I didn't even know that this place existed, I have only been to the actual Model Bakery location in St. Helena. This is such a super cute and small place with outdoor seating. While there is always a wait outside, it moves pretty quicky and service is friendly. My go to is their lavender latte - have it warm or iced. They are also known for their muffins, and they totally live up to the hype, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and so good with a bit of butter and jam. Mini Model Bakery is a super cute little coffee shop and bakery to stop by at. In my personal opinion their pastries and drinks are not the best. If you really want a good bakery, go to Bouchon or Honor Market, both having great selections. The service is pretty quick but not the fastest. They also do not have much seating whereas Honor Market does. If you are looking for a quick place to pick up breakfast I would recommend choosing other options nearby. read more

Saw the scary line at bouchon and realized we had a winery reservation so we had to grab breakfast quick. PRE-MADE English Muffin Breakfast Sandwiches ($8.95 each). That's right..."pre-made" sandwiches. They all are, according to the cashier. The fillings reminded me of big fast food chain. Not going to front though, McD's Sausage Egg McMuffin is my guilty pleasure but The Model Bakery isn't a big fast food chain, nor is it cheap. Because the breakfast sandwiches are pre-made, the English muffins are soggy. The worst part? The staff couldn't even properly reheat the pre-made breakfast sandwiches. The bland egg puck was cold in the center. So, was the sausage and the cheese wasn't even melted in one of the sandwiches. Way to ruin these highly coveted English muffins and a waste of good quality carbs. Like the other negative reviews said, STICK WITH THE PLAIN ENGLISH MUFFINS.
