We got the takoyaki, chirashi don, spicy tuna roll and chicken katsu with curry sauce. Everything was great. The curry sauce was packaged separately so the chicken was nice and crispy and there was a ton of fish in the chirashi. The inside of the restaurant is quaint and looks cozy but I was just in briefly to pick up our order. It was pretty full tho so I take that as a good sign. This place is a tiny hole in the wall in the shopping center near Snell and Blossom Hill next to the Pet Club. The staff are friendly and you order your own food using a QR on your table. The food came out quickly and fresh. There is more on their menu than on their website. I got the spicy tuna that came with cucumber that made it hot and refreshing and their beef udon that came on a hot plate (crispy edges) and lots of veggies. The rolls are delicious and the sides are delicious. When I was at the restaurant I saw people order the tofu soups and they looked and smelled delicious. The service was amazing, I think it is a mom and pop restaurant with the pop being the sushi chef and you can tell they are talented. I have been here a few times now and I feel confident that it is a new favorite spot of mine in South San Jose. The food is delicious and the service is kind. I think most of the dishes are Japanese fusion but not completely sure. I tend to get the soba noodles with seafood. Iv gotten it fried and as a soup. Both ways are delicious. Plenty of parking and it was empty when we came in at 5 PM on Friday night. Once seated, order from the bar code on the phone. We order the cucumber salad which was okay. The unagi over rice was too much rice and 10% of unagi. The pork ramen was okay, missing bamboo and mushroom as a topping. The poke bowl was not fresh. The dry beef udon was okay. The grill squid was tiny portion. All the foods came out different times but I think it will be slow if it get busy.
