Minus's bowl made with Chicken Rice, beans, cheese, pico de gallo, homemade chipotle sauce. Well seasoned and a sharing portion. Beverages are taped for food delivery. Excellent staff [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small restaurant[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outdoor seating[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's a little restaurant. I didn't see much of a variety of authentic dishes, mainly American dishes. The menu seemed limited too compared to the website. Our food came in smaller plates. It was piled on top of each other which made it difficult to move food around. I used the butter bowl to set the bread just so I can eat what was on the bottom. Service was okay. We didn't get a whole lot of interaction. Just the order, food arriving, and payment.

I enjoyed Minias! Food was fresh and flavorful. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu has some Latin food and drinks.

I cannot commend Minia's enough. Slightly off of Montclair's beaten path, you'll find this excellent eatery. It is not large, but it has delicious food and exceptional service. My coffee, which was VERY GOOD, was served in such a cool and colorful cup. I enjoyed every drop and is highly recommended. My Avocado Toast was one of the best I've ever had. The over easy eggs had the perfect ozziness, the side salad was incredible, and I appreciated how my silverware was sharp enough to cut all the way through the bread, in order for it not to jump out of the impressively shaped dish. The Chicken Bowl entree was just as good as the Avocado Toast. Every ingredient was fresh and a to-go container was required. I am delighted to have experienced Minia's, I'll most definitely return, and I highly recommend Yelpers to visit.

Popped in again today. Grabbed an iced cofffe and a breakfast wrap. The coffee itself I have to say is not great. I'm not sure if they burnt it or that's how it usually is. I would have enjoyed the wrap if they didn't load it with rosemary which they do not list on menu ingredients. I get not putting salt or pepper but if something has rosemary in it you have to list it. It's a very strong taste that I do not like. That's the reason for the lower rating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They did have a dog bowl out front with ice and water for people walking by which is very cool and the reason score wasn't lower.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That plus the staff is always nice.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy little downtown spot with maybe 10 tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very friendly when I walked in and told me to grab a table. Ordered the pancakes, which came with turkey bacon and eggs. I didn't really want eggs at the time so they substituted for Avocado. Thought that was nice. Wasn't too crazy about the Turkey Bacon. I like it cooked a little bit more, but the portion size was good. Pancakes were flavorful and fluffy. Powdered sugar not my thing, but I get it and it's a nice touch. Not a fan of syrup packets, but seems to be more and more popular. The latte was solid and I recommend it! Overall, I'd certainly go back and have already ordered take out since this visit. I work a couple blocks away, so excited to have another option

I must admit, not every place that makes Mangu know how to make it. Ordered this for breakfast before work and I must admit, that they hit it spot on! Mangu was just great, the salami and egg perfectly cooked. The pickled onions was so damn good! The cheese fried to perfection!!!

I've been here a few times to eat and I'm always pleased with my experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I recently dined inside in the new dining area with my husband. There are also a few tables outside that are nice to sit at[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We both ordered the Bistec a lo pobre and it really hit the spot! The dish was full of flavor without being overly salty. It came out pretty quickly and was served at the perfect temperature with the best over easy egg. The service was attentive. I just wish they were open for dinner too! We will certainly be back for another tasty lunch.

The service was good, the waitresses were patient taking our large order. We ordered the Padrillas, steak platter, quesadillas steak and the Bistec. Food was flavorful and filling. Gave it 4 stars because our initial waitress was a little impatient but they resolved it and gave us a new waitress.

This place never disappoints. Their food is so flavorful and delicious, and anytime I bring a new person here they love it!!! Guaranteed great food and coffee, and great service as well.

Stopped here for a quick bite after church. It was nice and busy but I was able to get a table. The staff were friendly and patient while I decided on my order. Ordered a breakfast sandwich made with French toast. It was sooo good! I really enjoyed it. Enjoyed the atmosphere as well.

Had a lovely lunch at Minia's. They have two dining rooms inside and two outside tables. It's a small place, if there's anyone who's a loud talker, you'll hear their whole conversation. The menu is breakfast, brunch and lunch. There are menu items which are Latin flavored. Per Lorena, the co owner, the place is partly Uruguayan and Dominican owned. We got the parillada for two, which came with grilled beef chicken and sausage over fries. Just delish. Also the salad that came was pretty good. My lunch partner got the smoothie drink, also very good. 35 for a filling lunch for two is not too bad. Per Lorena, Friday sat and sun are busy. Come visit and support your small businesses.

A+. I used to live in Montclair. I now live in Los Angeles, but visited for the summer. I came here Sunday with my kiddos and returned Tuesday with my Aunties who live here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music is lovely. The ambiance is comforting[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. And most importantly the food is delicious. Everyone was pleased. Even my picky Auntie. As we left they spoke of who they'd bring back here. It's the details. This spot gets it. I had French toast, turkey sausage and fresh berries with a matcha latte...both times. I have to go try other things. But it was so good I just had to order it again. My (super picky eater) son ordered the same burrito....twice. And sung it's praises. My aunts had French omelets. My aunt was even blown away by the side salad served with the omelet. And I tasted the potatoes served with the others omelet and they were perfection. The service is top tier. They refill your water. They're attentive and kind. Rosa helped us both times. She was patient with my (little)peoples who couldn't make up their minds. I'm grateful for places like this. Eating out is a luxury and it's wonderful when the restaurant gets it. Looking forward to returning. No notes!

Amazing food. Some of the best latin cooking I've had in NJ. Best empanadas ever. Really sweet service too.

We brought it back home and the cutlet was still plenty warm and the romaine was cold and crunchy. My coworker and boyfriend suggest getting some extra Caesar dressing on the side for dipping. The place was cutie pie - I liked that they were playing good music and had a silly book of animals I could browse at while I waited for the food to be ready. There was an altercation of two couples yelling at each-other and causing a fuss. Lowkey I wish the manager would have refused service to all 4 of them because why were they being absolutely terrible at 1pm on a Saturday. Not kicking them out promotes they can act like that and have no repercussions. But anywho guess the sandwiches are worth fighting over. I will be returning!

Went just passed noon on a Saturday and the wait wasn't too long but there were lot of people -…read morerain didn't stop anyone! The size is so much bigger in person vs. shown online, so come hungry or be prepared to pack leftovers. They're a bit hard to eat like a sandwich so we had to use a fork and knife to cut it up into smaller pieces. I can see why people get a side order of dressing as it could be a bit dry - would recommend doing so (some people get buffalo sauce).
