A family event at this salon - and while the others had satisfactory experiences, mine was the opposite. We made a reservation since there were 4 of us. I was the last to receive service as I had the simplest treatment: a classic manicure. The woman was very rough and in addition to her roughness of scraping my nails, her own fingernails often dug into my fingers as she worked. (I think she was the owner as she answered the phone several times while doing my nails). Then she cut my cuticle on my thumb so deep it was bleeding and wouldn't stop. I only hope the instruments were sterilized. The area still hurts two days later. I should have stopped her and did my nails myself which I generally do. Not the enjoyable experience I expected. And the polishing job was so bad, bubbles formed. Complete waste of time and money, leaving me with pain and a mediocre manicure. read more

To start, she barely touched my cuticles at the beginning, just totally dry hands did like 3 snips at my cuticles and applied no cuticle oil or anything. The only place I go to get my nails done. They are on the pricy side...but you can't beat the quality or experience. My gel nails are always done how I like and they're great about fixing a chip if I've been hard on my hands a few days after my appointment. Call ahead for an appointment because this place gets super busy on the weekends. Weekdays are usually more chill but still call. My boyfriend also gets his pedis here and love the massage chair and service. He usually just falls asleep and wakes up with clean and buffed feet. He wears sandals almost everyday day and hits the beach hard so pedicures are a fun way for us to spend some time together getting pampered. read more

One of the BEST Nail Salons in town. I don't even live in the area but have come back due to their amazing service and cleanliness. They DO NOT waste any time to sit you down (when it's really busy, you might have to wait but that's fair game). If a seat is open, you'll be sitting in it as you tell them what you want. They get you in and out in about 30-35 minutes for both Mani/Pedi Combo. Staff is nice and friendly! I love that they are not SCREAMING from across the room like at some shops. They are respectful and very personal. They do remember you when you return so that's great customer service in my mind. Cindy the owner is the BEST. She's friendly and always has the latest and greatest nail trend and colors at hand. I get the Gel Pedi and I'm not kidding, her nail polishes lasts up to a month if I'm too busy to come in. NO CHIPS or scratches and she uses the top brands and don't have any cheap products like other Nail Salons. If you get your nails done and they chip in a few days, I highly recommend you finding a new Nail Salon. That's the first RED FLAG they are using cheap products. The ladies carefully took their time to perfect my nails which I appreciated since my last nail lady rushed and did a botchy job. PSA!!!!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL NAIL TECHS USING DIRTY TOOLS This was my first and last time coming here. I was excited to try this place because of all the positive reviews but do not be fooled. I came here for a full set and to my dismay I watched my nail tech use nothing but dirty file bits. I literally watched her grab them from the box which stated "soiled" and were visibly dirty. Then she proceeded to grab a nail file which was clearly dirty AND USED to start shaping my nails. DISGUSTING. This is a HUGE HEALTH CONCERN I DONT KNOW HOW THEY ARE IN BUSINESS. Especially in a location like this charging the prices they do. The entire time she seemed distracted and did not even seem to be paying attention to what she was doing she kept leaving to answer the phone everytime it rang and was more engaged with the conversations she was having with the other nail techs instead of doing my nails. This was fine until she literally got up and left for a full 20 mins to eat her lunch. Literally in the the middle of doing the nail dip on my fingers. I wish I could give 0 stars. It took me over 2 hours to get my nails done I'm surprised my car didn't get towed.. I am quite literally traumatized. If I get a nail infection I would not be surprised. I usually like this place and have been here a couple times to get my nails done. But, a couple days ago, I had the worst experience. I was getting dip extensions and Cindy, my nail technician, was putting tips on and filing it down. When I looked at it, it was super lopsided and did not match the width of my natural nail. When I told her, she started getting annoyed but took the lopsided nails (3) off. And then when she was refiling, she filed so aggressively that she cut opened my skin and I started bleeding. She saw the blood and still continued to file, without any apology or even a mention. When she finished putting the tips on, she didn't measure to make sure they were even on both sides or showed them to me to make sure I was ok with it. And then when she was using the electric nail drill to make the dip even, she got close to my nail bed multiple times and it just hurt a lot. I winced a couple times but she kept going until on of my nail beds also cut open and bled. She again didn't say anything and continued to go on. My nails are not even, they are so close to the nail bed that it just looks obtuse, and are still lopsided. I advise to stay away from Cindy if you choose to go to this place. read more

