    Food was great! Came in on a Tuesday afternoon and while it was a bit dead (as it typically is), but our server was attentive and sweet. Got a crab cake eggs Benedict; the crab is a little faint but the meal itself was yummy.

    I was curious about this place after noticing it has nearly as many 1-star reviews as 5-star ones. I ordered the steak and egg sandwich, and it was genuinely above average. The steak was tender, they use grass-fed meat, which is surprisingly hard to find. The eggs were cooked perfectly; honestly, some of the best I've had anywhere. The food also came out right on time. But then the potatoes showed up sad undercooked with a slight bitter taste which I did not enjoy. And also, no condiments, no utensils. You gotta beg like a supplicant just to get a fork and some hot sauce or ketchup. It's the little things that make a difference. Fix those rookie mistakes and this place could actually be the spot. Right now it's teetering on the edge of being worth a damn.

    Bittersweet return--amazing service, but the food just didn't hit like it used to. My husband and I used to eat at Mimi's Café in Fontana often before COVID, and we had so many good memories here. When we were recently in the area, we decided to stop by and see how it was doing. Seeing that Mimi's had survived the pandemic honestly made us happy--this place felt nostalgic, familiar, and comforting. But unfortunately, that excitement turned into disappointment. We arrived around 11:00 AM, and the restaurant was fairly busy. What really stood out was the server, who was wearing all the hats--hostess, server, and cashier. She was clearly experienced, managing the entire front of house with grace, professionalism, and kindness. Despite the lunch rush, she made sure every guest was greeted and informed ("Just give me a few moments, I'll be right with you")--her service was top-notch and a huge reason this review isn't any lower. The food, however, fell short. My husband ordered the Salmon Benedict I had the Short Rib Benedict Each dish was $19, and sadly, both were under-seasoned. We had to add salt and pepper to even bring the dishes to life. The food was edible, but nothing special--just something to fill our stomachs. Our taste buds were genuinely sad. In today's economy, when every dollar matters, it's frustrating to spend nearly $40 on two plates that felt uninspired. There's too much good food out there to settle for mediocre. We also noticed that the restaurant seems to have become a popular spot for an older demographic. It's a good place for group dining or church gatherings, thanks to its spacious layout. It made me wonder if the food is intentionally toned down in seasoning to suit their core clientele--which is understandable, but disappointing if you're looking for flavor. Bottom line: We were rooting for this place. We really wanted it to be as good as we remembered. The service was truly excellent, and we respect the hustle of the staff--but with prices this high and food this bland, we probably won't be coming back.

    The food is definitely not what it use to be. Not sure what kind of au gratin potatoes these were but they were covered in what might have been butter and oil. No cheese taste at all. Server was okay, and the peach mimosa was the best thing we ordered. Overall I'd say way too over priced and tasteless food. Don't recommend.

    We ordered the Thanksgiving Feast for a work potluck. Please see the pictures I posted for the items that are included. It says that it will feed 8-10 people... they must have meant children bc there's no way that 8-10 grown adults will be full off of this meal. At the most it would probably will feed 4-5 adults however very unlikely that it would feed 8-10 people. I was pretty disappointed that we dropped over $200 for this, plus gratuity for them to pack it into a box and had me carry it out to my vehicle on a rainy day. What was the point of tipping them?! On top of that, they included two little 1oz containers with the fried onions for the green bean casserole. I kindly asked if I could have two more and almost wanted to laugh out loud when the gal told me they will have to charge me for it. I'll stick to honey baked ham going forward- truly this was a disappointing experience. The only reason why I'm giving even one star is bc the GM called me to ensure that I knew the feast was not warmed up. I asked him how big the turkey was and when he told me it was 5lbs I started to laugh! I said no way a turkey can be that small... he said maybe 10lbs and I thought "okay that's a lil more like it" boy was he right... this turkey is the size of a whole chicken!!!

    Came here for breakfast. We haven't been in a few years but used to come on a regular basis to eat an early real fast and sit at the bar for mimosas. This time we arrived about 9 to do the same but were told there was not a bartender present. No problem - we still enjoyed our breakfast of avocado toast with poached eggs (a nice addition was the chili flakes) and the wonderful orange juice the serve. Our service was great - no complaints; be prepared it was cold though. Overall great food and service. Feature was the pumpkin muffin which my husband enjoyed with his eggs & bacon. Coffee was on the weak minus the one star. Thanks Mimi's for enjoying our Saturday morning.

Honestly I've had better service at McDonald's. That's embarrassing for a restaurant like The Cut where food prices are not cheap. I'm sure it was just this one individual that was performing poorly, but it left us with a bad experience where we simply don't want to come back, and take our business elsewhere.

For this review, I will focus on the Lobster Tail Roll ($36), Gyoza ($14), and Monaka Ice Cream ($7). I arrived at Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) on Sunday (around 12:50PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE. I had a reservation for 1PM, but a reservation felt superfluous since the restaurant was VERY empty. Throughout the entire dining experience, I only noticed one other group arrive. Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience. Honestly, the only reason this review is "5 Stars" is because our waitress was EXEMPLARY. Although the ambiance and cooking staff was lackluster, the front of house is MAGIC. Texas Roadhouse has moved its takeout service to a dedicated pickup area outside the restaurant, making the whole process much faster and more convenient. I ordered my steak medium-rare, and unlike previous takeout orders where it would end up medium or even overcooked by the time I got home, this time it was still perfectly medium-rare, juicy, and exactly as ordered. That alone made a big difference. They also included their famous fresh rolls, which are always a nice bonus and never disappoint. I tried the Texas Chili as a side for the first time, and it completely exceeded my expectations. It was loaded with meat, rich, flavorful, and hearty. I honestly wish I had ordered it sooner--it'll definitely be my go-to side from now on. It's great to see these improvements. The food quality, the smoother pickup process, and the overall experience have all gotten even better. I'll definitely be back!
