ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I haven't moved in 13 years, so needless to say, I was a ball of stress (especially since I only had seven days to pack and prepare). I shopped around for quotes and was getting consistent estimates at $1000 or more. I live alone and wasn't taking any very large pieces with me but I live on the FIFTH FLOOR of a WALK UP building. *cue crying noises* Lucky for the building tenants, we have very high ceilings in our units... unlucky for anyone who has to climb the extra-long flights of stairs to climb floors. When I was shopping around for movers, I was appalled by the number of companies that SPAM you the second they get your contact information -- bordering on harassment. However Falcon sent a quick email asking for information and they have a great online tool where you quickly input the types of items and number of boxes, etc. and they get back to you quickly with a VERY REASONABLE estimate. They even were thoughtful and experienced enough to realize that staffing an additional person for my crazy walk-up job would be much more efficient, would balance out the workload and would ultimately be much better than sending two guys straight to their death. Dimitry, Arman, and Ivan arrived right on time, even a few minutes early, masks on, and were so professional and efficient. Dimitry went through each room with me to make sure they knew which items were going and what was staying and then I basically tried to stay out of their way as they quickly wrapped any furniture items and moved everything down, down, down, down, down all the stairs to the truck. We even did a final walk through to make sure nothing was left behind and then headed to the new apartment. Thankfully my new place is a ground floor apartment and I was so relieved not to have to cower in my self-guilt for imposing such suffering upon them. They were all so good-natured, friendly, and nice. When moving my items into the new apartment, everything was neatly stacked, Dimitry even asked where items should go and reassembled my bedroom for me. SUCH an amazing experience. They took so much stress off my shoulders and I am so grateful! Cherry on top, they even finished early and I was all moved out and into my new place in less than three hours. Recently Falcon Moving and Storage moved myself and Cousin Rena from Mount Vernon, NY to Owings Mills, MD and I had an awesome experience. The move took place on 02/03/2017. Bill the customer service rep that scheduled the move two weeks prior was very courteous and attentive to our needs. The two movers Dimitri and (not sure of the other movers name) were scheduled to arrive between the hours of 8am thru 10am. Both movers arrived @ 8:25am well prepared and began working immediately. It took both the movers approximately two and a half hours to get our two bedroom apartment packed and loaded on the truck. Please keep in mind the apartment myself and cousin rented was a two bedroom attic apartment in a private house (third floor). We were given an unbelievable estimate amount for eight hours in which things were going well until while in route to Maryland Dimitri and his partner caught a flat on their truck. This did cause a bit of an inconvenience for myself and cousin because other things we had scheduled for that day we had to rescheduled. However because both movers were so polite, hardworking, and overly apologetic it made hard for me or my cousin to stay angry. Also to my surprise we were credited back some of our money which I did not expect. There's no doubt in my mind I'll be using Falcon Moving and Storage for my next move and I highly recommend their services. Tameia read more

This is my first time working with a moving company, and Falcon gave me such a great moving experience, from the initial estimate to the final unloading and reassembly. Go with this company because a) the pricing is incredibly fair, transparent, and easy to understand (by the hour; b) Dinesh, the moving coordinator, is helpful, accommodating, and responsive, and he was willing to work with me on dates and times when so much of my plans were up in the air and I was having a hard time making decisions; c) the moving guys, Jeremy and James, were punctual, even arriving earlier during the estimated window than I expected. They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, and took really good care of all of my things. They were quick with loading up in New Jersey, on time with driving to DC, and quick with unloading, as well - all with wrapping and disassembly and then unwrapping and reassembly. Jeremy and James were patient and attentive to any questions and concerns I had, and they were fun to be around, making an otherwise stressful experience much less so. My movers--Jay, JR, and Jeremy--worked incredibly hard and did a great job. They were meticulous and efficient, even going so far as to point out pre-existing marks and scratches on the wall of my new apartment that I had not noticed (from the previous owner). Everything they moved arrived intact and undamaged, and the whole process was relatively stress-free. The only reason this is not a 5-star rating is because I ended up paying $500 more than the quote. I moved from NYC to DC, and the drive took about 2.5 hours longer than they anticipated due to traffic and truck-related routing issues (they couldn't use parkways and had to stop at weigh stations), so the 8 total hours estimated on the quote became 10.5, with 7 of those being the transit time. That being said, Jay, JR, and Jeremy did their best to make up the time when they arrived, and I don't blame them for the increased cost. In the future, Falcon should make sure their quotes are accurate to prevent confusion and frustration on the back end of the move. read more