I usually don't write negative reviews, but after my last visit to Angel Nail I felt like I needed to help potential customers steer clear of this place. So, my experience goes as such: I made an appointment a week ahead of time for Tuesday at 6pm. We showed up early at 5:45pm because I wanted to get an eyebrow wax and there were three ladies working and three ladies getting their nails done. The ladies getting their nails done had all just begun their services. I let the lady in charge know we had a 6pm appointment and she said she didn't see it in the books. I asked if they would be able to take us and they said yes, of course, please sit down and wait. My friend and I waiting until almost 7pm(their closing time) until they actually started working on our nails. They didn't let our finger nails soak at all, but we were soaking our feet for maybe 30 mins while we waited. I like to soak my hands and feet so that when the technicians work on my cuticles and dry skin it's soft and removable. They did a super rushed job on me and my friends gel nails. They didn't remove any dead skin or cuticles. They didn't even let our nails cute under the gel light for the full cycle. They would remove our nails and continue putting the next coat of paint before the previous one was set. I had to ask for a third coat of paint on my nails and they didn't put a topcoat on one of my big toe nails, so it's dull and not shiny like the others. For $90, this is NOT the place to get a gel manicure in the South Bay. They charged $40 + $5 design for my finger nails and $45 for my toes. I tipped the ladies $10 & $10 because I have worked in the service industry my whole life and I know they depend on tips. It's been 2 weeks since this awful experience and I have already broken two nails. Never before when I was bartendinf for years in San Francisco had I ever broken a nail after getting a get manicure, 4 weeks into it, let alone only 2 weeks and I am currently not working, but a SAHM. Do yourself a favor and skip this place and the ladies at Angel Nails step up your service and attention to detail if you're going to charge that much. read more

Simple polish on my nails lasts about 5-6 days compared to 2-3 days everywhere else in the area. They offer gel and artificial but i can't vouch for that Im a simple mani pedi girl. I went friday at around 6:20-30ish & i think the lady at the front was the manager idk but she was really nice she remembered me from the day before because I asked if they took credit, they do but only VISA & MASTERCARD (which is a bummer). I came back with a MASTERCARD which they didn't take for some odd reason & the lady took down a diff. card number over the phone, I never done that before so i thought that was pretty helpfull. anywho on to the nails....the young lady doing my manicure looked to young to even be working and I told her a specific way to shape them & I guess she decided to do them her way...I came home took a COLD shower && the next morning the paint started chipping & 2 nails broke like WTF!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE! absolutely atrocious. So in that plaza is a laser hair removal service and I was there getting lasered. And after I was done I had saw that this nail salon was open and I got excited since nothing has been open due to cover 19. I stop inside and ask them if they have time to do a full set today. The lady looked around and said yes. So I go inside and I choose my color. after that she starts applying the nail tips and gets going. I showed her a picture of the shape and length I wanted since I work in the hospital I can't have them too long. The shape was narrow square. and the link was not much longer than my natural nail like maybe 1/4 of an inch. She cuts all the tips to supposedly my Desired length which was completely off and not what I asked. One finger was like 3/4 of an inch long and the next was like the length of my natural nail. So what I'm saying is that none of the lengths were even. I don't say anything because I know she can always file down after she's done. So I let her continue and this is where she starts shaping my nail. When I tell you she made my shape into an almond I am not joking. The picture clearly shows narrow square or even I would take square regular. but she continues to do that hand that shape ..before she continues the next hand I asked her why it's not square like the picture shows and she blamed it on me for showing her a picture that wasn't clear enough for her to understand.. So then She says she will just remove those tips and fix them after so I let her do square on the other hand.After she fixed the shape on both hands it looked fine other than the length which was still an even. I let her do one hand starting with the dip process and it was so clumpy and uneven I asked her if it's supposed to look like this knowing well it's not and she said yes and that she will fix it when it's comes time to filing. After she does three coats of dip powder it looks so bad I asked her if she can change the color or if I can stop getting my nails done and she said that she cannot change the color because they're about to close and I said to her then why would she say has time for a full set if she was not expected to give me good service and not rush everything like she was doing. She got very defensive and start to make a scene so I asked her politely just to remove them. She had told me I would have to pay for a full set for doingOne hand of dip powder no filing in the other hand just had tips so I said no way. She said that's the only way I'll be able to leave is if I pay for a full set so she takes off all my nails and tells me to wash my hands and then I leave that was completely unacceptable to asked me to pay for that crappy job she did knowing she does not have time to take care of a customer without rushing if she had told me she did not have time then I would have not gone in and got my nails done by them. in conclusion this was the most disgusting and atrocious behavior I've seen at a nail salon ever in my life and I would not recommend my worst enemy to them. oh and I forgot to mention that she was being very rough and aggressive when taking off my nails and made me bleed on three of my fingers.
