Sizzling eel rice - mixed with added green onions
    Cin-Yee S.

Great hidden gem at Blossom Valley and Snell, serving everything from sushi to ramen to sizzling rice plates to hot pot and more. Enjoyed my sizzling, eel rice ($17) and asked to add green onions. I feel like the plate could've been hotter so that I could get that crisped rice, but I can always take it home and fry it again. Service was very efficient and friendly.

Really good place to grab food with family. Located in a quiet corner off blossom hill and snell its food is really tasty. Service is really nice and fast too. You can order on your phone so very convenient and they have some sauces and seasoning at the table to make things just how you like.

No idea why it took me so long to finally try Mimi's Kitchen, but this place is a great little hole-in-the-wall gem. Plenty of parking made it easy, and right when you walk in, you're welcomed with friendly service and warm hospitality. The menu has a solid variety of Asian options, from ramen, sizzling plates, sushi and more so there's something for everyone. Everything we ordered was really tasty and well-prepared. You can tell they care about the food and the overall experience. Definitely coming back to try more items. Worth it and highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I found this place on TikTok and gave it a try last night. The restaurant was very cute and clean! The service was very fast and friendly. It was packed when we got there, but they seated us very quickly. I liked the ordering system where you scan the QR and order yourself. I haven't seen that in restaurants here in the US! The food was also SUPER tasty!!! The menu had so many great options, we didn't know what to choose. We definitely will be going back to try more!

Craving a bunch of Asian food but not really sure what exactly? Mimi's Kitchen is an excellent choice since it has everything. From udon, sizzling plates, ramen, sushi, to hot pot. This place is great for indecisive groups. I've had their udon a year back and thought that was just okay. However, I decided to try their sushi tonight via DoorDash and was blown away by the presentation and quality of the sushi. All three of the rolls were excellent and this will be my go-to spot for sushi. This place is just down the street from my home, so I'll be sure to try other items in person.

Cute lil hole in the wall restaurant in the blossom hill area! Tucked in semi concealed corner of the aqui parking lot Mimi's kitchen is pretty easy to miss. Inside decor is minimal. You order via QR code at your table, but you pay with a server. We got the cucumber salad and 2 tonkatsu ramens. Loved everything we ate! Portions are really big for the price. Ramen had all the toppings and a generous amount of meat. It wasn't the best ramen I've had in my life, but for the price, pretty dang good. I'd like to come back and try their sushi rolls.

We went here for the first time last week, and will definitely stop again! The food was fresh and the service was fast and friendly. It's a nice casual, mom-and-pop type place. We had some sushi rolls, and sizzling plates. The fish was all very fresh, and the noodle and rice plates were very flavorful. No wait on a Saturday night, so if you're looking for a last minute local night out, it's a great choice!

pork belly ramen was super flavorful, meat was tender, sushi rolls came out great, lion king roll was a bit mushy but otherwise the sushi tasted fresh and refreshing, friendly and efficient staff, clean and cute indoor seating perfect for family time or date night. def will be back and recommend to people!

*Food* This is my third time going here and I love it every time! Ordered the 49'er roll (my go-to roll at sushi spots), seared salmon pressed sushi, and salmon sashimi bowl. Every roll was so yummy. The ingredients, especially the fish, tasted very fresh. I can tell they took their time to make each dish look presentable. The sushi to rice ratio was also balanced (not too much rice) and uniform all around. *Service* The service was good. The server was attentive. Food didn't take very long to come out even with a full restaurant. One thing to note is you scan a QR to order. I typically prefer a paper menu, but they had photos and the servers were attentive so it was no problem at all. *Ambiance* The inside decor is cute and modern. Sound levels were quiet to medium. I like the plates that they served the food on as well. Overall, very clean.

First time here and it was so good! I ordered online and the process was so easy. Location is in a plaza with a ton of parking and when I got there my order was ready. Service was also very nice and friendly. I appreciate the take-out packaging! It was so thoughtfully packed and the bag was nice and reusable And all the rolls were delicious! My favorite was the Golden train roll. And I also got the Spicy tuna roll and super California roll. I'll definitely be back!

Great food, friendly and fast service, and nice quiet setting. You order with a QR code right from your table. Food comes quickly. We had miso, edamame, two orders of Philadelphia rolls and a 49er roll. All were tasty and fresh.

