We've never been at one, but we've seen some take place while we've just been there during a free time. They have bins for when toys get icky and need to be taken away from the rest of the stuff. Everything seems to be very well organized, cleaned really well and the equipment is really interesting and different than a lot of other play places. Again, I think it's suppose to be giving sensory needs to a wide range of individuals and children. And it's cool! They also have a calming room with a beautiful mural on the inside as well as an infant room which is a great way to section off some of the smaller kids so there's less likely for injury. The main area does have running around, swinging, jumping, but that's what you're there for! They have dress up costumes, coloring space, a giant chalkboard wall and trampoline. I will say the staff is usually hosted by one or two younger people, there's no real problem with that except when they were experiencing technical issues with their portal to be able to login to register your kiddos. That happened a few times a handful of months ago, but now they've switched to a new system and that all seems 100% better. We've been there multiple times and we will continue to go back, our twins love it.

Tucked into the heart of Tosa, the location is on point. It's no wonder they're regularly busy and have such a welcoming and communal feel. The exterior boasts of beautiful murals, colorful and bright. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed with the atmosphere. All of the modern decor, lots of little things to shop for (by local vendors), a handful of tables to sit at and enjoy food/drink, and a friendly face at the register ready to check you in. I brought both my boys, 3.5 and 1.5 years old, and they had a blast. We booked a slot online ahead of time, which was very easy to do and came with a text & email reminder. When we showed up we paid for our entry ($11/kid for an hour) along with a latte for myself. I could not resist, given the drink options sounds darn good. And let me tell ya, the 'born to be wildberry shaken espresso' is something I need in my regular caffeine rotation!! As for the play area, I thought it was great! Plenty of space for kids of all ages. There were structures to climb, costumes to dress up in, blocks to stack, musical instruments to play, trucks & cars galore, and beyond. Oh and comfy couches for the moms/dads/caretakers to get comfy. All in all, a beautiful and safe place for littles to play! Also awesome: they host workshops, classes, storytimes, and other groups for parents and kids to get involved in. Unfortunately we live a tad out of reach for regular enough visits, but I'd imagine their membership is something worth looking into. I think what I appreciated most was was how community-centered Little Village feels. From the staff to the friendly moms & dad visiting, it was a vibe. Can't go wrong with a visit here!

I also (perhaps weirdly) asked if I needed to be a parent, which I am not, to get a coffee. The barista seemed amused/confused and said no. I ordered a very nice latte and got some work done. Nugget Nation MKE has one of the BEST curation of toys that CONSISTENTLY rotates. I like to emphasize the consistent because a lot of play spaces have kept the same toys month after month but not here! 3 Reasons You Should Visit Nugget Nation 1) It incorporates play for a variety of ages. I have an older son and an infant/toddler. Often times at most places I would get nervous that my older one would be too big and hurt the young ones or my little one would have nothing to do. This is the best for both worlds. 2) Play for every kid. I said this initially but there are a variety of toys that will peak your little one's interest or curiosity which is perfect for problem solving and imagination 3) The indoor play space is a perfect size - not too big where you will lose your kids inside and it's CLEAN. It you are a 90s kid and remember Chucky Cheese play gyms being the best thing - this is way better and will give you the mental ease that your children are safe. I read the previous review about attendees getting everyone sick and honestly that must be a fluke because I go at least once a month and found that other children are respectful especially when it comes to germs. Kayla and Jenna you are the best addition to our lives thank you for giving this mama a place to go when feeling cooped up.

She was very professional and helpful and while children were playing in one area, she would clean and organize in another area. We stayed there for a few hours. My second visit was very different. When I walked in, there were three women there (one who was the owner, I could tell from photos I've seen of her online). She was there chatting with 2 friends while their children played. She also had her dog with her in the play area on the couch. It didn't feel professional to me and it felt like I was intruding in someone's living room. I wanted a latte and felt quite awkward to ask for one, like I was interrupting her hang out time, which is not how I felt during my first experience. Also- I know kids are kids but the children are obviously very familiar with the facility and they thought it was funny to turn the lights on and off in the back room where the playhouse is. I didn't stay as long during my second visit. I still think this cafe is nice to have in Shorewood and I will visit again, I just hope my next visit is more like my first one.

We went on a Tuesday morning, so it really wasn't busy. The facility is huge! I was genuinely shocked. It really allows space for parents to participate inside the playground/maze as needed. My little guy is only three, so as much as he'd like to act tough and go explore inside alone, he did need me to go with him. So many fun obstacles, slides, ramps, and blocks to enjoy. Endless entertainment and a great way for kiddos to burn some energy. This place seems great for birthday parties or large gatherings. It's also super clean which I was impressed by. Hand sanitizer available all over, too. It would be great if they had "membership" type options, or a yearly pass. Look forward to our next visit.

We had our friends from another city meet us here for a 9:30 am Saturday play date. There was a bit of a line to get in, but nothing too crazy. Both kids (3 years old) had an absolute blast! The cost is reasonable, at only $14 per person (adults included) and you receive a $3 off voucher for the adjacent parking garage ($7 and some cents total after taxes). There is something to do for children of all ages, including. a quieter play area for tots and babies 4 and under, which was much needed after my daughter was trampled by a much older child in the Floor is Lava area. My daughter especially loved the outdoor play area on the balcony! I wish the cafe had more to offer or that there was a legitimate cafe attached with lunch options. We spent a solid 2 hours here, and could have spent even longer had we not had the hour drive back home before lunchtime. We will definitely be adding this place to our yearly "to do" list!
