Sad annd unexpected update as of 9/9/25! Wow I hate to do this review but unfortunately I am. The first time using this company was really good and we had a great experience so I referred them to every one of my tenants, all of my family and friends, plus anyone that mentioned they were in need of movers. Then I used them a second time last week to over 2 refrigerators and a bookshelf I cannot move myself. Not only did they gouge out about a 4 inch piece from my brand new floors while moving the fridge, the owner lied to me and said he would come back and fix it right away, but then as soon as that payment went thru via Zelle he stopped answering all my texts and will not fix the damages to my floors his crew caused. All I asked was for someone to come and fix the damages (like he offered first hand) or if he could not to that to pay the cost for someone to fix it as the floors were just installed less than 6 months ago. And I got nothing, I got complete silence. I am so sad that it turned out this way and I will now never recommend/refer or use this company again and I will tell everyone of my experience with them. And i have all the pictures to proof what happened and text message conversations as well. This is not okay and not a way to do business with a loyal customer. I am was disappointed in you guys. What a totally disappointing moving day. Levi, brought 2 young men who were very polite and courteous, but they didn't know what to do. Not their fault, but why did my job get elected as a training session. Levi would not lift a finger to help only provided directions. I would not recommend this company. I feel like I wasted my money, I can hire 2 teenagers and rent a UHaul cheaper than his price. I only hope he was fair in what he paid the boys. 1 star for being on time read more

The first time I used this company in 2023 they were great. Arrived on time and got my move completed quickly. I also referred them to a coworker. Things have gone down hill since 2023. I booked Levi and his crew for a move on 10/29/25 and paid a $500 deposit. The deposit was a lot higher than last time but I didn't question it as I had used them before. Levi did not show up and did not even have the decency to call and give me an excuse. When I tried him his phone number was disconnected and an email I sent was returned as undeliverable. I opened a dispute with my bank which is where I found out that he had me send the deposit to the mother of his children. He then reached out to me on 11/28/25 to try to get me to drop the dispute. I declined as he could not pay be back in full and only offered to sign an agreement for a payment plan. He claims his workers all quit the morning of my move. My guess is the quit for lack of payment. While he says he is sorry he seems to think I am only out the deposit and does not grasp just how thoroughly he screwed me over has I had to find and pay for last minute movers to get out of my apartment on time. I hired two movers for what I thought would be a 4 hour job... unfortunately I had way more than I thought did! The two men that helped me moved were hard-working, courteous, and very respectful!! The owner Levi was there at the beginning which surprised me! He walked my home with me so I could show him what I really needed help with. Levi put my kids to work only because they wanted to, but he was helping them and telling them what to do and how to do it! Levi was texting me throughout the moving process with updates, which I thought was pretty awesome! I highly recommend Mindful Movers . You won't be disappointed!!! Horrible!! Our 4 hour estimate turned into 7.5 hours. They made a hole in the wall, broke armoire, lost screws to bed and scratched my fridge. Mind you, they didn't put our dressers back together. When talking to the owner about the issues he stated "they are only standard screws" "it's an easy fix" no apologies or actual action to fix. Reuploading review from google Update 2: Unbelievable now I have to defend myself when I've paid $2300 for poor moving services.I documented the sq ft of my home all the my appliances including my furniture and gym equipment that needed to be moved and spoke with Sarah the day expressing my concern about how many things I had they said don't worry we will take care of you (please note I spoke with two other movers who suggested I needed 2 moving trucks and 5 guys to move) I expected Mindful Movers would come with 2 trucks and 5 guys based on the info.They showed up with 1 truck 2 adults and a minor. I brought this up with Levi and he claimed to have the parents permission. As far as my house being a mess yes of course it's going to be a mess I'm moving hello and it's 2800 sq ft. I'm from the UK so the word sorry is literally used in every single sentence for everything it's a general term used. As far as Levi suggesting "I'm not ready" I hired them on the basis of full service meaning they pack my items for me, regardless I packed a lot of things