This place is unassuming - in the corner of the plaza on snell and blossom hill. Plenty of parking. Super cute decor and friendly employees. I was a little nervous because they have a big menu - sizzling plates, hot pot, udon, sushi and more. However, I was really pleasantly surprised that our food was delicious! Sizzling katsu plate - a large portion of well-seasoned rice, chicken katsu, corn, and green onions served with gravy on the side. Cheesy corn - ok this is not good for you and very indulgent, but it was so good. Buttery corn with tons of cheese baked on top- it just worked! Sushi - we tried the lion king roll and the 49ers roll and both were really good. Also, their packaging for to-go orders is unreal- beautiful and functional. Every little detail is thought of and I can't wait to go back.

Discovered a hidden gem in a super convenient spot for a dinner meet-up. It's tucked away in the plaza behind a nail salon, so it's easy to miss if you're just driving by. We got there around 6pm and were the only ones in the restaurant, which had me a little skeptical at first. But about 30 minutes later, the place quickly filled up so glad we came early and snagged a table! For 4, we ordered: - 2x sizzling short rib pepper rice - sizzling pork katsu w/curry sauce - chicken udon soup - ika shoga yaki Since we were the first to order, everything came out pretty quickly. The dishes arrived on hot stone plates, sizzling with a cloud of smoke. Just be sure to stir or mix so nothing sticks to the bottom. Every dish was flavorful, portions were generous, and honestly, each plate was more than enough for one person (with room to share).

This being my first time, I was told I could either scan a QR code to order or have a server take my order. I want to say we waited about 15 minutes, and despite there being 4 to 5 employees working, not one checked on us. And they were looking at us. The whole time, we had to get up multiple times just to get someone's attention. That was ridiculous. I ordered the house ramen. The broth was tasty, but everything else was pretty mediocre and lacked lots of flavor. But overall, the service and food didn't live up to the price. I was actually really disappointed. There are so many great ramen spots nearby, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

But my last visit was honestly one of the weirdest restaurant experiences I've had. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen with thick noodles. When the bowl came out, it had the wrong noodles. No big deal -- mistakes happen. I let the server know and she apologized and went back to the kitchen. I happened to be sitting right next to the kitchen so I could hear everything. The server told the cook that I wanted thick noodles instead... which made it sound like I changed my mind. That wasn't what happened at all. The server came back and asked if I wanted the thick noodles on the side or if I wanted them to remake the bowl. I asked if they can remake it. She takes the bowl back, talks to the kitchen, then comes back and politely tells me the kitchen is slammed and they can't remake the ramen, but they can give me the thick noodles on the side. She apologized again. So I asked her, "Wait... so I'm supposed to take the noodles out of my bowl and put the thick noodles in myself?" She says... yeah. LOL. I was genuinely confused. I know the server took the order correctly because she confirmed it when I ordered. The part that threw me off was the kitchen acting like remaking the bowl was some huge request. C'mon... this isn't omakase. It's ramen. If the order is wrong, just remake the bowl. I wasn't trying to cause a scene so they brought my ramen back, we finished dinner, and I left a 5% tip. Been coming here for years but after that interaction with the kitchen... I'm good. Not coming back. That cook was acting goofy.

We were able to park on a side street & walk. Just a couple of blocks. They saw we were on the list & were seated right away. We chose to sit out on the patio. They had fans going, so the temperature was perfect. We were immediately served water in large containers. Helpful so we didn't have to ask for refills. (Our container emptied one time, and without asking, we were immediately brought another one.) You scan a barcode at your table on your phone to get the menu & order. I wasn't so sure about it being I'm technically challenged. Lol We had our 19yr old son with us though, and he loved it. Also helpful if you're going to split the bill. You just use your own phone. They have a big "heat level" chart on the wall that is helpful to see before you order. I got the sweet butter corn ramen & loved it. We all got our ramen within about 10-15min of ordering. Perfect size serving. Best ramen I've ever had! The broth was so flavorful & noodles perfect. I loved the way the egg was done. I got heat level one, which I thought had a nice spice to it. I tried my son's who ordered level 2 & it was a bit too spicy for me. When you order, they give you a bunch of options to check. What type noodles, extra egg, type of meat, add-ons, etc. I removed the bamboo shoots from mine. I would definitely go back & possibly try a different ramen, but knowing me, I'll get the same but probably add mushrooms. Other thing I thought was cute... there was a thin slice of what looked & tasted like imitation crab in the ramen. I had one slice & my son 2. Turns out it's to signify what heat level you got!
