They no longer sell Shaved Ice, the Oreo Stuffed Cookies, Matcha-related drinks and other menu items. For now, they're only offering: Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches, some Cold Drinks and Speciality Drinks (which includes the Cotton Candy "Cloud") But, it's a bummer...this was our First visit, and we were greatly anticipating the cookies, shaved ice and the Matcha Strawberry drink, only to be told, "We no longer serve those. Sorry. It's because we're always changing and trying to offer newer things." I somewhat understand the logic behind this marketing strategy, but, some things are too good to get rid of, right?Anyway, it's ok. The drinks are pretty average for milk tea/dessert places. Mind you, I didn't try the macaroons & ice cream, so I have no opinion on that aspect yet. We ordered: 2 Thai teas with mochi and grass jelly toppings (instead of boba) & 1 honey milk tea with Chocolate Chip toppings (instead of boba) And we also bought (2) 32 oz re-fillable mason glass jars. Finally made it to a Snow Monster location! I have seen them pop up all over the place and there is always a big crowd! My coworker also highly recommended this place so I decided to check it out. Basically go here for a really good ice cream sandwich or boba milk tea! I ordered the horchata ice cream and the toffee macaron for the sandwich portion. My friend ordered the honey milk tea. The tea was very good. They gave her a sample first since we had never been to the location before and the sample was so large she had plenty for me to try! The sandwich was amazing. Best macaron I have ever had by far. I like how they are a bit larger than the average macaron so there is more fluffy interior. And when I say fluffy I mean super fluffy! The macaron was my favorite part. It was hard to eat it like a sandwich for me because it was so large but I didn't mind breaking up the cookie with a spoon and enjoying it that way. Instead services the person behind me. I then proceeded to wait 28 minutes while they made two drinks and a cup of ice cream. The boba was good but not worth the visit. To be fair this place actually has a great ambiance but Snow Monster has always just been a middle of the road boba location for me and this place is no different. The bulb cups are fun and the cafe itself is really comfortable. The milk tea is just average, tilting towards the more sweet side, almost too sweet for me. Big place but since COVID there are no tables out and the upstairs is blocked off. The front store (where tables and seating area use to be) is now a small shop display supporting/selling Wildflower Co. items (forever flowers, candles, bath bombs) and selling stickers, keychains, etc. The menu is on the TV screen display but at a height level for everyone to see (kids include) which was genuinely nice where we do not have to look up. However, people in the back/behind can't see, which causes people to come and hover over you [inside me scream, ~4ft apart please]. It was so pretty busy and only ONE person was working. She took orders and made the orders, 2-3 at a time. Waited about 25minutes for me to order and another 15-20 minutes to get my one drink. My drink was just okay, strong jasmine tea flavor and sweet. I really dislike companies that do lone workers (having one employee working). The stress and the impact on that one person running a big store are not enough. Why? Because one consumer was asking how much a flower was, but she was too busy making orders that she did not hear her. Since the line to order was long, the consumer just left instead. read more

My girlfriend and I love coming here for these two flavors and the ambiance is both welcoming and chill......BUT : we brought our own hydro flasks with the intention of not using single use plastic and the friendly staff informed us that they wouldn't be able to fill them, since management doesn't allow them to pour drinks in anything besides their own Monster cups. We love coming here but we do hope this message reaches the owners regarding single use plastic and can accommodate to their customers who are making an effort to be more environmentally conscious. We also got Thai tea. After we sat down, I was able to read the fine print on the menu board and they offer a cute, reusable jar for your drinks. Why didn't the cashier inform me of that? I have my cute teenage daughter with me who would have loved it! Plus, if it's the company's mission to help the environment that seems like an important up-sell that the employees should push. However, I think the environment isn't that important to them because they still have plastic straws and no paper ones. The second trip was worse than the first. A different cashier, who seemed angry about life, was less helpful than the first one and did not try to up-sell the reusable drink jar either. I didn't want to ask her about it because she seemed upset. And I still put a dollar on the tip screen when I paid even though she was anti-friendly because I didn't want to make her more mad. I'll go back a few more times because I do like the Thai tea and they had some interesting flavors of different drinks I would like to try. I ordered the jasmine milk tea which I've tried at their other location in Garden Grove and I recall it tasting pretty great, so I don't know if it's me and my taste buds but after the first few sips, the sweetness started to really settle down until it was no longer sweet. We walk down here almost daily. Most of the time, a unique flavor of one of the nummy items in the menu catches the mood and we spring for a small macaron and 1 large with ice cream center. We've never been disappointed! It's always delicious, & the staff are always friendly, super patient with indecision, and willing to offer helpful suggestions. Finally got to come here after I bookmarked it when it opened. After going to the Huntington Beach location and enjoyed it and was looking forward to this one opening up since it's closer by. So after Simmzy's this was on the back to car so of course we had to come here and Nadine had to get the light bulb glass for Jules back home lol. So the menu is no different and this location is bigger than the Huntington Beach location. There are a few tables and there is a second level with more tables. I didn't know what I wanted this time but I did want to get the camera lens mug I know for what I don't know just to display lol. I ended up just getting a Jasmine Milk tea simple drink. I was visiting and I brought my mom over because I was craving Boba but wow they don't just have Boba they do shaved ice, macaroon ice cream sandwiches, shaved ice crazy goodness everything, cotton candy and more. I really do love the way it's set up here and the smaller menu makes it nice and easier to decide. The service was a little slow even though there was nobody in line they may have been understaffed but at the end of the day they were really friendly and let me sample the two teas I was in between. This place is SO COOL. My fiancée and I are visiting from Reno and are so happy we found this place. Originally we'd wanted ice cream, but the Rainbow Cloud here turned out to be a much better option. We did get the above mentioned Rainbow Cloud: a swirl of fresh spun cotton candy topped with fruity pebbles, on top of a drink of our choice. We went with the honey milk tea (with boba). It was an excellent choice- the cotton candy was nice and sweet but the milk tea wasn't, so there was a good balance of flavor. Plus the honey flavor really came through! My friend and I stopped by for coffee there; The wait time was much longer than in any other coffee shops (expect 15 mins+ on weekends) plus limited seating. I got coffee and a mini macaroon, it wasn't worth the wait time; my friend got coffee and ice cream sandwich and she liked it a lot. I've had Snow Monster bookmarked for a while and finally took the drive down to Long Beach. The Boba was delicious. You also can opt to get their signature jar, when you bring it back they will fill that for the price of a regular size. There is plenty of seating.
