The birrria omelette- a huge portion and nicely spiced potatoes

Biggest meanest omelette I have ever had was here! Professional service and a full bar for breakfast! With a homey yet high end ambiance - try it! They aim to please!

Great selection of food. I enjoyed my pumpkin latte with my eggs, Benedict good company and if you wanna try something spectacular try the pumpkin bread with cinnamon butter.

Finding the restaurant was a difficult part. The gps took you to the center of the shopping area, but it is around on the front side near the road. Our server Tammy was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious The price was reasonable. The atmosphere is very inviting. I highly recommend this voice.

    Stuffed French toast

Making the choice for a little more refined breakfast on a Sunday morning, my wife and I selected Mimi's Cafe on 200. We'd been here for lunch and dinner before, but never breakfast. It was very clean and quiet. My wife had the stuffed French toast Grand Breakfast and I opted for the Breakfast Burrito. I asked for onions with my breakfast potatoes. The burrito, to be honest, was fine. I'd say very pedestrian, actually. When I think burrito, I guess I expect to have a little bit of flavorful taste. It was an omelette in a flour tortilla. The brisket was just...meat. A little disappointing, but nothing wrong. Just meh. The stuffed French toast was amazing, though. The orange marmalade was not overpowering, so concerns of it being too much were unfounded. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. And the pomegranate mimosa was a hit. The service from Miss Tammy was spot on: attentive but not hovering.

I was just driving by the area looking for a TELSA CHARGEING STATION AND THE PARKING LOT HAS ONE ! Main reason why we had lunch at Mimi's ! The restaurant is interesting, almost very formal in a causal way, it's a bistro! The food was very bland and plain or at least what one of my sisters got and myself. One of my sisters got the a Turkey sandwich, which she said was delicious ! My other sister got a burger and said it was good. On the other hand I got the jambalaya with pasta and it was very bland, i've been to New Orleans, and no jambalaya tastes like the one in New Orleans lol. I was thinking if I got it with rice, would it have been better ?!?!?!? My other sister got the tomato basil soup and it didn't taste like anything either ! We are Hispanic girls who eat foods rich in seasoning flavor etc .. The bread pudding was GOOOD! Moist and full of flavor so happy about that . Our server was very very nice and sweet , won't be rushing back here, but if I do it'll be with my elders !

I was looking on Yelp for a restaurant in St. Augustine to celebrate my birthday, and La Nouvelle…read morecaught my eye with such great reviews! I knew we had to go. I'm so glad I did. This French restaurant is located in a charming 3-story historic Jefferson house, once owned by Thomas Jefferson's great-granddaughter, Maria Jefferson Eppes Shine. The restaurant is on the first floor, with the entrance tucked away in the back. They have parking in the back. The second and third floors are home to a cozy Bed and Breakfast. We arrived right at 6 p.m. and were seated at a special table by the window. The restaurant isn't huge, but it has a lovely atmosphere. Renee was our server and treated us to a complimentary champagne for the occasion. She explained the menu and the specials. The Chefs Dinner Menu was fascinating, but unfortunately, I don't eat lamb. The menu changes frequently, so I'll definitely check it out again in the future and pair it with the optional Sommelier's wine pairing. There are so many wonderful choices, but I finally decided on the Bouillabaisse, remembering all the positive comments on Yelp. When my order arrived, it was presented on a large platter with a gorgeous display. It tasted as good as it looked, with the lobster eyes staring at me. It was a whole lobster, conveniently cut, which made it easier to eat. The combination of lobster, shrimp, mussels, and clams in a saffron-flavored broth was amazing. I'm so glad I chose it. My husband opted for the Steak au Poivre with Pomme Aligot. It's mashed potatoes with melted cheese, butter, and cream. The texture was a bit tougher than regular mashed potatoes, but still delicious. I tasted his filet, and it was so tender. He loves the poivre sauce on his steak. Renee recommended all the wines we picked. We started with the complimentary Frederic Chopin Brut Blanc de Blanc, and we really liked it, so we ordered more. For my meal, I had the Barbebelle Rosé, and my husband had the Peyrassol Merlot Syrah blend. Both wines complemented our meal perfectly. We did run into an issue with my Bouillabaisse, as it was a bit too salty. The manager, Parnos, came and apologized and had the chef prepare a new batch for me. They fixed the problem right away. I'm really impressed with the service, the amazing food, and the beautiful restaurant that's now La Nouvelle. They even gave me an amazing dessert with a birthday candle for free! It had a chocolate center, a crispy crust, whipped cream topping with chocolate morsels. La Nouvelle was outstanding in so many ways, making my birthday super special.

