My normal nail lady was all booked and I had an event in the evening so I decided to give Mimi's a try since it had mixed reviews and it is close to home. Mistake - my mani lady was painting all over my fingers and missing pieces of my nail bed. It was burgandy so it was obvious. The consistency on my nail was not even. It looked horrible so I asked her to just remove and just do clear instead. She just laughed at me. Pics are what I left with. Pedi was fine, nothing positive or negative. Mimi did my full set, and I wish I remembered the name of who did my pedicure. But both did not disappoint! Mimi listened to my request on oval, thin nails and did a great job! Beginning note: Call in to make an appt. They're busy! I called in and scheduled an appt for a gel manicure before the holiday festivities. They were very accommodating and got me in right away. Ellie was amazing !!! She transformed my terrible nail set into natural beautifully nails I should have taken photos of my nails. But I was so embarrassed of the duck bills I had hanging off my fingers! I hated the color of which had 3 coats caked on. Ellie transformed them! It wasn't a great pedicure experience. Not only did she cut my nail uneven, she wasn't even trying to help me with my shoes and the nail got messed up, she tried to pat it with polish and it was still messed up obviously, so I asked her to fix it. she ended up kicking my slippers and rather annoyed to have to fix it, once she had the nail polish off I asked her to fix the shape and then the lady behind her and her started talking of-course in their native tongue. I'm assuming that I asked her to fix it.. had she not sped through the pedicure and asked if it was ok before polishing I would have told her it's messed up. She finished and brought the slipper she was suppose to help me with initially n quickly placed them on. I just wanted to leave at this point. Also my callus was not even touched! I don't usually leave reviews but my experience here was very disappointing. I walked in with no appointment and a gentleman was available to do my nails. I asked for square nails and he rounded the first hand and later asked again what I wanted. When I repeated square he went back to the first hand he had done and attempted to fix. I didn't have very long nails to begin with so disappointment #1. He then proceeded to do the cuticles. First hand was in the water less than 30 seconds, cuticle removal was a joke. Tools were brought out from a sealed bag but he did not use those tools to do the job. Most of the nails had cuticles removed on one side of the nail and not the other. I had to ask three times for him to relook at them. After the third time they were still not great but how many times is one to keep asking...disappointment #2. I had initially selected a red color polish but upon seeing the level of detail that was being applied I decided to go with a neutral/super light color. Base coat application was subpar. Several nails did not have full coverage. Polish application was clumpy, several nails ended up with specs from dried polish and nothing was done to remove them. finally several nails had a rough end from poor filing that stood out once the polish was applied...disappointment #3. It had been a while since I had gone to a salon to get my nails done and after this experience I am going back to doing them myself...save the money and do a better job. read more

This was my first time getting tips and this place had pretty good reviews so me and my friend decided to go here. Then in the begging of my appointment, the lady doing my nails got up and left for TWO AND A HALF HOURS and at that point I was furious. I told the other workers there that I had other places that I needed to be and that I wanted a discount and they neglected to give me one. My friend got her nails done and and the whole time, the lady that was doing her nails, kept checking her phone and getting up and leaving. Only go to this place if you have multiple hours allotted for a mani/ pedi. Arrived at noon on a sunday, the place was dead. The gentleman took 45+ min for a regular polish pedicure, then took another 45+ min for a regular polish manicure (not including drying time). They had the staff to do both at the same time, so I'm not sure why they didn't. Unfortunately he ended up cutting my thumb nail so short that it hurt when he filed them. I tried to get him to stop w words, but he didn't understand, so I had to pull my hand away for him to stop. Overall I'm dissatisfied w the customer service and overall experience. This place isn't bad. Prices are VERY reasonable for a mani/pedi. ($25 for gel mani, $17 for spa pedi). It is basic, but clean, and the staff is VERY, VERY friendly. Mimi kept coming over to check on my chair and make sure I was comfortable, and I thought the length of the massage felt a little longer than other places, which is a special treat. They also did an amazing job on my 6 year old's mani -- cleaned & trimmed her nails and added a sparkly coat of bright pink glittery polish for $3! read more

Alice made me feel like I was in heaven. She gave the best pedicure I have ever had. A regular pedicure cost $17 but I upgraded to the $35 spa pedicure. I went in for a mani/pedi. The lady finished with my mani less than 15 minutes later. She neglected my cuticles and only tended to them once I asked if she was really done. Also first manicure that hurt. Polish job on my toes is less than thrilling.. she left polish on my toes. The fill itself was not the best because she kept sanding way to close to my skin and eventually cut several of my fingers but like I said, the paint job was very good. However, I have been to this location three times and all three times I had a mediocre experience. Simply put all three times I have come here for a pedicure, and the technician seemed to spend a good amount of time (maybe even too long) on the pedicure, but at the end of it all, really did not pay attention to detail. I have LITERALLY never asked someone to redo my manicure THREE times due to the their error and poor quality polish. It was the biggest waste of time and money. I have been getting mani/pedis for more than 25 years - this was the worst experience ever. And the owner sat right there and clearly saw how unhappy I was but never said a word.
