Beef was so tender, and juicy. I called in my order, The service went above my expectations, sweet place. My new favorite. I'm so happy they are open on Sunday.
