I've never been able to maintain a consistent work out routine, but Fit Social has changed that. I have fun in every class and I actually look forward to working out. A real range of people show up to practice and all feel comfortable and accommodated. The focus is on asana practice, mostly slowish flow vinyasa. Practicing here was a refreshing change from the typical "commercial" studio. Gina taught a unique, wonderful flow targeting all the appropriate muscles for the poses. I'm a yoga teacher myself and tend to get caught up in the details of the teachings when I practice, however, here it was easier to just let go, stay mindful and sink into the practice as a student. The class is organized in warm up, punches, kicks, forms, free style fight, and closing. Thanks to the lifted restrictions, mask is no longer required. From watching them practice, I really appreciate how patient yet firm sensai is with the kids. My daughter loves the class and looking forward to her continuous training with sensai. Ms. Gould has -Given me incentive to work out more frequently. -taught me techniques to strengthen my body through repetition exercises and core muscle training. -taught me various exercises using fitness balls, resistance bands, chairs and other home gym equipment. -challenged me to work harder to improve my stamina and balance. What I like most about Juliet Gould is her genuine enthusiasm for what she does, which is building strength and empowerment by helping me to reach my personal fitness goals. The workouts are varied to include Zumba, stretching, Yoga, Pilates, etc. Ms. Gould is mindful of my physical limitations, injuries, health concerns and works with me to design exercises that are tailored for my body. Since training with Ms. Gould, I have noticed an improvement in my body as it is leaner and stronger and I have been able to increase my workout time from one hour to an hour and a half.
