My husband got a massage from Mina this morning, and since she had an opening, he booked me later in the day - without checking with me, which he knows I hate! - but he thought she was so great he was willing to risk my anger in order to get my an appointment with her. I needed this, so so badly. First of all, Mina is incredibly strong for such a small woman. She got all of my tight spots, and released a few muscles I didn't even know I had. First-time massage for my wife and I, and it was an absolute thrill! We were able to book a same-day couples appointment with Mina over the phone and she was super friendly in answering our questions and concerns about what to expect. My wife was more nervous than I was, since she isn't used to being touched by other people. When we arrived, we were greeted by Bethany, who we requested based on positive feedback we had previously learned. Bethany is a wonderful person. She immediately made my wife feel more comfortable about the couples massage we were about to receive. She brought us in to meet Mina and our session soon began. I've had issues with my shoulders due to previous injuries, and Mina worked magic that really left my arms feeling great. My body was a little sore from snorkeling the day before and Mina worked stretching into the massage that really worked wonders. Mina is great. I absolutely recommend her. She has strong hands that should be sufficient for anyone. Bethany took great care of my wife. My wife said it was the best experience. She did a great job eliminating the kink in my wife's neck and my wife felt so relaxed the rest of the day. When my session with Mina ended, I was curious to see what Bethany can do. I was able to add on an additional 25 minutes with Bethany. I booked an appointment with Mina for 80 minutes because I really needed it. As I told her, she ranks up with the best 2 massages I have ever had in my life. And I have had a lot and I was also married to a massage therapist, so I know what a good one is. She is superb! I rarely book one when on vacation, because they are usually overpriced and do a fair job. Not so with Mina! Her prices are quite reasonable for Maui. And she is so experienced, she knows exactly what to hone in on your body. And with the 80 minutes, I do believe she got every single muscle in my body. She used a combination of lomi lomi, sports massage and deep tissue. I went on Saturday and have always wanted an 2nd massage within a week, to just get those remaining kinks out. She was so awesome I booked her for Wednesday also and am really looking forward to it. I have some low back issues and it felt significantly better after her massage. She will get me all fixed up to head home! I am sorry I can't take her with me! If I ever get back to Maui, I will see her. Mina gives an intense massage and thorough therapy. The intensity is always well balanced, for instance, if she is on your scapula she is also anticipating the release up on your traps and this applies to every inch of your body. She covered so many different angles, I was trying to save the words to describe it, but it is a massage in 3D (3-dimensions). It feels like you are getting a masage from two people at the same time. I have had hundred massages across the USA, and from as far away as Thailand, Philippines, Japan and Korea and this truly ranks as one of the best that ever had. The joint manipulation is fantastic and she had me in all the positions my physical therapist had recommended for sciatic and piriformis pain, WHILE ALSO giving a killer massage, incredible.