Nestled is a residential neighborhood, this historic house offers indoor and outdoor seating, with eclectic decor and welcoming atmosphere. The chef' put together a fabulous menu and we thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The Lobster Bisque is in my top 10 and the Duck was very tasty and beautifully served. My wife's onion soup was good and her Steak Au Poivre was plentiful and tasty. The service was excellent and our server was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend La Nouvelle and I look forward to returning to try other dishes.

Parking is available on the side of the restaurant, although the 1 available spot had an employee squatting down cutting rosemary from a bush. We waited several minutes to give the employee time to finish, but he never acknowledged us or offered to move for a moment. Eventually parked elsewhere, but was a bit concerned about the rosemary that might b in r dish. Love they grow their own herbs, but this rosemary is next to all the car exhaust and where someone might dump their leftover drink or let their dog go potty. Eek. A raised planter or gated area for herbs would b better. Inside, decor is ok but could use some elevating to make it more inviting and upscale. Loved the live music - had a duo playing jazz. There's also a bar available if u prefer that to table dining as well a an outdoor patio. We chose inside seating at a table. It's sort of set-up like an old house so we were in the back room with maybe 4 other tables. Server was not very personable, but fine. Ordered Caesar salad, duck risotto, rack of lamb and souffle. All was okay, not great but not bad. Appreciated that the meats were not gamey so seemed of good quality. Cook was as requested. Presentation was nice. Flavor was lacking on both meats as well as the risotto and couscous. Caesar was very basic and average but appreciated lettuce was fresh. All food was delivered surprisingly quickly. Indicated r interest in souffle when ordering and was initially told it would b blueberry caramel. He then returned to tell us that's incorrect - it's strawberry pineapple. However, the server never put in the souffle order so we ordered the strawberry pineapple souffle after finishing r meals (and sitting with empty dishes in front of us for awhile) while people kept walking past us. Not a problem. It arrived and wasn't actually the correct flavor. We weren't picky so we ate it but he never addressed it, apologized, asked if that was okay. It was just a bit odd. Again, everything was fine, but we won't b returning.

We made reservations on Open Table for our party on Tuesday night. When walking in, the interior is mainly red and black coded with French paintings and spirits on display. We got to meet one of the owners at the hostess stand and she spoke with us briefly and was very nice. They were not a lot of people here so it was kind of quiet with some light background music. My family glanced over the menu and ordered some appetizers like the crab stuffed shrimp and the escargot. The waiter was an older gentleman and could've been more friendlier or attentive to our table. We were offered bread which was soft and good. The apps came out and were just ok. The shrimp was pretty plump and fresh tasting, where as the escargot were ok. They were chewy but very overpowered by the garlic butter. We waited for at least another 25 - 30 minutes before our dinner came out. Our waiter did not inform us of any updates of our food, but we watched him laugh and talk with other tables in the dining room. As we got our food, he did not ask if we needed anything or everything was ok. My dad's beef bourguignon was very dry and the sauce had a burnt taste to it. My mom's grouper, she said it was good but the lemon sauce it came with was salty. My swordfish was dry and overcooked. I did like the fingerling potatoes as they were cooked perfectly and the sauce on the plate was good as well. When the waiter finally came to check in, my mom mentioned she was not a fan of the sauce on the dish and he just said oh ok and walked away. My dad mentioned it was my mom's birthday in hopes that the waiter would make up for his terrible service and food mishaps and he just said happy birthday. We were very disappointed overall as this is has a classy vibe and the prices are priced pretty high for the quality of food that we received.
