This was the first time I had to get a smog check done for this car, it's a 2009. The place I used to take my cars closed about 4 years ago (owner retired). Wanting to take my car to someone just as honest and as reasonably priced as I had been before I came to Yelp and found this place. With this many 5 star reviews how could I go wrong? I just moved to California and had to get my car checked for a Smog Test. I looked this place up on Yelp and found it was both close and had a Five Star Rating. After going there... I know why! The owner is simply a very honest and very nice person. I showed up on a Saturday afternoon at about 1:30 and he took my car right in. I was in and out in about 15 minutes and back on the road. He keeps his shop clean and does a very good job at getting your car test done right and efficiently. If you need to get a smog test... make this your stop! You will not regret it. Went here the end of December and was told my car passes smog but had the wrong catalytic converter. She told me to come back after I got it fixed. Since it was right after Christmas I didn't have money at the time. I just got it done and she told me it was too late. I had to pay again. Not ok. do not come here!!!!!! this guy told me to get a new catalytic converter, which i did and it still failed. this was the 2nd time after getting the part. he then said to get a new egr valve, which i did and it still failed!! this was the 3rd time. i asked him why he told me to get those parts if it didnt even pass and he said he didnt know!! i argued why doesnt he know if thats his job to know and he said he didnt have to know. wtf?!?!? we argued for a while and then he said, " maybe its a piece of shit." His wife or something started arguing with me also after he stormed out and left the building. Once I began to leave he came back knowing I was leaving. read more

Family business including Mom and a nice son--so zero creep factor here, Ladies. 10 minutes, zero hassles. They don't do repair here so their only interest is to pass you. The restroom does smell like urine :( but it's only a 10 minute wait so skip it. Also, Google maps doesn't say "Minh" just "smog" but the address is correct. read more

I randomly found this place through my Iphone search since I needed a smog check for my car. Don't look any farther. I went in at 2:07PM and was done by 2:14PM. It looked like a family was running it, and they were all VERY nice and welcoming. The total cost was $48.20 and still is cheaper than any other place, even if it's only by a few dollars.
