The event was great. The staff was informative and attentive, especially knowing it was my first time. I was welcomed with some hot tea. Restrooms were clean. When ever I drop in while traveling for work I am always cautious of the vibe at the gym to ensure I can get a work out but avoid any injuries. Everyone I drilled/rolled with was respectful and looking to learn. You can tell coach cares about creating a safe, high‑level training environment. The students were friendly, skilled, and great training partners. Traveling and dropping into new gyms can be hit or miss, but this place was absolutely a hit. All of the instructors bring amazing energy and the programming is unique and regularly changing, so you're never bored with a circuit or spin class. Everyone is so welcoming and honestly you can't help but feel cool when you're there. The small group training/personal training is unmatched. I've never been able to maintain a consistent work out routine, but Fit Social has changed that. I have fun in every class and I actually look forward to working out. Now, thanks to Fit Social, I am the strongest I've ever been. They also have a super convenient and yummy smoothie bar to get some post work out fuel. I recommend this gym to anyone and everyone. A real range of people show up to practice and all feel comfortable and accommodated. The focus is on asana practice, mostly slowish flow vinyasa. Usually there is a theme to the month or week, but requests for areas to work on are also welcome. Practicing here was a refreshing change from the typical "commercial" studio. Gina taught a unique, wonderful flow targeting all the appropriate muscles for the poses. I'm a yoga teacher myself and tend to get caught up in the details of the teachings when I practice, however, here it was easier to just let go, stay mindful and sink into the practice as a student. So my husband is super picky about martial arts since he has extensive training in martial arts himself, when he found out that Sensei Mike Polito is starting the kid class, he was excited. The class is organized in warm up, punches, kicks, forms, free style fight, and closing. Thanks to the lifted restrictions, mask is no longer required. From watching them practice, I really appreciate how patient yet firm sensai is with the kids. My daughter loves the class and looking forward to her continuous training with sensai.