myself. In reference to him saying every room was barricaded with trash that was untrue, I had donation clothes that we are placed in trash bags to go to Goodwill that were also labeled and he was informed of that. Levi responding online in such a derogatory way is very offensive and Malicious. I did a walk-through with Levi throughout my whole house and told him what needed to go to the house and what needed to stay because I was donating items and take some sensitive things in my car, such as my wine. They packed 10 cases of my 2014 private selection wine from my vineyard into the truck that was not supposed to go there and when I asked him where is my wine? his minor worker said it was put in the truck beyond being able to pull out because they already packed it up so I have Lost $2000 worth of wine. I spoke with Levi at the end of the 1st day because he wasn't taking ownership in regards to calculating what was needed based on the sq ft to move.I also delayed getting my house cleaned and carpets cleaned another day because he told me he would get everything completed on the 2nd day yet that didn't happen. I had to hire a 2nd set of movers last minute and rent a U-Haul truck to move the basic items that weren't moved eg; washer dryer, treadmill my clothes etc, after I posted my review Levi sends me numerous absurd text msg's which has me freaked knowing where I live this is beyond psychotic behavior in my opinion to a google review for a company doing a poor job of moving I haven't even asked for my money back, unbelievable!!! Update1: I hardly write bad reviews, this is the 2nd time I have written a bad review in my entire life; and it grieves me to do so, however, I anticipated getting moved in one day especially since I gave them all the information regarding the size of the house and what needed to be moved. I was worried because of the amount of things I had and I was reassured that they would take care of everything. Not only did they fail to do this, they took two days to not even move everything into our new house. They bailed last minute saying they had another job and I had to hire emergency movers to finish what they started just get the rest of my items out of old house. Granted they texted me two days later to finish what they started however, the trust is gone and over $2000 later I can't justify having to pay them more to finish what they failed to do. I wrote the original review on the first day before everything was completed, and I wish I had waited until the job was finished, however they didn't even finish. They packed my cases of wine in the truck that shouldn't have been in there along with other items that have been damaged because they didn't pack and wrap it properly. I would recommend calling another company. Positives: they adjusted to an issue with Uhaul's storage company. The two movers who came to help were communicative, quick, and friendly. They dinged a couple spots in a narrower doorway, but nothing terrible. Negatives: The owner. Given the adjustment, I was told there would be an additional cost, which then inflated to a completely different number upon completion. He charged my card without sending an invoice, notification, or breakdown. When I asked about the size of the charge, he immediately got defensive, told me any issues were my responsibility, and that he "records all of his customer calls" in an effort to what -- dissuade me from suing him? Essentially, he was asked a simple question, and went from friendly to unprofessional/rude/combative in 60 seconds flat. He said he'd "resend" the invoice. It was never sent in the first place, so his use of the word "resend" was not only patronizing, it was also false. While the movers were fine, the owner failed miserably at professionalism, maturity, communication and customer service. I'd suggest looking elsewhere so you don't have to deal with that during what is already a stressful time given the nature of moving. EDIT: Please note his response to other reviews as well as this one. Condescending, false information to protect himself, and yet again -- defensive and unprofessional. Not to mention he calls people mentally ill, hoarders, etc. Unreal. Do your research before hiring movers -- simply look at his responses to negative reviews here, on Yelp, on BBB, or elsewhere. We were very impressed with their great customer service, their ability to pay close attention to detail in not damaging our walls or staircase, and they even cleaned up after themselves. Mindful Movers, specifically Levi & Marshall, were beyond amazing. We hired them for two 8 hour days of dismantling, organizing, and loading a massive amount of dog kennels we won in an auction in Yermo Ca. They were timely, super hard-working, and handled our property with great care. Without them we would have never been able to get this done so quickly. ( my boyfriend & I were there, but they insisted on doing the heavy lifting/moving etc which was 100% fine with