Jonathan, Angelo, and Nelson showed up right at the start of the two hour window after calling in advance to let me know they were a half hour away. They were very professional right from the beginning with Jonathan working me through the paperwork while Nelson and Angelo got right to work. They packed everything quickly and safely and consulted me on a couple of items with large glass panels, that I decided to handle myself the save on crating costs. I definitely prefer that to having surprise charges show up at the end and wanted to stick to my budget. They loaded the truck quickly and drove right over to our new place a few miles away. They brought everything where it belonged and unpacked. I was happy to see no damage on anything when they completed the job right on time. Quoted 4 hours and it took 3h 50 minutes, and trust me they hustled the whole time. Would definitely hire Falcon again and ask for this same crew. Really great job! read more

I am so glad I hired Mindful Moving. They made what I thought would be a super stressful day a lot better than I expected. I first spoke to Dinesh, who explained everything and gave me a reasonable estimate (with detailed email confirmation). On moving day, Jermey, JL, and Jeffrey were wonderful. They were fast, friendly, and efficient. My couch gave them a heck of a situation that took a while to figure out how to get it out (including removing the door and re-attaching it), and they stayed calm and just kept trying until they got it out. At my new home, all three guys were fast and accommodated all of my requests (a lot of "please move it another inch, okay another") with smiles. Jermey sat down with me when they were done and explained everything on the bill carefully, and they were faster than the estimate so I paid less than I expected. This was the first time my boyfriend & I hired a moving company, let alone one that has storage as well...we were impressed! The day we moved out, Jeremey, Eddie, & Unique took care of business! They were fast, efficient, & had a great sense of humor. The day we moved into our new place, we had Jeremey & Eddie again & another guy named J.R. Again, they were fantastic! Everything came back damage-free & Jeremey even fixed the feet/legs on our loveseat (the store we bought it from had them on wrong)! I called 3 moving companies and Mindful was the only company that didn't require a 3 hour minimum with a handful of additional fees. They let me decide that I only needed 2 hours and explained that there was a charge for additional time, if needed, which I appreciated. Mindful was the least expensive option and that didn't come with subpar service. Jeffrey and Jeremy showed up promptly at the 3:30 when the window was 3:30-5:30 and explained to me what I was signing, understood my ask and started working promptly. They were careful, courteous and very polite. Once the work was complete, they explained the exit process thoroughly and handed me all the necessary paperwork needed. I would highly recommend them and in the future I'll go with Mindful again and request the two gentleman that assisted. Thank you for great service! read more

You cannot go wrong with this moving company. Took genuine concern with our furniture. Alerted us prior to wrapping our furniture of any blemishes, scratches or imperfections. Three men worked as a team. We were moved in a timely matter. When we arrived at our destination, we walked through house to see where we wanted everything. Very, very professional is the least I could say. A quick note, the charge is hourly. My husband dismantled furniture, bureau mirrors, furniture frames and outdoor furniture. We only had the furniture for inside the house put in the respective rooms. Boxes we left in garage to unpack at our leisure. They were in and out and we got money back due to how quickly everyone performed there jobs. read more

I called Dimitry and Falcon Moving and Storage about a last second move for my daughter. Let me share what incredible service looks like. They were able to do it within 48 hours of my request. They came in the pouring rain. They outbid every other moving company that I spoke with. They were professional including not doing what every other company did which was to throw their competitors under the bus and use scare tactics to try to get you to buy. They were on time for both pickup and delivery 4 hours away. There were zero surprises. They were in and out. And by the way...the guys couldn't have been nicer. Would use them again and again. Right from the initial communication, Dmitry was incredibly detailed and meticulous in explaining the packing and gave us a very reasonable quote. Till the moving day, there was periodic communication between Dmitry and me and he was very helpful in giving packing tips as well. Come moving day, Jeremy, Jeffrey and Kevin were in charge of moving our stuff and it was ridiculous how efficient they were! I had a great experience with this moving company. They returned my call and gave an estimate immediately. I needed to do a partial move of a mix some really awkward heavy items and some super delicate ones. I received confirmation calls before the move as well. The crew did a quick walk through, marked the pieces to be moved gave me a full explanation of how delicate items would be crated. Jeremy, Eddie and JL moved us today from Phillipsburg NJ to Bridgeville DE. Eddie is packer extraordinaire! They took everything we had and were loaded in 1 hour and 15 minutes! They wrapped all our furniture and took great care getting it out of the house. Once they arrived at our new home, they took the same care in off loading. Cleaned up all their leftover materials. Total of 7.5 hours door to door, loading and unloading. All the guys were friendly and courteous. Jeremy took great care in making sure I understood all the paperwork. I don't hate many things, but I HATE moving. I had to move my business office after 5 years of being in a decent location to a temporary space 2 months ago, and then again to a permanent place, just today. I'm so thankful for Dmitry and his team. They were easy to communicate with, friendly, mindful of how they carried my furniture and things, mindful of the walls of the spaces they were carrying things through, and moved quickly.
