Because of a part time job, I'm here at all hours but mostly afternoon and evening when I'm beginning to fade. They make their coffee hours, maybe days earlier and then the coffee sits in Thermos carafes, getting staler and staler. There are two ways to make coffee unpalatable when serving lots of people, one is to keep serving coffee that's more than an hour old and the other is to not properly clean all the equipment. Without a soapy wash and a vinegar solution rinse, old coffee oils collect and the combination of inadequate cleaning and leaving stale coffee out for a long time is this repulsive choice of hot beverages here. It's a clear sign of the end of work for the Boomer generation. The generations younger than us aren't big on the small black coffee, and the generation working here is as unfamiliar with old fashioned customer service as they are with hot coffee. The gas seems okay.