me) Levi contacted us the night before to confirm the time & place, they were on time, came prepared with their own tools, were ready for heavy lifting ( all day - in the sun - in the desert) , and they both had an amazing attitude despite the amount of work there was ( I cannot say the same for myself- I was complaining after an hour...it was a exhausting/ labor intensive, hot, and very technical job ) I am still shocked at how upbeat they remained the entire time! Positives Communication was decent, movers were friendly Negatives Arrived approx 2 hours late due to truck rental issues Movers dragged a shelving unit across the back ledge of the truck instead of utilizing the ramp to carry it up One of the movers stepped all over a recliner while she was positioning the shelving unit. I booked Levi on short notice about 5 days before my move-in day and he was able to squeeze me in. I am giving Mindful Movers 5 stars for the following reasons: 1) punctuality - he said he would be there at 10 and the truck arrived by 9:38am with his full team there by 9:59. He confirmed with me via text on the morning of. This really took the stress out of moving day. 2) professionalism - nothing was missing, nothing was broken, excellent communication with me the whole time. 3) honesty/integrity - He overcharged me by accident (my wall clock was one hour behind) and when I informed him of this, he immediately sent me a refund the same day. I first want to say that I typically don't take the time to write bad reviews, however after my experience with mindful movers, I thought it necessary. Recently, I was at my sister's house in San Diego helping her move. She had hired mindful movers after seeing decent reviews on yelp. The movers were scheduled to show up at 8am, and didn't show up til 9am, which in and of itself would have been fine. The two movers, I can't remember their names, were pretty good, they moved quickly and were kind. The owner, Levi, on the other hand was a different story. He was rude, condescending, and used profanities while my children were present. He made a comment about there being "too much junk to move" and I overheard him say "these people are too poor for this house." Like seriously? I do not respect or have tolerance for unkind people in general, but Levi was unkind, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. I actually feel sorry for him. MINDFUL MOVERS was hired to move our 3 bedroom, 3 car garage home, from Menifee to Hemet. I told Levi, we will need a 26 foot truck at minimum. He stated, no problem, he was a smooth talker over the phone. The day of our move, Levi shows up with a 17 foot, truck, that looked like an old beat up, busted up truck! I met him and his workers in my driveway, I asked, wheres the 26 foot truck that was requested, his smart ass employee says, its inside this truck! Needless to say, my wife and I were extremely upset. Levi stated, want us to leave! Well, now its too late I stated! How do we even begin to look for another company that can help us the same day. We allowed them to do the move. If he had come with the truck we told him to bring, and he stated he would, we could have made this move in one trip! Instead, he had to make three trips! Which was more costly due to his trip and mile charges. After the third trip, we had enough of Levi and his dishonest business practices. We told him we were done! I would move the rest myself. After they left our home, we saw that they broke the following; metal file cabinet key, which was busted off in the lock, by them shoving in as much as they could. They severely dented our fridge. We have before and after pictures that clearly show it had NO DAMAGE before the move. They put our bed together in our new home, and decided to make their own holes to make the bed fit! Levi at the end knows we are upset, and angry regarding his unethical business practices, and takes off 60.00 from a 1,100.00 bill. Then he has the nerve and audacity to ask for a tip for his employees. If i could have physically thrown him out the front door or through my front window, I would have! I even asked Levi, at the end of us using him, what happened to the 26 foot truck I requested, and that you stated you would bring, he says, I tried to reserve that 26 foot truck, NO ONE HAD ONE THAT SIZE, this was an absolute lie,, you see, as they were cramming our furniture inside his 17 foot truck, I called 6 UHaul companies nearby, ALL HAD A 26 FOOT TRUCK on their property! Again, more dishonesty from an unethical company! I can go on and on with this company, again, please feel free to call me. I have pictures of Levi and his guys at my home, along with this ridiculous moving truck he showed up with. This review was long overdue. This move was an absolute nightmare! This company is so far from MINDFUL! If I can prevent just one family or person from using this guy, I'd be happy. Please do your research on your movers, and get everything in writing, that