My wife and I ate here for the 1st time and it wasn't bad at all. The place was very clean and the wait staff extremely friendly (ask for Yulani, hope I spelled it correctly). The fried dumplings were really good and fresh tasting. I had the crispy chicken ramen and it was pretty good and the broth was rich. The only thing that kept it from 5 stars was my wife had the seafood ramen and it lacked any real flavor. Even after putting extra salt and pepper in it the flavor was not there. Also the shrimp didn't seem very well cooked. We would come back but would try a different dish other than the seafood ramen. They are also having BOGO's on their ramen right now which is also attractive.

Food was amazing and the service by Zack was amazing as well, he was very knowledgeable and had great customer service I'll definitely be back

I was recommending this place for takeout and noticed one of my top Japanese restaurants for the…read morearea has a very low rating. I'm shocked. I have not left a review on Yelp in years. But here I am. Changed my password to save this criminally low rating for this place. Although, honestly, it has been a few years since I made it by and another friend didn't particularly LOVE it here when I asked before we visited, (Maybe other reviewers are right. I can't tell them.) 2 stars? I have 5 star memory in my case and a nice photo to back it up. Hmm... Maybe it is time to start leaving reviews again. My experience here in 2023 was nothing short of excellent. Beautiful architecture. Grand and pleasant feel. Great prices. Fresh sushi with excellent presentation for my boyfriend's birthday. Truly a hidden gem in McDonough. I have been wanting to go back! It was just that kind of place that we remembered fondly but things just never aligned properly to return. We had a nice quiet meal we never forgot. Service was fast, attentive, and kind. Sushi is his favorite food. Couldn't let him down and Yuki delivered. As far as the choice of sushi, we preferred the flavor of the nigiri and the sashimi to the maki rolls most. The meat was great and stood out on its own. So, if that matters to you, this is your spot. This large boat was worth every penny! Thank you for making this a memorable day for us!

This place was once a top notch hibachi restaurant. Today it is not!!! Food was horrible, not…read moreseasoned and loaded with onions instead of a good variety of vegetables. We ordered the hibachi at a table in the front. The waitress and her trainer were both very incompetent. The food was bland, the windows at the table were so dirty with fingerprints, food, and insects we could hardly enjoy our outing. The soup with the meal was just salted water with onion powder. What happened to the soup with scallions and mushroom?!?!? AND AND AND they charge you a fee to use a debit card instead of cash and it is not posted anywhere in the restaurant or the menu. The manager tried to make it seem like it was our bank charging us, while in reality it is our bank charging the restaurant NOT US!!! WHAT RESTAURANT CHARGES FOR USING A DEBIT CARD??? It's literally cash! Don't patronize this place. The food and the service were garbage. Also no salad with the meal because of the recall. They only gave an extra bowl of soup, which was not soup at all. Also watch your receipt, THEY ADD AN 18% GRATUITY TO EVERY ORDER!

Hello, ran it back today. My bestfriend thought they closed at 10 but when I looked online while we…read morewere headed there it said 9. So we called them around 8:15 to see if they were still seating people or when do they stop seating people and let them know we done the street. The lady on the phone said it's fine come on in. So we seated of course things were rushed which is understandable because people are ready to go home but it's like if we're not going to get decent service just say hey we want you guys to get the best service catch us again tomorrow cause this experience really is the exact opposite from first experience which I will still keep and add below this review. The drinks were out and flat. The menu says gratuity of 18% on groups 6+ but we were still charged that gratuity. We did hibachi sit down and didn't want any sides like the soup or salad so we could get straight to it since it's late but got extra charges for fried rice. I thought it would actually be included since it's hibachi. Then we realize everytime we come the prices or fees change but we always get the same thing. And the food was nasty. So we just boxed it up and headed out so we can go box home and throw it back on the stove or something, I don't know. I really just feel like this experience was due to it being late and everyone ready to go home. I've never had a bad experience here until today. My food and service is usually outstanding so the only advice I have is to never go too late or close to closing time outside of that service is usually great but not today tho. Previous review: Great food with quick and amazing customer service. I'm new to the area and this is my go to spot now. As soon as you walk in your greeted and seated right then and there. Love it here 10/10 highly recommend.

We took my daughter in for a birthday's eve hibachi experience. While the rest of us ate the…read morehibachi meal, my youngest still had chicken nuggets. The nuggets are different than they were in my first review; they are regular nuggets now (I'll upload a new picture). The hibachi food was very tasty. I thought the fried rice and the salmon were both particularly good. However, the show went much quicker than a normal hibachi show does. It seemed to cut some corners. For example, when the chef did the bit where he tossed food at guests to attempt to catch in their mouths, it was just plain white rice and one toss per interested person. Overall, I found the shorter show a little disappointing, especially given that they charge a mandatory 18% gratuity for the hibachi experience. Final critique of the hibachi experience: I want both chicken and salmon, however, that is not a combination that they offer. I could have chicken or salmon, but not both. Eventually, the person who took our order (a different person than our waitress) came back to let me know that I could have both chicken and salmon if I paid the steak and salmon price. Steak and salmon is a combination they offer. This seemed reasonable to me as that price was not far off from having either the chicken or salmon individually. We were there on Sunday and surprised to see there were multiple specials happening. One is that every Sunday is supposed to be "Kids Day" (uploading pic of the flyer) but this was never mentioned and our young children were offered nothing. I inquired about it on the way out and was told that we could have asked our waitress to bring the special items for the children. Why would this not just be something they do? The second special was specific to the month of September. This month, everyone can request a 30% rebate on their meal to be used at some other point this month. In order to get the rebate, you must stop back at the hostess stand after paying for your meal to get a rebate coupon in the amount of 30% of whatever you paid before gratuity. That coupon is like a gift card that you can use on a future meal, but only on the price of the meal, not gratuity. Because the hostess was busy when I was waiting for my rebate, the man at the bar offered to do it for me. This is where I inquired about Kids Day and was told that my waitress could've done it. We happened to be sharing our hibachi table with another family celebrating a birthday. Both of us bought the $10 birthday package. So, after our hibachi show, one of the restaurant's robots brought over two desserts and two birthday crowns with the robot's screen reading happy birthday. Soon after the robot arrived, three staff members came over with instruments and sang happy birthday to the girls. The birthday package includes a cheesecake slice for dessert and a $10 gift card to be used on a future visit. So, we left the restaurant with two future visit coupons. The women's bathroom was clean and well-stocked. *review edited to clean up my typos only*