was our mistake. Moving is so stressful, this was the last thing we needed to deal with. Don't usually write reviews but thought I should due to unprofessional business practice I experienced with this company. I was quoted a price with 3 movers and a large enough moving truck for a 5 bedroom house. Only 2 movers showed up late and took a total of 11 hours to move us ( included 1 hour travel time). The 2 movers worked hard and can't blame them , but the manager Levi charged me the same hourly rate for quoted 3 movers when I only got two movers. Then he had the nerve to send me a revised quote and changed the quote to 2 movers instead of 3 with the same hourly rate. And on top of that they did not fit everything in the truck. This was a couple months back- I just haven't had the time to sit down and write this given we were busy moving- Called to get a quote- Person with the name Levi picked up. We went over the details and then I asked if he can send me a written contract. he said he would send the same day. I waited to receive the contract that day and didn't. Called back to follow up on my quote and why he didn't send it and he started getting very aggressive blaming me for having a messed up email (email was just my last name and first initial- he knew that too ). I then turned to Yelp to see if maybe he was just having a bad day, but then I started reading all the horror stories people have with the operator of this buss. SO glad we stayed away. I recommend reading low rated reviews before hiring this business. I encourage you to read how the person in charge of his yelp replies to upset customers. I requested a quote and was upset when I was contacted by text because I was worried my private information may be sold or that it would be put on a mailing list. Mr. Miller concurrently emailed me a quote for my move request but answered none of my original questions. A few minutes later he said "please disregard my quote." When I asked why he sent me a screen shot of our phone conversation. I thought that wasn't very nice. Some customers prefer one method of communication over another and for him to rescind his services is not very professional. After a horrible moving experience I was dreading my recent move. I called Mindful Movers explained my situation and Levi was awesome, he showed up early, worked hard, he was personable and professional. He handled my furniture with care and my fragile items as though they were his own. He didn't muck about or waste time, he was such a pleasant surprise and a godsend! I had to move last minute and he was nice and helpful on the initial call and every communication afterwards.When i was ready to lose my last brain cell, they calmed me down and ensured everything would be okay and easy. Guys who moved were great, though they spent a lot of time chatting with us rather than moving. Levi underquoted me on the phone - honored a rate I had seen online through a different website, then he bait and switched it the day of. He charged me the same rate but gave me an hour less time, which was actually more than his original quote. When I texted him letting him know what happened, he simply never responded. Miscommunications happen (though this wasn't that) but I would've been open to a discussion about it before writing this review. It's now 2 months later and he never did reply. read more

Levi Miller- owner quoted me on the phone on November 7,2019. Two guys were so bad and I actually saw him kicked my cat tree the leg was damaged. I yelled at him. They dropped several boxes - damaged ! Their tempers flared... My son was afraid of them. Not me as an old lady I stood up. They refused to move my stuffs from UHaul to my apt within half hour. They left ! Because of their faults not professional movers. Ended up to carry 3/4 of stuffs from truck to my apt by my son and ME ! for 4 hours. This moving company should be shut down. After searching several companies online and putting in requests via online systems, Levi with Mindful Movers called me in less than 10 minutes after putting in my request for a bid. I was able to schedule and secure a date with Mindful Movers in less than 1 hour! All the other companies called 24-48 hours later. I don't have time to mess around! Mindful Movers was on it and I hired this team to help us move back in August- you know- the HOTTEST time of the year. The team was amazing. They showed up on time, and moved all of our large items to our new place across town into a historic victorian. We have large items being moved into a delicate home, and NOT A THING was broken, chipped, or lost, or scrapped. All door jams , wood floors were treated with great care, these guys were so cautious and efficient. I unfortunately got a summer cold, and could not move the rest of our items in our home. I called Levi and he and the team came back a few days later to finish the job for me. Everything was in budget and affordable. I would hire these guys again and again.
